Quicktime Pro 7.7.1 (1680.42) when pasted the Header and Body Text into the Web Page only the sound is heard, no video Dreamweaver shows errors in the [Resources/stylesheets/qtp_library.css] line for Windows Explorer, Firefox, and Safari

Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel. Open The QuickTime control panel, click on the Browser tab, click on MIME Settings. Click on + to expand Miscellaneous-Miscellaneous file formats, uncheck Flash media. Click OK Apply OK and restart the browser for the change to take affect.
You are more than likely recieving the ? because the website is using Macromedia Flash Player, maybe now called Adobe. The lastest version of Flash Player is 9, this site will tell you what version is currently on the computer.

Open iPhoto, select a couple of photos and use the Share ➙ iWeb ➙ Photo page menu option. That has jump started iWeb for others. I could take a couple of tries.
If that doesn't work try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iiWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.

HP PSC 1300 Series printer does not print the entire last line on page

Using an HP PSC 1310 series printer (1315xi I think). Just changed computers and OS from winXP to Win7 Professional. Now the very bottom line on my checks only shows the top 10% of that last line. There is a 1-inch margin at the bottom of 11.5" LETTER paper. There is no problem if I use another printer (HP PSC 1210xi). Is there an updated 1310 series driver that wasn't automatically selected by Win7Prof when I switched computers?

I see no way to adjust the margins on the printer. When I click 'Printer Properties - Effects' the Margins area has nothing I can change and even though there is a box to Minimize Margins, it cannot be clicked. Using the Resizing Option to reduce page to 95% does not pull the last line into the printable area. I can print the file to PDF using doPDF v7 and then see the printable white area that goes just under the last line when I choose the 1210xi printer, but when I select the 1300 series printer the white area moves slightly upward just above most of the last line to be printed. I can't choose the pdf selection to fit or shrink to printer because that distorts the page on my pre-printed checks, so I must choose Page Scaling as 'None'. My checks printed fine on the old computer with XP and using the same PSC 1300 printer. I've also tried to print to another printer that prints the last line with no problem.

My iPhoto library does not play the sound from videos by my digital camera

Hello, although the videos from my digital camera used to play sound from the iPhoto library, now they don't. only videos playing sound are the ones from the iPhone. The digital camera videos, do play sound on media player. Please help. Thank you

As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?
If the problem persists log into another user account on your Mac, create another test library and test to see if the problem persists there. Does it?
Can you export a video from the digital camera to the Desktop as Kind = Original and play it with Quicktime Player? Does the sound play then?

If I shake windows of VI's, does not run the code.

I have many VIs called from a VI and thus run in parallel, a VI has a DLL that allows me to communicate via CAN. If I minimize and maximize windows to be changing the VI's or I shake the window, the communication CAN be lost for a moment (And it breaks my comunication system).
I use windows XP.
Some solution? Is this normal?

Labview 8.5 application builder .exe does not run.The same source code runs ok.

I have an application built in labview 8.5 application builder using windows XP. I have one instrument connected in gpib and one connected to a serial port. The source code runs ok but when I build an executable of teh same code and try to run it, it doesnt run the instrument connected to the serial port. It does communicate with the gpib port. Any ideas why this would be happening?

"Save a copy" does not run the JavaScript defined for AA WS/DS

I'm displaying the pdf in browser (IE) and need to audit the user saving the file (e.g. from the floating toolbar's "Save a copy"). However, the script inserted to run on Additional Action Did Save/Will Save is not invoked (the script and the structure of the document are ok because I'm doing the exact same thing for Did Print and works just fine).
So it looks like "Save a copy" is not "Save" .
Any idea on how to work around this?

Thanks a lot for the quick answer.
I'm "injecting" in the pdf some JavaScript to run on AA+DS (ie. this.submitForm(<servlet>Action=Save#FDF)... so that I "know" when the user saves the pdf and I can do my auditing stuff). To my surprise the JavaScript is not executed when the user "Saves a Copy".
The point about printing is that the script and document structure are correct since I'm calling this.submitForm(<servlet>Action=Print#FDF) on AA+DP to audit printing of the same document and works.

Parallels Desktop does not run - the application parallels desktop quit

Keep getting the popup error "The application Parallels Desktop quit unexpectedly" Ignore report or relaunch. I have reinstalled parallels numerous times to no avail. I have reported this issue numerous times to Mac over the last couple months and nothing yet.
Is the application conflicting with something or does it just not work. I have also went to the parallels website and got the latest version.
Any help or guidance greatly appreciated.

I had the same frustrating problem. I found the answer here and it worked perfectly!
First I ran the uninstaller from my original Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac cd and got rid of the application completely.
Then I went to http://forum.parallels.com/pda/index.php/t-22328.html and looked at the post for 8/13/2008 10:28 PM

As per directions, I repaired the disk permissions.
Then as per the directions, I downloaded the build 5608 which is a Parallels Desktop 5608 application installer.
Lastly, you should know that I did NOT follow the directions for the terminal section. I was not comfortable messing around in there. I skipped it, ran the Parallels Desktop 5608 installer and I was up and running very quickly. Even though I skipped the terminal step, it works perfectly. I think it's because the uninstaller had already deleted the files that were referred to in the terminal directions.

I notice some web pages when pinned to the apps tab have an icon that reflects their organistation and others just have a blank page Icon. Where does firefox read the icon from i would like to know so when i do a web page I can include an icon

CS6 does not play the sound

Hi, I bought CS6 some months ago, tried it briefly and it worked. Now, half a year later, I really want to work it, but it does not play, neither mp3 nor wav-files. I see the waveform, I can amplify it, cut parts of it, edit it otherwise, but the red lline and the yellow cursor do not start/move and I hear nothing. I clicked on the start btton and on the endless button, nothing happened. I am using Windows 8.1. Please, help....

Invariably, when Audition's transport doesn't start it's because you've lost the connection to your sound device. So go to the Preferences menu and Hardware setup, and re-establish it - you should be good to go then.

On board program does not run the motor to new positions yet commands to state of digital I/O in the same program line.

I am controlling a stepper motor position via a PIC-7342 board. This part of the program has worked in the past. I have another program that does almost the same thing and it works as always.
The program sets the speed and accelerations, then sets a position and tell the motor to run to the position. Then it sets a communication bit through the MCS register. Then it sets a new position and command the motor to run to the new position. It then delays a short time and commands an output to turn on. Then it sets a new position and commands the motor to run to the new position. After each command to run there is a wait for motion complete. The code used to work correctly. Now the motor runs to the first position and proceeds no further. The finial position is sometimes a couple of steps past the setpoint, which is very unusual. The digital output is fired like the second position has been reached, even though the motor has not moved to the position. The actual path for the motor is clear, so there is not mechanical reason for the problem. How would you troubleshoot an on board program?

What has changed since you last ran your system? Can you move the motor in Measurement & automation explorer? Are you getting any errors? Is this program written in LabVIEW? You may also find the following useful:

Captivate 7 does not run the exe on windows xp

We are using adobe captivate 7 installed (trail version ) in a windows 7 with SP1 computer . when we publish it and run exe in the windows XP (home ) under administrator we get following error even if the flash player is updated.
"" The installed version of Flash Player is not the latest. The latest Flash Player version has been installed successfully without affecting your existing Flash Player installation. Double-click the EXE again to run it.""
when we click OK it disappears and when we run the exe for the next time it runs . whereas if we run the same exe in the other user (not having admin permission ) also gets the same error and after clicking OK if we run exe again it shows the same error message again and again .
we have tested in win 7, win 8 , win server 2012 it works fine.
please suggest me why it comes and how to prevent it .

Installing on Windows is pretty simple, unless there is something that prevents the java environment from starting the console. Check the path environment variable and make sure there are no other jdk mixed. Check that the windows security doesn't prevent the oui console from starting, it happens that the windows security blocks java applications, and if you asked it to do it by clicking accept, then it won't start.

Glad to have helped. One more thing to try, after drying your iPod. Try plugging and unplugging the headphone jack quickly about 12 times, it could be that the switch inside the port is stuck, many times this action will un-stick it. If the problem continues you may need to look into purchasing an out of warranty iPod, refurbished one are cheaper. Also, if you have not already done so, BACKUP ALL YOUR STUFF from this iPod to your computer, water damaged iPods have a habit of stop working without any notice. Hope this helps, Good luck.

Group Policy Startup Script Applies My Policy But Does Not Run The Acual Scripts

I have created a basic batch file with msiexec.exe to uninstall a program on startup and then another separate .bat script to install the same program but the newer version. The software I'm referring to has to be completely uninstalled BEFORE
I install the "newer" version of the same program, it cannot just be overwritten. If I run a gpupdate /force on the client computer and restart, the scripts run as they are supposed to and everything works but the problem is that I can't get it to
run on first boot on a computer that has been turned off for months, even after multiple reboots it still doesn't run the scripts. The 3 policies apply to the different computers/users but the scripts don't run. I manage a theme park that is
only open 4 months of the year so the rest of the time the in park PC's are turned off. I have created my OU as "POS Computers & Users" which has all of the computers and users that will take this policy. I also have 3 Group Policy
Objects attached to this OU in Group Policy, 1 is the program uninstallation .bat script policy that runs on startup, 2 is the install .bat script policy that runs after the uninstallation script, and 3 is the Default Policy for the OU. I already have the
"Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon", "Run startup scripts visible"enabled, "Run startup scripts asynchronously" disabled, and "Run Logon Scripts Synchronously" enabled for all 3 of the
policies. They are all "link enabled" and security filtering is set to only the OU I mentioned earlier so that it doesn't affect anyone else. I have the link order set as the script I want to run first as the last and the one I want to run last first
because from what I understand inheritance is from bottom to top. The install file is accessible by everyone with full permissions on our "Shared" drive so I know its not a permissions issue because it runs after a gpupdate /force with a restart.
The scripts are in the proper folder for the policies they are attached to and permissions are fine.
Here is my uninstall .bat script (msiexec.exe /X{14324A6A-BDD1-4F40-8E77-664C8AEEA251} /forcerestart /qb-! ALLUSERS=1 REMOVE=ALL)

Can't be done in a login script.
This is a Group Policy issue and not a scripting issue. You do not have a script. You have a command saved in a batch file and you are using a GPO. Not a scripting issue.
