On a Mac running OSX 10.7.2 or above go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign in with your Apple ID. You canot create an iCloud account on lower systems.

The arrangement refers to the relative position of more than one display. Unless you have more than one display, for what need would there be an arrangment?
If the system only has one display, and no other external one, there is no need for it to expose the settings for a condition which does not exist.

If the latter is so, maybe you disconnected a little early and now the iPhone has no operating system installed, maybe you should try restoring it from itunes again

HT4634 how to check if my airport card is installed? I can't find it in the network settings, so no WI-FI :-(

Since I bought this iMac more then 2 years ago, I wasn't really bothered that this feature (airport) didn't work in my iMac as I connected my iMac directly via Ethernet to the routher. The wireless router then connects to the other devices in my house. But I want to move my iMac to another room and need the airport-card to work. It was bought with it, but it has never been switched on. Any suggestions, where to check:
1.if the aiport-card has been installed when I bought it?
2. if yes, how to switch it on? it doesnt pop-up on my screen when I use the '+' in the network settings? Only 'ethernet' and 'blue-tooth'.

Is there a way to see if the actual hardware with driver has been installed in the iMAC?

    If you did not notice already I was trying to open a old Lord of the Rings:The Fellowship of the Ring program. I trust this program fully and I made sure there is no virus on it and about the spyware I am pretty sure Warner Bros would make sure there is no spyware. I am using the latest Mozilla Firefox. This is the first time using this format so I do not know if I can edit and/or update or not. If I can I will.

Unfortunately, as malware gets more serious and browser security tightens down, playing SWFs from the local filesystem in the browser isn't really going to be feasible. This is one of those features where if someone had proposed it in 2015, we would have just laughed and said "no way would we ever do this". It's becoming infeasible in more and more browsers, and we'll probably just disable it once the majority of people have moved off of the remaining browsers that support it.
So, you have two reliable options in 2015:

     The game may actually need the browser, but this is a good way to deal with kiosk content and simple Flash games.
2.) Run a local web server (WAMP or XAMP make this super easy on Windows) and access the content that way.

How can I re-arranging the Email display order?

I have multiple E-mail accounts which all display nicely under MAIL / MAILBOXES. I'd like to re-arrange their display order in "Inboxes" and "Accounts" which both scroll within the same screen. Is there any way to do this other than delete them all and re-enter in the order I'd like to see them?

I can't find handoff in the general settings tab

I can't get Handoff or continuity working. I was running the last version of the Yosemite public beta but have now upgraded to the full release version in the App store. Neither version was/ is giving me the option to turn on handoff in System Preferences/ General tab. Although at an earlier Yosemite Public beta version (can't remember which one sorry) I did manage receive and make calls from my Mac (via iPhone) so at some point it did work.
I have a mid 2001 Macbook air (according to Apple this is compatible) and have checked the System Report / Bluetooth and confirmed that the LMP version is 0x6, so again thats compatible. I am signed in to iCloud on both Mac and iPhone. My iPhone 6 is running iOS 8.02 and had bluetooth turned on

Thanks for that Belafromny. I hadn't seen this particular page but that is pretty clear thats macbook air mid 2001 wont work when it talks about handoff feature. Strange thing is thought there is heaps of major site (cnet, gizmodo, cultofmac etc) out there saying that mid 2001 is ok and that Bluetooth 4.0 LME 0x6 is the minimum - and the mid 2001 air has that.
Even stranger is that when I was running earlier version of Yosemite public beta, it was working fine then. I was making and receiving calls on my mac. So suspect that Apple is now playing mean and trying to force people to upgrade Mac Air hardware.. grrrr. that really annoys me.

Hey guys, I have a PDF file and neet to set up some illustrator files in the same manner for print purposes in house. The illustrator files are all correct, just the person responsible didn't finish creating PDFs. I have one to use as a reference but need to know exactly which settings he used to create it from illustrator, are these somehow embedded in the PDF?

I think it is much deeper than that, we have been proofing colours to take to artwork using PMS separations and have the Ai files ready to go, just wouldn't know where to start setting them up for our Plotter.
We have got all the colours right and the Epson is coping pretty well with matching them, just can't get the PDF settings right.

Can't find the MP3 Disc buring settings in iTunes 8.x

I've just been searching for the settings in iTunes in which to change the burning of a disc to MP3 and it's not where it used to be. Can someone please explain this? When I go to click Edit > Preferences, Advanced tab the burning tab isn't there. I understand the Import tab has been send to the General tab and Import Settings button. Can someone shed some light on this please?

Never mind, I found those burn settings at the time you click Burn Disc while in a playlist. This is an indication how often I burn blank CDs. I own an iPod!
