HT5047 I have downloaded Mr. Fone, my question is there anyway I can retrieve deleted text messages from months ago? I have the phone almost two years.
I would just like to know if I can retrieve any of my old text messages? I have downloaded that Mr. Fone, but not really too computer savvy and just looking for direction.
I have no real faith in these alleged data recovery tools. If the text messages were deleted months ago and you were still using the device, the chances are slim, even if that program works.

About three years ago in 1012 I had an iphone3 sent and deleted text messages of course and as of now those text messages are needed for an upcoming court case i will be involved with. So is there any way to retrieve those text messages from three years ago. I am just in need of the text messages from February 2012 on. As the others noted, if you don't have any older iTunes backups then the deleted messages would not be recoverable. The free trial of Decipher TextMessage will show you if there are any text messages in your older backups that can be recovered.

Have backed up your iPhone with iTunes to a computer? Then you can restore a replacement iPhone from this backup, and this with also restore the camera roll. The iTunes backups will contain the camera roll.

Please help. I lost my i phone 4 and have now received my new SIM. My friend has kindly lent me her old i phone 3 until I get another phone. The problem is that I got a new laptop at Christmas and never connected my old phone to it before I lost it.

Ok, if that's the way it works that's the way it works. Atleast until you suggest a feature change and it gets reprogrammed. And an option (other than the SHOW DATE/SHOW TIME) is not necessary, just the time showing WHEN the channel info disappears.
I have also seen and heard what looks like RF interference. A small amount of line noise (a couple partial lines only) and crackling that does not happen all the time. Is it possible that some device or appliance in my house or the houses on either side of my home can cause RF interference with the FIOS equipment??
As for the issue with the guide, IMHO that sux! Basically you are telling me I am forced to pay an extra $8/month just to have the channel guide? Even with basic Cable (Time Warner) a guide was available! How about a guide channel like TWC

It sounds like you are using the British keyboard layout when you have a US keyboard. Go to system preferences/language & text/input sources and check the box for US and uncheck the box for British. That way the keys will produce what it says on them. £ will be at option/alt + 3. -
I have spent hours on the phone with Apple and AT&T. I went thought reset, on/off, etc, etc with both companies to no avail. Each company pointed fingers at the other....as being the source of the problem.
Problems: Suddenly ALL incoming calls were going directly to VM with no signal I missed calls and/or had VM. I was also unable to receive all Text Messages...Oddly, I could send text messages to anyone (even non-apple users but I could not receive their responses)........then I when I got home I started receiving text messages from other apples users ONLY. I assume now - iMessage kicked in and I could text (send/receive) other iPhone/iPad/iTouch users ONLY. ....yes, I could still (send) text messages to my husband's blackberry (he received my messages fine) but my phone would NOT receive his text respones.
Finally, I googled the problem and found this community where other people have had the exact same problems! One person said he "turned off 3 G" which was the solution for him....so I did the same and VIOLA! My problem solved! Nevermind the fact that I pay for 3G and cannot use it....so here's my question, if 3G is the problem on my phone is this an APPLE issue or a NETWORK problem? Do I purchase a new phone and slip in my same SIM card and hope the same does not occur or do I get a whole new SIM card and phone? What is the long term resolution to this problem?
I am happy however to find that my problem is NOT an isolated incident and wish Apple or AT&T had told me this is not so uncommon because I thought (based on the baffled response from Apple) that this has never occurred before. Where is Steve Jobs when we need him?jsavage9621,

If in the US or UK, most Apple stores will replace your screen/digitizer for US $149. If that's all your phone needs, you should be OK. Call your local Apple store to confirm.
However, if you've synced while this passcode was enabled, you won't have to enter it when connecting to your iTunes. Otherwise, there is no way to do what you want, & your data will be unrecoverable. -
I originally upgraded from FF4 when offered. When this email problem appeared, I uninstalled all FF completely and then downloaded again. Same result.
Also note that I can access via IE and via FF4 on a separate PC. Has anyone got an answer?

If the album was purchased from iTunes, as long as the content is still available in the iTunes Store, you can re-download that content at no cost. I have followed the instructions on the apple support pages and still cannot get my phone to work. It continues to show the iTunes USB picture and is not recognised on my iTunes on the windows PC. When I connect the phone to my iMac it shows no data and says I can restore to factory setting. However if I do this will all my data be erased? How do I get my phone and data back? I have saved most of the photos that were on the phone but all my contact details and messages are stored and I really need to get them back! Would have limited memory on the phone when trying to update caused this problem?

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!
