Download iTunes 11 from the Apple site and reinstall. The error message was quite plain in telling you what to do to resolve the error.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I understand you are trying to connect your iPhone to your computer so you can sync media to the iPhone, but when you connect your iPhone to your computer iTunes does not recognize the device. The steps to get this resolved will be different depending on if your computer is running Mac OS X or Windows. I’ll include both articles below.

That one is often a compatibility mode problem. Try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):

When I open Itunes then I go to Itunes store

Nothing display in the main windows if I clic any of the menu items ( Music, TV Shows, app store, etc) the first time I click something displays vor a very short period (miillisecond) then disappears, I can't get anything to display. Is this normal^ what can I do to change? My ipod is not connected when I tried this.

Make sure you don't inadvertently have two copies of iTunes on your system - possible if you moved or renamed the older copy - and are actually launching the older copy. A Spotlight search may be of help in determining whether this might be the case. Or look under the iTunes menu for the copy you're launching and see what version it reports.

I have deleted and re-installed itunes twice but the error remains. The "*." should NOT be in the registry.
We are still experiencing the problem and have a customer message into SAP. The problem only occurs logging on through SAP Portal. It occurs on Sun J2SE version 1.5 and 1.4.2 consistently. It occurs using the Microsoft VM occaisionaly. Deleting cookies, temporary internet files and clearing the history in IE seems to solve the problem for users using the Microsoft JVM.
We are on XP SP2 with all the latest MS security patches. Since we use Portals as the main logon process, we have the registry key set to prevent saplogon from launching when the user logs on.

Hi, I have the iphone 4 and I manually deleted all the voice memos on my iphone but they still appear on my iphone when I open Itunes on my computer and they still take up space. I am soon running out of space. Any ideas to permanantly get rid of some of the voice memos?
Am I the only one that really dislike the fact I cannot customize my iphone and cannot delete whatever files I want?
The only options i seem to have is to delete all my files WITHOUT a system restor because I tried doing a system restore and it puts back all my old files on my iphones.
I'm pretty desperate and any tips would help me a lot

If I understand you correctly, you purchased two albums directly from your iPhone and have successfully transferred the purchases to your iTunes library, but now you want to remove these two albums from your iPhone but having trouble, correct?
If so, you can manually delete the albums (song-by-song) by sliding your finger across each song's name, from left to right, then select the Delete button.
Or, while your iPhone is connected to iTunes click on the Music tab that you see in iTunes (where you specify what items to sync to your iPhone). At the bottom of that window (below Playlists, Genre, etc.) you'll see songs that are "manually" added to your iPhone, just un-check those and re-sync.

Adding media directly to the media folder does not make it appear in the library. iTunes doesn't really 'look' at that folder except to go to specific files when you call upon them from a library. You have to drag new content to each user's library, that is assuming each user has their own library.

If you for some reason must have many different folder make sure that you put the newst photo in the last folder so one can easily find a photo when I don't want to copy all photos to, let' say, my friend computer.
