HT5070 I purchased an entire season of a TV show, but only 6 out of 7 episodes are listed

I purchased an entire season of a TV show, but only six out of 7 episodes are listed in my library.  When I return to the store, episodes 1-6 are noted as available to download, and episode 7 is listed as available to buy for 2.99.  When I select buy, the store returns the message that I have already purchased that episode.  That is true, so why is it not listed in the cloud as available to download, and/or available to view on my Apple TV list for Season 1?

Hello CBWnc,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
If the emailed receipt shows you purchased a season of shows with Complete My Season but one of the episodes is problematic.
I would try signing out of the iTunes store from the Store menu in iTunes, then restart the computer and sign back in.
To sign in to or out of the iTunes Store:
In iTunes, choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).
From: iTunes 10 for Windows: Sign in or out of the iTunes Store
          http://support.apple.com/kb/PH1640
If you do not see the Menu bar and as such, cannot click Store, you may need to enable the menu bar.
iTunes: Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7

If the issue persists, then I would reach out to the iTunes Store support directly about your purchase:

  • If I purchase an entire season for a show, I should get it even if more episodes are added later right? Plus, how do I access an old account without access to the email it was created with?

Issue 1: I had purchased the entire season of Off Limits, and downloaded the available episodes when purchased, yet the season wasn't over. Since I purchased the entire season, I should be able to get the episodes added since then instead of having to buy them seperately like iTunes is asking me to do correct? Issue 2: Also, I had an old apple id on a computer that crashed and never got the chance to change it over to the new email even if the purchase was transferred via my iPod I was using at the time, and is on the pc i'm using now. Yet when I go to play this file, it asks for the password for the old email account (which I no longer have access to) and this has been nearly 7 years ago so I forgot what the password is to that acct. What do I do to rectify this and play this particular purchase?

  • I purchased the entire season of The Pacific. After downloading 3 of 11 episodes I keep receiving an error message that the remaining episodes cannot be downloaded at thist time. This has continued for several days.

I purchased the entire season of the Pacific from the iTunes Store.  After downloading 3 of 11 episodes, I continue to receive an error message that the remaining episodes could not be downloaded at this time.  This has continued for several days.  There is plenty of room on my iPad 2.

    Hello and welcome to the forums;
Our phone support is open every day Monday through Sunday, although there are different hours of operation for the weekend. If after a webOS Doctor reset you are still experiencing the same problems, I would likely recommend replacement, either in a local store for your carrier or through our technical support department.
There may be additional technical support offered or suggested over the phone, this would need to be done first before a replacement could be issued.
    Hope this helps,

  • HT1711 When you purchase a full season of a tv show that's in progress do you get the future episodes?

When you purchase a full season of a tv show that's in progress do you get future episodes of that season?

Definitely contact iTunes store support about this.  They can provide an answer.  http://www.apple.com/lae/support/itunes/contact/.
Also, from the Article you referenced:
New episodes will be available in "Purchased in the iTunes Store" on your computer or iOS device, or in TV Shows > Purchased on your Apple TV .
You did check in purchased.  Correct?

    Wow. Okay...
I'll let the real veterans in this forum tackle your issues one after the other. But, I can tell you, all will be well.
My only comment would be re: your computer specs:

To be completely honest, FCPX is a RAM hog. It just is. But, RAM is relatively cheap, and the pay-off is good.
4GB is right on the edge, IMHO. 16G is ideal.
I wish you luck, hang in there, and standby for more help.

  • HT5731 If I purchase the whole season of a tv show (example; PLL 4) but not all episodes are avalible or out yet will I be able to just download them when they come out or will I have to pay extra for them?

I want to download a tv show but all the season havent come out yet and so half the season is unavalible. When they come out can Ijust download them straight away or will I have to pay for them again even though im buying the whole season?

Once you pay for a season, you get the entire season as it is released.

  • HT3209 I have purchased a complete season of a TV show via my Apple TV.

I am trying to figure out how to manage purchased show via Apple TV. I am finding it takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to download each episode. I am not finding where the episodes are downloaded to. I looked at the TV shows downloaded in iTunes via my Macbook but not finding. Is there a way to download all episodes now so they are ready to watch later without waiting to download at the time ready to watch?

    Hello ewittner,
You may consider downloading all of the episodes directly to your computer. Purchased content can be redownloaded, as explained further in the article below.

  • I downloaded a TV show season and when it finished downloading only a third of the episodes can be watched and the others have the icloud symbo next to them and i cant watch them. What should I do?

I downloaded a TV show season on Itunes and when I went to watch it, only a third of the episodes would play and the others had the icloud symbol next to them and would not play. Any ideas one what could be wrong?

    Hey Jerry130,
Thanks for the question. This simply means that the episodes are not currently stored on your computer. They were successfully purchased, however are stored in the cloud. You can download the episodes by clicking the cloud icon:

  • I just downloaded about 200 TV ep. that were in the cloud on to my IMac, however the episodes will not sort themselves in to their respective shows ands seasons (i.e. all stargate episodes are listed as indivd. shows)How can I get them together as one?

All my shows are listed as individual shows and they will not regroup in to their respective seasons, can anyone help with this issue? they were all loaded from the icloud.

  • Purchased a Season of a TV show, but the last episodes are showing up as needing to be purchased again?

Out of curiosity, I purchased Season 1 of The Devils Ride. At the time, there were only 3 episodes. I was notified when episode 4 became available and was able to download / watch the episode without problem, but since then there have been 2 new episodes, and those 2 are not available for download.... rather they have an individual purchase price listed nex to them. However, the season is being shown as "purchased" in the itunes store.
What the heck is that about? How can I purchase as season, have iTunes say "this season is purchased' but then when I look at the listings for the episodes, it seems I have to buy the last few episodes on their own.
Is there anyway to get the store to register the fact that I purchased access to the whole season? I'm kind of frustrated that iTunes thinks I need to buy these individual eppisodes even though the season is clearly being registered as purchased.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Anyone????

  • I've just purchased an album, but only 11 out of the 17 songs downloaded.  How do I get the remaining 6 songs that were included in my purchased on my playlist?

How do I get my remaining 6 songs downloaded to my library/ipod?

Look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and select that. You may find the track there to be downloaded. If not, delete the entries for the missing tracks from the iTunes library. Then download the tracks again from the iTunes Store via this procedure:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
That fixes the problem for many people. If problems with the tracks persist, go here:
    iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

  • How can I purchase from Itunes without store jumping (I buy from the Guyanese store and some products are listed as only in US Stores)?

How to avoid store jumping? Why cant there be a seamless Itune Store?

Due to the rights of certain content not all content is available in all areas.  This means the US store may have items that are not available in the UK store, and the UK store may have items that are not available in the US store, and etc and etc.  This is likely to not change anytime soon.

  • Purchased entire season but it was placed in my queue scrambled

I purchased an entire season of LOST. When I went to the download queue, the episodes where totally out of sequential order. I need to know if there is a way to adjust the download order in the iTunes application. I have a total monthly data tranfer limit of 20 GB with my ISP so I cannot just download it unattended. I am working in India this year and this is a typical plan here unlike in the US where I had an unlimited data limit. I just thought that I would download them off the queue everyfew nights as needed. I would have to pay a considerable premium to allow this download to come in all at one time. I contacted customer service and they basically told me too bad and that they would remove the items at my loss of payment and emailed me a link to their purchase policy/legal documents which I really did not appreciate because I never expected to recieve the season in a scrambled fashion. The season is being treated like an "album" which would really not matter how it came in because an "audio album" is so much smaller in size. But a TV show does matter. Also, there really isn't any label or indication of which is the episode order unless you check the itunes where they list it in sequence. Exactly what I would expect to have been given.

Thank You for your response. That is a very sensible idea. Ultimately, customer service did refund me after some prodding through additional communications. They implied that they could not reorder the download queue for me either. I don't really understand what would be so difficult. I would guess that there is some sort of automated system that queues them in order of availability (who knows) perhaps the manpower involved in reordering on a regular basis would be too much. Anyhow, the issue is resolved but it would be a nice feature to at least have a skip function as you download so that you can get to something on the queue and save the rest for later in such large queues. I will just have to purchase them one at a time because it will be difficult for me to easily have access to another ISP for the number of hours that would be required to download a large amount of data.
I am glad that apple has eventually given me the customer service that I have become accustomed to.

  • Downloaded tv show episodes. Bought the entire season and after watching one and downloaded first 4-5 they disappeared.  This was during the time I was trying to migrate stuff from an older mac mini. Help?

I downloaded several episodes of the tv show "touch."  I purchased the entire season and had watched one show.  It took quite some time for each show to download, but I had downloaded 4-5.
About this time (within the last two weeks) I was trying to use migration assistant to migrate information from my older mac mini and my macbook.  while I was able to move things from my older mac mini I noticed that the tv show went missing.
Also I purchased a program called 'Touched" in a season pass.  After I downloaded a couple of episodes I watched one and continued to download the episodes as they were available.
I also purchased a program called "Tune Up" which elminates duplicates of iTunes songs.  I have a large collection and this helped to get rid of the duplicates faster than clicking on them one at a time.  Maybe this had something to do with the tv shows episodes and the podcasts disapeering.
    Any ideas?

    This may help
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
As far as the TV series being in 1080p then that is upto the content provider and some older seasons are in 720p or only SD eg Stargate
It may well be that the season you want is only available in 720p

  • Purchased a TV season and now it won't let me download next episodes

I purschased season of Sons of Anarchy and downloaded first episode but now it is telling me to download the other episodes I must pay $2.99. What gives and how can I download next episodes without paying  for what I have alreadt purchased?

    Hey there 3202hill,
It sounds like you purchased a season of a TV show, and after downloading the first, you are being prompted to buy the rest of the episodes rather than just download them as previous purchases. I would first doublecheck my purchased history and make sure it wasnt a single episode purchase.
iTunes Store: See your purchase history and web order numbers
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2727
When you confirm that you purchased the entire season, I would next sign out of the iTunes Store, and then restart the computer, sign back in, and try to download the other episodes again.
Choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).
You can also sign in to your account by clicking Sign In at the top of the iTunes Store window:
From: iTunes 11 for Mac: Manage your iTunes Store account
              http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12299
When you confirm you purchased the season, I would next use the following article to report an issue to the iTunes Store support directly:
How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store purchase
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1933
To report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store purchase, follow these steps:
Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
