Is it possible to call a locally installed ibook from a hyperlink? What about to a bookmarked page?
I have 2 questions..
1. Can I send a link via email that when launched will open an ibook that has already been downloaded to the bookshelf?
2. If question 1 is possible, can I take it a step further and call a bookmark, i.e. chapter 3.
Our company has it's own appstore and I want to send out links to sections of the ibooks using bookmarks or at the very least take them to the start of the ibook.
I don't need to give them a link to install the ibook as they already have it installed.
Any help would be much appreciated.

That would be cool, but it's not possible. The ibook is not accessible by URL in the user's bookshelf.

Yes we can access the classes of JAVA in ABP.
This is posible from version ECC 6 onward with NETWEAVER atrhcitecuture.

Youn need some extproc related entries in you listener.ora and tnsnames.ora file.

You didn't specify a database version, but if you are 10g or higher, it's quite straightforward using an external job type in DBMS_SCHEDULER. Funnily enough i'm looking at something similar myself at the moment.

Is it possible to move the local CD database from Windows to Mac?

I have/had iTunes installed on a Windows box. Windows knows all my CD and track titles (some customised from those in the online CDDB). There are more than 250 CDs, so it is a lot of data (if I have to retype it all...)
I have recently moved to a Mac. The ripped library files copied across just fine (even kept the album artwork).
However, the Mac doesn't know any CD/track titles, so when I insert a CD, there are no names. The Mac is not on the net, and probably never will be. I want to move the copy of the local CD database from the windows machine to the Mac. Is this possible? How?

I imagine you will need to network your PC with your Mac to transfer or transfer your Library from your PC to an external drive then hook this up to your Mac and transfer.

Is it possible to call the java compiler javac from runtime

Hi, can someone tell me if it is possible to call javac from runtime. I need to do this because the class I need to compile must be filled with some data given by the user. I plan to write the class code in a file, let the user write some code lines at runtime, add this lines to the file and then call javac in order to compile the file and check if the user wrote his lines properly. I wonder if this makes sense, thanks for reading this and for your help.

I am able to resolve my second problem also.
i wanted to set the "destination" of the goLink on the fly. To do this I created a custom componnt by extending the RichGoLink and I override the encodeBegin method in that class. In this method i check my condition and then set the "destination" property.
I am still using the clientListener and the serverListerner to do some further testing that i wanted to. Here one thing you have to keep in mind that. In the javascript function that we are calling in the clientListener should not do the "cancel" on the event object, if you do so it will not navigate to the required position.

I read somewhere that if we can pass the jfn token would help to redirect the control to OA page. For example to open a view quote page:

im doing a configurable system where you can create your own table using the system. i can do the creation of table by running the statement CREATE TABLE...........(with attributes) in java.

There is no difference, unless you are specifically calling the RFC to connect to another system. If so, then you need to add the DESTINATION keyword to the function call and specify the destination name. This name must be defined in SM59. But, if you are not going to another system, you can call the RFC the same way you call the regular function module.
