I have an iPhone 5s I've got a movie that I have downloaded but not all the way and I want to delete it I've swiped it left and right I've held it down still nothing please help

Thanks for the reply but it doesn't do anything if I try and delete it as you said. I go to the store, it shows it there but won't let me do anything with it & when I try & download or update anything now it just shows the app as blank no photo & won't update or download just says 'update' I click to update & nothing happens. it shows as a grey square on the main screen and says waiting. Well life is too short I will have passed away by the time anything actually decides to work! Getting really fed up with ' Apple'.

Be carefull with what you delete & have a backup BEFORE you start, you may also want to reboot to try to free any memory that may have been written to disk.

It's a known issue and has been discussed numerous times. If you need quick access, you can get beautiful silent from the market for free which will allow you have a widget on your homescreen for silent mode.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

yeah forget it. iphone is so stupid. on blackberry I can just go directly to her name and delete her right there whereas on iphone if u go directly to her name and click edit there will be no option to delete her contact. u need to exit that screen, go to main menu then go to contacts then find her name again (among my 6500 contacts; i actually found an easier way so now I copy paste that person's name and find it easier that way in contacts) and then click edit and then go to the bottom of that edit page and click delete. very annoying and slow. some iphone feature are just inexplainably slow, long and annoying.

I have a problem with an order that didn't cancel all the way...

Order {removed per forum guidelines}, I ordered Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 and Sin and Punishment: Star Successor but a little bit after placing the order I decided I wanted to cancel it. I canceled the order and Devil Survivor 2 got canceled, but now Star Successor has shipped even though I requested the cancellation before it shipped out. I needed to have both of them canceled and also, I used a $5 rewards certificate on the order that got split between the two games and is now taking only $.61 off of the order, which means I'm being shipped a game I no longer want AND it looks like I'm going to lose my $5 rewards certificate is there ANY way to have the game re-routed back before it gets to me so the order can be canceled? I would've rather kept my order complete with both games than to only get one of them, that way at least my rewards certificate wouldn't have been wasted...

If you are in a country where re-downloading is possible (iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085), delete the track (and the original file) and download again (Downloading [using iOS or computer] past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519). See tips on downloading in https://discussions.apple.com/message/19097773, especially unchecking the "Allow Simultaneous Downloads" box in the downloads tab of iTunes.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.

I think I laughed out loud in the Apple store when I made Logic crash. Not an evil, maniacal laugh, though I think people turned to see what was going on. But their attention was quickly diverted because there was this other guy in the store who was barking out loud like a dog (I kid you not). He probably had Tourette's which, strangely enough, didn't seem affect him when he answered his cell phone and talked for a while. Once he got off the phone, though, he continued barking. At one point he bent way over and peered under the counter on which the Macs were displayed, presumably to locate the lost dog. A boy, about 13 or 14 stationed at the Mac next to him shook his head in an awkward display of disapproval. I think it was his first time trying out the gesture in public. In response I rolled my eyes at him. Mentally.
The barking man countinued barking as he left the store while I stood there arguing with the salesperson as to why I shouldn't have to show a second form of ID to purchase their fine appliances.
All in all, a surreal experience.
But anyway, I'm home with my date. Now it's time to "get to know her". I've got my "protection" and pretty soon I'll snap the rubber gloves.

Iphoto told me to restore from back up due to corrupt file. When I restore it, it gets all the way to the end and then it tells me it needs to be restored. HELP!

So my iPhoto told me to restore my library from a backup due to a problem with the file. First, there wasn't enough space so I deleted all kinds of stuff. I restored it again last night. After the restore I have 52 GB left of space. The library is 71 GB. I opened iphoto and it says there are inconsistencies and it needs to repair. It is doing the repair now. What usually happens is that it does the repair and then starts the rebuild thumbnail part and gets to the very end of that before failing

When space get's that low, you won't be able to download a movie. Delete things from your iPad you don't use or need. Memory hogs are unused apps, pictures, music, videos. Almost anything you take off iPad can be put back on. So delete some things to create enough space.

You can see all the user on your machine, this would lead you in the right direction
copy and paste:
