HT5085 itunes match not available

I paid for itunes match and now I cannot locate it on my iphone. Yes setting is on and  all my music is now gone and I have no music to play now.
Also itunes match does not appear in my icloud. I only have 1 apple ID.
The payment went through OK. How long does itunes match take? It has been 2 days of watching it go through step 1-3 over and over and says at the end I have 1000 songs available in the cloud. I triied a system re-booot and itunes match still repeats steps 1-3.

I got it working by waiting for itunes match to complete, then go to the itunes store on your computer and choose store/ if match set to on then tunr it off.....then on again. Check music on iphone 4.

    Michael is correct.  While iTunes Match has been rolled out in many countries, India certainly is not the only country where it is not yet available.

    I have an iPad and an iPhone both in iCloud and iMatch. The iTunes Match button on my iPad will not stay on and therefore library on iPad is not current. Can someone tell me how to ensure iTunes Match works with my iPad as well.

    It sounds like you may be having some network connectivity issues, which would explain why your Wi-Fi enabled devices are encountering the problems. It may be good to run through the following network troubleshooting articles:

  • IPad/iTunes match not available

    Hi there
    I've recently bought an iPad and have had trouble getting iTunes Match to work with it. My laptop computer has currently got no USB drivers installed so the USB interfaces are useless, and iTunes Match has been the only way I can download and sync music to my iPhone.
    I set up match on the iPad and signed in as normal, but after 4 or 5 hours the cloud loading bar in the music app hadn't moved at all. I read another thread on the forums here which recommended downloading iexplorer and deleting the 'iTunes_Control' folder, but when I connected my iPad to a desktop computer with none of my music on to do so I started getting error messages on the iPad about not being able to use my Match/Apple ID account for 90 days along with a 'transfer' option.
    I was signed into my Apple ID (the same one) on both my iPad and the desktop computer. Can anyone shed any light on what's going on? I wish iTunes Match would just seamlessly open across all my devices once I'm signed in as its advertised to do....

    You should anticipate success if you are using a single Apple Id - though it is not known for iTunes to give the warning with the 90 day period in such a circumstance.
    We need more information to help further.  What hardware and software are you using?  Have the USB drivers been restored on the computer?  Were you trying to Sync with the iPad (iTunes often set to do this automatically when it detects a device connecting)?  Did you restore the iPad?  Are you still experiencing the same issue?  Had the desktop computer been used with a different Apple Id in the past?

    A lot of people are having these problems since the recent software updates to iTunes and the Apple TV.
    You can report the problem here - the more of us that tell Apple about it, the more likely they are to fix it. You could also send a short email headed 'Apple TV update problems' to

  • Fair Warning Itunes match not payable by giftcard  but listed anyway ??

    ok i thnk im stupid
    But i tried to subscribe to imatch and seeing this page i was pleased to see a giftcard option
    i figure 24,99 for a year is not to expensive 
    so i got one giftcard , activated it normally, go ahead and try this page  and to my suprise
    it didn't work ? 
    i figured  well, i did i wrong
    i should have put the code in at that screen to buy itunes match. not activated it first
    so well ok i spend that 25 euro  on music and apps
    and reluctanly bought a other giftcard.
    this time i put in the actvation code into the buy screen
    and hit ok
    To my utter amazement 
    it didn,t  work ?? the money was again on my itunes account but again no itunes match  ???

    Calm down.
    Was all this music on your iPhone backed up to your iTunes library? If so, once the initial scan, match and upload process is finished in iTunes all the music will be available on your iPhone again. Just disable the service on the iPhone until the intial process is done in iTunes.
    Also, as long as you are in a country where iTunes in the Cloud is available you can re-download most past purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US.

    itunes is not available in my country, Georgia. i want to create an account with my credit card(it's Visa Electron) but since itunes is not available here i type vaild informtion in payment information and random adress in billing adress(it's my friends adress who lives there so postal code,adress and everything is matching). when i try to create this account it tells me that card information and billing information don't match. is there a way  to create account with my credit card so i can buy apps?

    If there is no itunes store in your country then you cannot use the itunes store.

  • ITunes match not updating on devices

    Help. Please.
    itunes match not updating. iTunes on computer has appropriate songs/ albums. But on iPhone and ipad changes do not appear. I have tried holding down shift key when turning off iTunes Match, signing out of iTunes Store, then quitting itunes. I then start itunes, sign into store, then turn on iTunes match and it goes through lengthy scanning, hours, and I am left with the matching page showing the three stages of iTunes Match greyed out, with a button offering me to start it again.     i have repeated this process several times, switching off iTunes Match on devices before starting iTunes Match on compute - same problem. I have changed albums while iTunes Match is on, as recommended by apple's webpage.
    please advise on how to update iTunes match so this change on computer also happens on devices. Thank you in advance

    thank you so much. Thank you for your quick reply, sorry I did not respond sooner, but  I wanted to make sure it worked before replying, hence I had to wait for iTunes Match to do its thing.
    You are are a genius Jim, so a big thank you.
    So in a nutshell for all, Jim's solution works for those who have gone over their 25,000 limit by mistake, and are unable to update match, you can with Jim's solution, delete stuff in the iTunes Match cloud and in effect have your original iTunes Match library as you want it.

    I'm guessing you mean the iTunes store.
    What specificaly happens when you try to access the store?  Any errors?
    What do you mean by full factory reset?  Does that mean a restore as new?
    Are you able to access the store via Wi-Fi?

    Dear Michael, good day!
    1. As per your instruction, I turned off iTM.
    Small discrepancy – where are two screens with iTM switch:
    -Settings > iTunes & App Store. 
    -Settings > Music
    I switched OFF in both.
    NB: I turned device to English for convenience.
    2. My next step was Setting > General > Usage – tapped {Music};
    {All music} screen appeared; I swiped it and taped Delete. 
    3. I performed “hard reset” …………………………………..
    4. Switched back On iTM
    5. Taped Music app on Home screen
    iTM has started –  (it took 18 minutes  to completed, 60 mbps Wi-Fi speed )
    Regret to inform… All the same:
    Erase and reset to factory default? Or I did smf wrong?
