I am getting charged for itunes and i dont know why can u help me to find out what thecarges are for
Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you are charged for things you haven't purchased, you can report the problem to the iTunes store.
Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will not be redirected to the report form, in this case use the report a problem option from the invoice that was emailed to you.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by vectors. Are vectors specific to VXWorks? Are you trying to figure out which instrument is causing an interrupt or asserting the trigger? Are you trying to determine which trigger line has been asserted? Please clarify your question and provide more details, I'll try to find an answer for you.

Deauthorize all, then authorize the active computers. -
Do external hard drives mounted on my Mac get backed up by time machine on a time capsule wireless apple external hard disk? How can I see what folders have been actually backed up in the external wireless disk? any help would be appreciated
They can provided you remove them from the Exclude list. Normally, Time Machine does not automatically backup external drives.

If it's an app then does it allow you to make in-app purchases within it ? If it does then you can turn off in-app purchases via Settings > General > Restrictions on your device. -
I have atempted to gift a song to someone. I have been charged for it but it was not received. I tried to re-gift it and was charges a second time but the recipient still has not received it. How can I get the song to her or my money back?
First, have the recipient check any anti-spam filters that may be present on her email account or in any email application to make sure that messages from Apple aren't being blocked. If she is sure that is not the case, go here:

I am taking a class and part of the homework was to use the pattern maker. I searched every drop down menu looking
for something that was removed from the standard install. Eventually I located the plug in and pattern maker is working,
however I am wondering what else was removed.

akI think pattern maker was removed in CS3 from my memory. In CS4 Extract and Contact Sheet were also removed. These are still accessible by installing the plug ins from previous versions
Exactly WHY they are removing these things from the standard install? because there are certain portions of the development staff that are becoming obsessed with what they are calling "bloat'. There was a brief period (Photoshop 6 to 7) when certain "New Features" like Extract and Pattern maker were introduced, looked like some kind of sideline - they honestly were not put together, or thought through very well. So now they are removing them. -

Just what I have been waiting for.
I am no spreadsheet master (I have virtually no Excel experience) but there was a time that I could make the Appleworks do what I wanted. However, it has been a while since I found using tables in Pages was much better for charting the information I was producing.
I also know, as I have read through these discussions, that people are dismayed by the limits of Numbers, however, I think it's important to remember that Apple does listen to its customers. Furthermore, anyone remember iTunes 1.0? Since then it has become groundbreaking for music and entertainment. That said, I am confident the same thing will happen with Numbers. Just keep sending the feedback.
As for me, I think it will handle my needs just fine. I like the crisp look, I like being able to use different fonts and styles in a box, I like the check boxes . . . yet there is so much more for me to learn. It's just what I have been waiting for.I think most of what you hear in here complaint wise is from professionals that access those 10% of functions that 90% of users never use.
Agreed. Unfortunately I work with some of those 10% functions when I bring work home from the office
Numbers is a fantastic effort for the majority of users and will undoubtedly improve. For those of us who used Appleworks where we could and went to Excel for PC compatibility and/or heavier lifting, we now can move work to Numbers.
In the meantime, those of us who use those 10% functions should provide official feedback to Apple using clear and professional language. -

I was downloading some songs when I lost my internet connection. There is no sign that these songs reached my iTunes but i have been charged for these songs anyway. What should I do?
It's possible that the message you got was to update the AirPort Express Base Station's (AX) firmware...and that something might have gone wrong during the upgrade.
Let's start by performing a "factory default" reset on the AX to get it back to it's original "out-of-the-box" condition.
Then, let's set it up to work with your cable modem...
AirPort Express Base Station Setup (AX) w/High-Speed Cable Modem
Modem/Router Power ReCycling (optional)
- Power-off the Cable modem, AX, & computer(s). (Wait at least 30 minutes. If possible, leave the modem off overnight.)
- Power-on the Cable modem; Wait at least 30 minutes.
- Power-on the AX; Wait at least 5 minutes.
- Power-on the computer(s)
Setup the AX
With the network components powered down, set up the AX, using the AirPort Admin Utility, either connect to the AX's wireless network or connect your computer directly (using an Ethernet cable) to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then, try these settings:
AirPort tab
- Base Station Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
- AirPort Network Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
- Create a closed network (unchecked)
- Wireless Security: Not enabled
- Channel: Automatic
- Mode: 802.11b/g Compatible
Internet tab
- Connect Using: Ethernet
- Configure: Using DHCP
- WAN Ethernet Port: Automatic
Network tab
- Distribute IP addresses (checked)
- Share a single IP address (using DHCP & NAT) (enabled)
Do not, at this point, set up any security (i.e., WEP/WPA encryption, closed network, etc.) to first make sure the AX is operating properly. Try to access the Internet wirelessly with your MacBook. If you're successful, go ahead and add any security features you wish.
