I hate iCloud! Why has Apple made it impossible to download my photos?
I don't even understand how this **** Apple email works!
Look! I get a notice that tells me my photos were save in MobileSomething and I can't download them onto my phone. And the message is right, I can't load them onto my phone. I really hate iCloud. Its the worst thing that Apple has come up with.

Because that is how all iOS upgrades are done. The device must first be erased. If you don't like the inconvenience then you are free to do nothing or continue to complain about it. It's your choice.

Why is it that it takes ages to watch a movie bought on the Itunes store, compared to Netflix which is instant? I don't understand this? I can watch a two and a half hour movie on netflix and it'll take maybe a minute to buffer but when I want to watch something I bought on itunes it always takes like six hours to watch a movie about an hour and a half?

I keep getting this error message when I (right-click) on a photo file on my desktop to burn to a CD. I don't understand this code...does anyone? Thanks Ariel**: The disc can’t be burned because an unexpected error occurred (error code 0x80020000).
I tried every obvious solution to this problem with different types of disc (-R; +R; -RW and +RW) and the problem persisted. Then I read about removing a hyphen in picture filenames. I renamed all the images and bingo there were no further problems. Apple should have solved this by now. This error code has been reported for several years and my MacBook Pro is quite new. Anyway, I hope this helps. It does work.

I recently changed my e-mail account. I had to reset my apple I.D. and password. All was fine, now when I attempt to login to install updates it shows my old I.D. I don't understand this because when I go into settings it shows my apple I.D. as my new one
I think what is happening is that you changed the email address for password recovery to the new one - the Appleid (and software "attached" to it) remain irrevokably linked to the id you purchased it with.

I don't understand this program
Hi, I recently bought logic express. Before that I have worked with garageband. But it feels like shifting from 1 st grade mathematics to advanced physics or something. Why can't it be more simple and easy to use? I plugged in my midi-keyboard that worked so nice with garageband, but when I plug it in logic I can't get any sound out from the speakers. I've tried to read about it but the manual is written for people that have worked for 1000 years in a midi-enviroment, and I have just started. What do I have to read to understand all these things? I'm going crazy, and I'm about to buy a midi-interface also, but know I'm afraid that it will take to much of my time to learn this stuff. I thought it was gonna be easier. I've worked with final cut pro for 6 years and I think that is so easy to understand, and how you work with projects and stuff. Video is much more straightforward I guess, but this music stuff is like a jungle. Please help!
power mac g5/macbook pro Mac OS X (10.4.7)I agree with Stootka, I've only been using Logic Express for 2 months and through that book I can easily get around Logic, recording MIDI and Audio.
Just give yourself a little time to get into it, I'm sure in a little while you'll get somewhere very quickly, if you can, get the book and follow the tutorials, it's all written in laman terms and there's nothing too daunting about it. In fact once you're up and running you'll end up finding stuff on your own, that's how it happend to me.
With your MIDI when you press the key is it registering? not with sound, but visually do you see Logic registering the key you press? there's a display at the bottom (usually, it is moveable to suit your own needs) which has the clock on it and the extent of the bars on it, when you press a key it tells you what note/chord your playing. It could be your trying to play your MIDI through the wrong type of channel.

I am moving a character around the stage and when this
character collides with another object (enemy/character), I tell it
to:

When it goes to the first frame of the scene, I tell it load
an external .swf file. When it is finished loading it works and
plays just fine. This is what I have that loads the external .swf
file (it is in a movie clip placed on the stage on the scene

After the external .swf file is done playing, it triggers a
_global variable which, when read, will go back to the scene so the
gamer can move his character around. I also unload the movie. for

Everything works how it is suppose to; however, it will only
work once. So if I were to collide with the character/enemy again,

I don't understand this time machine warning
I recently got a new logic board for my 2006 macbookpro. When I connected my 500Gb seagate drive to which I back up my mac I got this warning. The wording confused me. I'm nervous more so because I have my work, wife, and personal macs backed up using this drive same. I'm concenred whether or not I should reuse backup or create new back up. I fear messing something up with the other backups. Should I just get another drive? Why doesn't it just do what it usually does and never asks me. Thanks, Matt
As you have the Reuse Backup button I believe you no longer need to go through the steps outlined in the links twtwtw posted.
Take a look at Backup fails after Logic Board replacement It appears if you have that Reuse Backup button you're running 10.6 or 10.7 and can click it.
If you're really on 10.4 as your profile says you'll need to go through the steps twtwtw posted. -

Windows 2000You have enabled Disk Usage. When you do this, iTunes warns you that you will need to manually eject your iPod each time you connect it. You manually eject it by using the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the system tray (right next to the clock in the lower-right corner). The icon looks like a green arrow.
To disable Disk Usage, connect your iPod, open iTunes, go to Preferences -> iPod -> Music, and uncheck "Enable disk usage".
And in the future, when posting to any internet forum, please don't type with all caps. It comes across as yelling. -
Callable - Future - Executor -- I don't understand this behaviour
Using: future.get(timeout, timeoutUnit) with a timeout of 2 seconds, shouldn't this program take 2 seconds to execute, and not 6 seconds?
It seems that Callable doesn't start the work on submit. (?)

But I thought that the whole point of using Callable and Future was so that Callable would "start the thread and start the calculation" and so that a client - sometime in the future - could access the result. Instead, the implementation is some sort of lazy call: we'll only start calculating when a client needs it. Consequently, I would need to write some "dummy" future.get() in a separate thread immediately after the submit to "force" a calculation start. To me, this mutes to point of having Callable - Future. (?)
