If there is no tray then it's a wifi only or CDMA (verizon), this can also be confirmed in settings-->General-->About if you see an IMEI or MEID number it's WiFi/Cellular, if not it's wifi only

thanksAs long as the indian carriers support the correct frequencies it should. Note, that warranty and service will not be valid outside of the country of purchase, so you would need to return to Malaysia to get it serviced.
Other than that most iPads are unlocked for use with sim cards from any compatible GSM carrier.
Note, that if the carrier you wish to use it on is CDMA, they will likely not activate a device that was not registered to them originally during manufacturing.
I suggest contacting the carrier you wish to use, to make sure they can give you a sim card with service for the iPad. -

Yes you can. All Ipad's are unlocked and can be used any where in the world. Buy the AT&T version which is GSM in other countries

My iPad receives email on the hotel wifi but will not send. The error message reads "user name or password for smpt......is incorrect" but both are correct and unchanged. Restarting iPad did not help.
I did try this too, but when I access my webmail on the iPad, the iPad doesn't allow me to type my message. I am able to enter in the "to" address and the "subject" line, but then the keyboard will not come up for me to type my message. Is there some trick to this? Very frustrating!

I have an iPhone, Ipad and a Laptop. They all are configured to company's exch.I am not able to sync calendar events on iPad made from my computer or iPhone. It works fine when I make an event from iPad, it shows on computer and iPhone but not vice-versa.

Umm I just got this iPhone 5 and cellular data is not working, can't access apps, heck can't even download any and Safari...ummm yeah not happening. I'm with Sprint if that makes any difference.
Are you in an area where there is no coverage?
You can try a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
If that doesn't help, then yOu'll need to contact Sprint again. -
Since last update of Pages, my Pages app in iPad anda iPhone doesn't open, it closes suddenly. I already deleted it and reinstalled, but still not works.

ThanksThis is my problem that has to originate from the update. So glad that I did not purchase a MacBook! Apple products/apps are appearing to be not different from Windows products.
I have deleted and reinstalled from the device and desktop, resets, etc. When I uninstalled and reinstalled while connected to my desktop, the older version of pages was installed. I was able to see all of my files that were saved to the cloud. I was forced to update again to access any of the saved files. Once updated again, I could no longer open pages. It began, to open and abruptly shut down. -

Do you mean that you removed the phone from the 'manage devices' section of your iTunes account ? If you do then that won't stop you being able to purchase items on your phone - you only need to be logged into an account to be able to purchase with it.
If you do mean the 'manage devices' section then you can associate, or re-associate, a device (or computer) by using iTunes Match, or automatic downloads, or redownloading past purchases on it : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 -

SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......

I would suggest restarting the iPad and see if the download resumes.

Hi, this laptop is fairly new, and for some odd reason my built-in speakers have not been working right. They work correctly, however, they do not sound as good as they did normally. There is a noticeable change in the quality, and it sounds distorte
