What is the easiest and fastest way for me to get the iOS 5.1 update for my ipad2? I am non tech savvy and am a new user to apple devices.

If you are already running iOS 5 on your iPad go to Setrings>General>aoftware Update and you can update over the air via WiFi. If you are not running iOS 5 you have to connect the iPad to your computer and update via iTunes.

Any tracks you purchase via your own iTunes Store account are for your personal use, tied to your iTunes Store account, and can't be given to anyone else. If you don't want to gift the tracks to her and can't access her iTunes Store account, the only option other than creating her a completely new iTunes Store account (which will require a new email address for her) is to buy the CDs those tracks are on.

I want to rebuild my g/f's lost itunes as a surprise. What is the easiest and stealthiest way to buy tracks via my macbook for her itunes? To be clear I don't want to buy her vouchers I want to buy the songs myself. I don't have access to her itunes account and to ask would give the game away. I don't want to own or listen to the songs myself but I struggle to think of an approach that doesn't involve some sort of piracy.
She currently has zero tracks having lost them all so the only thing I can think of is starting an entirely new account in her name and filling it and then giving it to her on a hard drive. Is this the best way to go about it?

What is the easiest and faster way to organize my itunes library

I've been building my itunes library for many years and for many reasons this library has become a complete chaos. I have around 50,000 songs, which 10,000 of those I can't locate the file in my hard drive maybe for the following reasons:
- the incomplete transfer of data from my old imac to the new one (besides loosing music files, I lost a ton of pictures and docs)
- the internal hard drive got full and had to delete all the storaged data
- change of location for my backup files. Locations were first the internal hard drive and after that the external 3T hard drive
- unknown computer behavoir. The computer changed the location within the external hard drive
Also, duplicate files that need to be deleted, those are around 2,000 more and less
I thought about just coping all my media files to an external hard drive, clean my itunes account of all those files down to cero and reload the media files into my account making sure all those files are located and stay in only one place.
All of this is time consuming which i don't have and I would like to see if there's a better wayt to organize it either using an external software or any other way I'm nopt aware of.
Any ideas?.......

I like to go via computer first in most cases and then Bluetooth, SD and SIM cards but it is what you can handle and have to work with also. Wish you the best.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Please try the following steps,
1) Visit the My Apple ID website at:
http://appleid.apple.com
2) If the site is not displayed in your preferred language, click the Change Language link in the upper-right corner, type the name of your language in the field that appears, then click the Save button.
3) Click the "Manage your account" link.
4) Type your iTunes Store account name (which is your Apple ID) in the Apple ID field, type your password in the password field, then click the Sign In button.
5) Click "Addresses" in the column on the left. If you have multiple shipping addresses, remove any out-of-date or duplicate addresses by clicking Delete. Also, make sure the state or province field is filled out correctly for each address. To edit an address, click Edit. I have the same problem. Sought to insert a pdf into Apple Mail after editing a form pdf and only the blank form shows. I didn't use Preview to generate the form, just Acrobat. And, the filled in form inserts perfectly into an email when I use Outlook for Mac. Problem only with Apple Mail.

Best and fastest way to export HD Video

What is the best and fastest way to export HD video once I have finished editing it. I shot the footage in 720p30 on an HD camera, now I am just looking for the quickest way to get this out the door, any ideas?

And compressing DVCPRO HD to DVD isn't a quick process. it took me 13 hours for 90 min. With the specs you see below.
But to us, it is worth every minute.
We see a qualitative difference in DVDs whose source is 720/24pn on our component out DVD player to a Fijitsu plasma.
I swear that it is not much different than the original DVCProHD footage out the component of the cam.

Following up on this thread,
I have a new iMac on the way and my current is from 2008, never had a problem but I am sure there are internal issues that I would prefer not to transfer.
I have no issues other then the slowness in certain programs and that is the main reason to buy a new one.
Programs like numbers and pages seem to take a longer time to open after I update to Yosemite.
I only use 272GB of 500 GB, my memory is 4GB and I am upgrading to 8Gb and bought the 4.0 processor.
Question:
Is there a way to manually transfer items or would that be a waste of time in that if there are issues they could be anywhere and would transfer anyway?
