There is no update for your OS X release available.
Whether or not there will be a Java update release for 10.5 or other earlier releases is not known.
Apple customarily provides patches for the current and the immediately-previous OS X release; for 10.7 and 10.6.
Right now, you can disable Java access in Safari and all of your other web browsers (see link below), as this will block the attack from loading and activating within the web browser. Disabling Java in the web browser does mean that you will not be able to use a Java-based web application, but those sites are comparatively rare.
For alternatives, you can look to upgrade your software to 10.6 or potentially to 10.7, if your hardware is supported by these releases. Or migrate to a newer Mac, of course.

Only Apple could hamstring and tie Mac OS to Windows. There isn't any other than whether you can download the drivers into Windows (you can) but Apple puts a block on the installer setup even if your mac does not support it.
Windows 7 needs at least Boot Camp 3.1 and 3.3 is what you should already have. And you are not getting security updates if you don't have at least 10.6.8 as was pointed out. --- you arent using Software Update as you should. And you should backup and clone Mac (and Windows) as well.
You need Mountain Lion to use Boot Camp 5.x which supports Windows 7 & 8 and 64-bit.
I would upgrade to Lion if you can realizing that Rosetta and PowerPC are no longer supported though.

The download file is a .zip file. Double click it to uncompress it.

To sync an iOS 7 device you need to be running iTunes 11.1.1; iTunes 10.6 is way too old and won't work. You need to install iTunes 11.1.1, but to do that you need to be running at least Mac OS X 10.6.8.
So you need to do the following:
1. Upgrade your Mac to at least OS X 10.6.8 (later preferably, but 10.6.8 at the miniumum).
a. Check first to see if your model Mac can be upgraded, check that it has enough RAM and so forth (2GB at the least, more if possible).
b. If you can't upgrade your Mac, or don't want to, then you will have to buy a new Mac with the latest version of OS X (currently 10.8.5, soon to become 10.9) and iTunes 11.1.1
2. Install iTunes 11.1.1 on your newly upgraded Mac.
3. Sync your iOS 7 iPhone with iTunes.
