Your profile says you have OS X version 10.6.8 - iPhoto 9.3 will not work with that OS - you do not tell us what version of iPhoto you have
so once again the actual exact error message and a list of what you have tried and the actual versions of iPhoto and of the OS that you are running would be a big help
Then if I post a question to apple support i need a solution otherways...

Why can't I delete files from networked computer?

I have my iMac G5 networked to a PC. Lately, when I try to delete PC files and directories from the Mac, I keep getting the error message:
"The operation cannot be complete because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items." It will not allow me to move files from the PC directories onto the Mac desktop either.
I have no problem in seeing all of the files from either computer. I can also delete Mac files while working at the PC. I have checked all connections and configurations. Is there anything special that I should check.

Are you using an Admin account to do these things? I get similar messages under those circumstances but when I use a regular account I can perform the edits (as long as I can see the content). I have no idea why this is so - but essentially you are using your OS X's server capabilities that are built into the non-server edition of OS X.

I have a similar problem. When I try to import an .mp3 file into iTunes from a friend's website by dragging it from the website into iTunes library, I get a message saying the URL I used "does not seem to be a valid Podcast URL." Any ideas about what the problem might be, because the song plays fine on the website.

You first need one or more apps on your iPad that support the types of file that you want to copy over to it, the iPad doesn't have a file system link a 'normal' computer, everything has to be stored within an app.
For PDFs there are free apps such as Apple's iBooks app and also Adobe Reader - and paid-for apps such as GoodReader (which also supports read-only of word and excel documents). For documents the options include Apple's Pages app for Word documents, Numbers for Excel spreadsheets and Keynote for Powerpoint. And from third-parties apps such as Documents To Go ('premium' version) and QuickOffice Pro HD. As to how you then get the file to your chosen app will depend upon what the app supports - different apps will have different ways of copying their content to/from a computer e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via your wifi network, email, dropbox etc.
For iBooks, which supports PDFs, you should be able to add the PDFs to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library, and they should go into the Books section of your library. You can then sync them to iBooks by connecting your iPad to your computer and selecting it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you have iTunes on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via control-S), and on the right-hand side use the Books tab to select and sync them to the iBooks app.

Recently my harddrive crashed and i had to rebuild my computer. I retreived most of my files but i cannot find where my iweb files are located. Does anyone know where iweb saves files or how to retreive my domain files from the web (if at all possible)?

Itunes won't import files from my computer c drive

then files on my C drive show up and I select one or several, then click on

Well, there are two reasons I can think of why it's not adding them and you get the red slash-circle.
1) Operating system permissions are not letting you do this. However your profile says XP, and this is more common with Vista and WIndows 7 - permissions suddenly changing with no notice to you. Even ifyou'rethe only user, and using an admin account.
2) The files are mp3 and somehow the headers have gotten damaged/corrupted. Other players (like windows media player) will play them but itunes is too fussy. You can use MP3 Validator to fix the headers. Try it only on ONE file to start.

Importing iWeb files from one computer to another

I have created a new website on my laptop and have my other sites on my desktop and want to transfer the site on my laptop to my desktop. I don't see where we can import files from one computer's files to another computer's files. Is there a way to do this?

You can copy the domain.sites2 file from the User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder on your laptop to the Desktop of your desktop Mac, rename it to something like "site name.sites2", and put it in the iWeb folder with your other domain.sites2 file.
If you want to merge the sites in the two domain files into one new domain file you can do so with iWebSites.

iTunes will only import music from your phone that was purchased from the iTunes store. To transfer music from other sources you have to use 3rd party software, such as PhoneView.

I can't get Premier Elements 10 to import an AVI file from my computer.

I just bought Adobe Premier 10 two days ago, and I'm trying to import an AVI file from my computer. It says Add Media Failure. This type of file is not supported or the required codec is not installed. In review of your suggestions, I cannot see where these would be the answer. While I do use 2 computers, both have identical OS, APE-10, and Quicktime versions as well as camera software/drivers. I have not updated the camera firmware in some time, so I do not think this can be the issue, besides I have used both computers in the past few weeks, with no issues, until just recently. Perhaps it was a Win7 update that messed it up?
However, while waiting for a forum response, I did some further research and found a codec pack (windows.7.codec.pack v.4.03) on CNET. The description sounded exactly like the issues I am having so I downloaded and installed it. (I also converted the original AVI files to MPEG-2, just in case).
After the codec pack install, the AVI files loaded into APE and showed with no issues.
I have not yet tried the MOV files as they were not mentioned in the codec pack info, other than; 'and many more'. (one issue at a time!) I did download and installed the latest QT app (but it was the same version I had) so maybe there was something corrupt in the original. We shall see!
I cannot try it now as I am presently rendering the video, but if I still cannot load the full video MOV files, other than audio only, as old Arnie would say, "I'll be back!" (according to the APE estimate, about 1:12.

How can I copy mp3 files from my Itunes library to an SD card for use in a non-apple phone? I can physically copy the tunes as mp3's but the phone does not seem to be able to play all of them. Do I need to copy an entire album or can I just pick & choose individual songs? The phone is question is an LG running who knows what for an operating system.

More than likely you've had that encoding turned on when you ripped your music into itunes (it's the default encoder). Therefore your LG phone won't play them.
You need to turn off the AAC format by going to the iTunes menu, Preferences, General (at the top), then clicking the "Import Preferences" button. Change the AAC Encoder to MP3 Encoder. After that you'll have to make MP3 copies of your songs by right clicking them and selecting "Create MP3 Version." You'll get a copy of the song that should transfer to your SD card and have MP3 encoding. Hopefully your phone will play that.

I'm facing an issue, recently I can't autofill music files from my music library into my iphone.. and the strange thing is some music files I have managed to autofill
them to my iphone... I tried to uninstall and install itunes again no use.. I have the latest version
when I do autofill a song to my iphone there is a circle next to the title of the song in the playlist of my iphone in itunes and I can't play it
I tried in the music library in itunes to make an AAC version of the mp3 song then autofill it and it worked some times

if the copy files ... when adding option is checkmarked in iTunes > preferences > advanced, files you transfer via homesharing are copied permanently to the other library.

Are you using Photostream? If yes, then you will be able to see your 1000 most recent photos on your Mac in iPhoto.
All your contacts, calendar events, emails, etc. will still be on your Mac as part of iCloud.
If you didn't import your videos from your iPhone to your Mac, then you've lost them unless you can restore your cloud backup to another iOS device.
