HT5295 Does anyone else have an issue where Video Podcasts always start at 1.5X or 2X speed?

I always have to reset the speed back to normal when I start a podcast.
Every podcast always starts fast. I cannot find any setting that says what speed should be the default.

Issue confirmed.
I tried dialing in five times with each of the following settings:
Connecting on LTE (with no confirmation boop-boop tone that I'm on the 3G Extender): the telecon login worked five out of five times. This is impractical for me as I have wretched LTE signal where I live and it snaps hard over to 1x signal every 2-5 minutes and drops my call. That's why I got an extender!
Connecting on 3G (after a #48 positive confirmation boop-boop tone that I'm on the 3G Extender): telecon login worked zero out of five times. I had stellar 3G signal, but the 'overdialing' DTMF problem was consistent and I was unable to connect to the telecon service.

When I download a podcast directly to my iPhone or iPad and listen to it I expect it to reflect that status when I come home. Instead the podcast downloads again in iTunes and then wonderful joy it changes the status to unplayed and I wind up having to figure out what I've listened to and what I haven't (I listen to a lot of 'em).

I'm not having issues. What have you done to troubleshoot?

Wow! I am sorry to hear that! 100 files is Major. Really 1 file is too much with all the claims being made by Adobe. I have had 2 chat sessions and a 3 hour phone call and still no avail. I have used the creative cloud cleaner I have wiped it from my system re-downloaded several times updated to the latest version. Now I know It isn't just Me. Thank You For Your Valuable Time! OK ADOBE Needs to get on this pronto, we are losing work and the problem is on Mac And PC. Very interesting. If You absolutely must force a sync You must do it online in your creative cloud website:( Hopefully this will be resolved soon. If you have a breakthrough please let me know. Thanks.

The first one, my private home email, works fine. With the other 3, I get the message "Cannot get mail: The connection to the server failed"
All were working fine before the 8.3 upgrade. I did try the old trick of making one minor change on the account and resaving, but that did not change anything. I even deleted my work account and re-entered it from scratch, but again, sadly, no luck. For the time being, I am successfully getting the email via IMAP, but this ***** compared to exchange. Anyone have any idea what is happening or if a fix is in the works?

Well, the one set up on exchange 2k3 is now working fine, although no changes were made on either the iPhone or the exchange side, so that's fun, but it still is throwing errors when connecting to the other 2 exchange accounts. The common elements are that both non-functioning exchange accounts are google apps for business accounts. So is one of the ones that's working, by the way. The settings on both accounts are the same as the one that's working, and both worked fine before the 8.3 upgrade. I have no issue accessing both of these accounts on my ipad which is currently on 8.2.x. If it's not the iphone OS at fault, I'm at a loss as to what it could be.

If you are having issues with Xxx_state issue here_xxX, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close

Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -

If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

If you are having issues with your iPad not staying connected to cellular service, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close
Next, I would try restarting the iPad -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPad as a new device -

If this does not help, please post the make and model of your Wi-Fi router. Maybe there is a way to monitor the connections from the router side.
Even if the iPad2 has a bad Wi-Fi radio or antenna , the chance of you getting another one should be small. Also if you go to an Apple Store, I am sure you will be able to test it before you leave the store.

I went to the Recieved at and It has my number and my email right under neath it but I can not select my Number. My Email is clickable but my number is like a super faded grey not like you can't see it but it is not close to black.

Here's what happens: Go into Settings -> Wi-Fi, and connect to the home network. The connection is made successfully. If you open Safari, yes, you can surf the web via Wi-Fi, not cellular network. After a few seconds, Wi-Fi drops out. But it not only drops out for the phone, all devices connected to the network are kicked off. Then all devices take a few minutes to connect again, like the router resets the connection or something. I don't have anything else in the house that does this when connected to the network -- No, our Android phones don't do this; No, the XBox doesn't do this; No, our old version 1 iPad doesn't do this; No, the various desktop computers running various flavors of Windows don't do this. But whenever the we attempt to connect the iPhone to the house network, the network drops for all devices connected to the network. Anyone else have this issue? I'm thinking about returning this phone and going with Android.

This is known issue with iOS 7. The issue is with iOS 7, wallpaper required filling the screen, so if you try to scale down, it won't work. There are apps in the App Store which have popped up to resize wallpaper for iOS 7.

I'm using imessage and do not want to use sms in some cases. I have the settings turned off so its not supposed to use SMS but it still does anyway. Does anyone else have this issue?

Recently upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 5. I have a problem with imessage and sms. I have some contacts that I don't want to send sms to ever. So I set the "Send As SMS = off" thinking it would not ever send sms(unless I set it to). However, in the middle of imessage conversation with almost a full 3G signal it just sent as SMS. Then back to imessage. Totaly ignored the do no send sms setting.Has anyone else seen this issue? I wish the they would seperate these two apps so they could never cross up. Some people only have data and others have both.

CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.

Does anyone else have an issue with lightning bolt cables prematurely wearing out?

Between me, my wife and my sister in law I have bought 3 iPhone 5's and two of the cables is starting to wear out and the third one is worn out already. Is there a known issue with these cables that causes them to wear out prematurely? We bought two of the phones at launch and one in January. The one we bought in January is the one that wore out first and the launch ones are starting to go bad. We don't use the cables in a way that would cause them to wear faster than usual, for the most part the chargers sit by our night stand waiting to be used at night. My cable is the one that travels the most and is probably in the best condition. Is anyone else having this issue. Is this covered by the warranty?

The cables have either the host iPhone warranty or if purchased separately have a similar 12 months warranty
Take any faulty ones to Apple as long as damage is not user inflicted

MBA 2013 Powering Off By Itself. Does anyone else have this issue?

A few minutes after I unboxed my MBA mid 2013 and started setting it up the machine started shutting down by itself. It wont let me restore, reinstall OSX or anything because it shuts itself down before it can complete the process with 90%+ battery remaining. Going to get it looked at today.
I'm pretty bummed out because I wanted to take this to a conference next week in CA instead of my elderly 2010 MBP.
Any idea what might be causing it? Has anyone else seen this behavior on the new MBA?

It sounds like its over heating to me, leave it switched off for half an hour and try to confirm in istatspro (dashboard) that the exhaust fan is running.
They'll probably just swap it stright out for you.

Does anyone else have an issue downloading movies to their iPad?

I have tried to download a few movies or rent movies to my new iPad, but have been unsuccessful. I appear to be charged, the movie begins to download...then completely disappears from my download or purchased section, and I can not find it anywhere. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this issue?

Haven't heard of that, but I would take it to your local apple store and get them to exhange that for a new one. Unless there's some obvious signs of damage, it sounds like a manufacturer's defect.

Does anyone else have an issue with the iPad loosing wifi connectivity?

My 6 month old 64 gig iPad keeps loosing WiFi connectivity. This is a problem since I need it for work to test live video streams. I keep having to back out and reconnect from the systems panel. This happens when I shift posting even an inch while sitting down or moving from room to room at home. I have strong connectivity both at home and at work. There isn't an issue on any of my other devices and a co worker of mine has the same exact iPad, and he is having the exact same problem. Is there a fix?

Go to Settings>General>Reset then select "Reset Network Settings". the device will shut down and reboot. while that is rebooting, unplug the router, count to 10 plug it back in. wait for the network to appear in wifi accounts, and you're good as gold.
but make sure you know your wifi password or you wont be able to access it.

Mouse and keyboard stop working ocassionally and I have to re-boot the computer. does anyone else have this issue?

I have a pwoer Mac with a dual quad processor and current os. If I turn off the computer at night and power up the next day my wireless mouse and keyboard do not work nor does my hardwired mouse. I have to hold the power button to re-boot the computer to get it to work.

Open console in Applications>Utilities, check the system log for the date/time of the last problem & the Startup right after that for clues.
And/or...
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...
