Try going to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I bought this very nice iMac. The first time I ever use a Apple product. Can someone please tell me where the delete key is on the keyboard. I cannot think for one moment that Apple did not provide for such a key. Please help.
The delete key does a backward delete because it is the natural way to delete while typing. May not be to you and the millions of youngsters who grew up with windows computers. When you are typing and want to delete that which you just typed you are already at the end and you delete back to where you want to re-type. When you go back to a document and want to delete a selection, you have to go to the end of the selection instead of the beginning. it's just the way its always been done on macs. it takes some getting use to.
If you select text to be deleted with your mouse then the delete key deletes the selected text. same for either delete key method.
It is not convenient when you tab to fields in a form. That why fn-delete does a forward delete.
Macs have a couple of keyboards. The small "wireless keyboard" only has the (backward) delete (fn-delete forward). The larger "Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad" has both a Delete (backwards) key beside the = abd it has the "delete >" key in the groups with fn, home, end, Pg up and Pg dn. This keyboard is best for users who have switched from windows or are familiar with the windows forward delete. -
Hey, My mac book is giving me a flashing question mark on start up. When I hold down the command key to get to system preferences in order to help it find the system software it asks me for a firmware password, that I did not set! I also do not have the start up DVD/disk anymore. Any ideas on how to bypass this?

I have a new iphone and want to purchase ringtones from itunes. Itunes is asking answers for security questions I did not set up and I can't answer them. How do I get past this to be able to purchase. I can purchase songs on my MAC and sync but itunes doesn't give the option to purchase ringtones on the MAC, just the iphone.
If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I reset my phone6+ the other day..now when I put an appointment in calendar 2 appointment show up..the one I entered as well as one in (GMT) that's like way off from what I entered. I know that something just needs to be turned off or deleted, but for the life of me I can't see it ....HELP

Are you just using the Calendar app on your iPhone, or are you working with any other calendar applications? I would first check these settings on your iPhone and your computer:

I tried that already and it doesnt work :s my parents recently got new internet so their old email is the one that is coming uo as my apple ID. but i try and type in the password for even that but it doesnt work because that email is invaled because they got a new one. gets security questions to answer that she never set up, and of course it won't let her purchase anything. She has
a redeemable balance, but can't get past the security questions and can't seem to find another way to circumvent this.
What can she do?If she has trouble with the first advisor, she can always ask to speak to a senior advisor. However, AppleCare isn't really needed in cases like this, as the iTunes Store is quite familiar with accounts of this nature, and it's more of their speciality. Your daughter may want to contact them next time, but it's only email support at the moment (soon to change).

New iPad mini has Passcode that owner did not set
Brand new iPad mini was setup using cloud only, never attached to computer. Now trying to use it again but it's asking for a Passcode. I didn't set a passcode and it's not connected to employer in any way. How to bypass or reset?
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

Is it possible to change the Time app icon so that it shows the current time, like the Calender app icon shows the current date ? Also the Weather app icon, can it be changed to show the current temp? Or is this something requiring feedback to apple?
