You will only have the reset link if you have a rescue email address on your account, if you don't have one (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

The internet is overflowing with tutorials on PSE. Just google what you want and include Photoshop Elements 4 as part of your search term, or go to the library and they may have several different books on PSE 4. For PSE 4, you won't find a mac specific book, but that doesn't matter because the editor is the same on either program. Just substitute Command for Ctrl and Option for Alt in the keystrokes, and ignore anything about the organizer.

That eliminates the previous recipients. If you are talking about the suggestions because there are 10 people with the name 'Steve' in your Contacts, then I do not know how to eliminate those unless you change the name slightly or wait until you type the last name or some other differentiator.

If you migrated your MobileMe account before 1 August you should have signed into System Preferences>iCloud with it, and you would be able to see your calendars, bookmarks and emails on the iCloud website. Is this the case? Did you sign into iCloud with your @me.com address?
If you did not migrate your MobileMe account you can no longer do so.
If you did migrate, did you do so from a full MobileMe account or from a Family Pack sub-account? the latter did not get the complimentary storage (because their iDisks were only 5GB anyway).
If you had a full MobileMe account, check on your Mac - System Preferences>iCloud - and see whether that shows the upgrade. If you are using iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID," and sign in.
With the Name, ID, and Email Address drawer selected, click Edit next to Apple ID and Primary Email Address.
Enter your new email address.
Click on Password and Security;
Answer the security question;
Delete your email from rescue address;
Do logout and login again into manage your apple id;
Go back to Name, id and email address;
Change your primary email address;
Verify your email address.
