HT5312 How do I change answers to the security questions that I have forgotten?
Forgot apple ID security answers to the questions
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

How to retrieve Apple ID Security Questions?
You need to contact Apple, either through the link in that article or by phoning them.

How do I get past forgotton security questions for buying from store. ie What was your first car.
If you have a valid rescue email address, there’ll be a link to send a reset email to it. Use it, wait a few hours, and check the spam filter.
If not, wait for Apple’s office hours and then phone them.
If you’re desperate to make a purchase and have a credit card or unredeemed iTunes Store gift card, make a new Apple ID. iTunes Store credit and previous purchases can’t be transferred between them.

How I know my answer to the security question, How I know my answer to the security question
How I know my answer to the security question, How I know my answer to the security question
Click here for information. If you can't reset them through the method described in that article or by sending yourself a rescue email(the email may take a few hours to arrive), contact the iTunes Store staff via the link in the 'Additional Information' section.
It isn't possible to create a rescue email address without correctly answering two of the questions. Nobody on these boards can reset them for you.

Hi dear sir/Madam i have my apple id & its password but i forgot the answers of the security questions and i have no rescue email pls help me how can i reset the security questions? as i have some credit in my account i can not creat a new apple id.
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Apple ID security issues -
Account security issues almost always require you to speak directly to an Apple representative to securely establish your identity as the account holder. You can set it up so that Apple calls you, either immediately or at a time convenient to you.
1. Go to www.apple.com/support
2. Choose Contact Support and click Contact Us
3. Choose Other Apple ID Topics and choose the appropriate topic for your issue
4. Follow the onscreen instructions -
I want to purchase an app but I am being asked to answer two security questions, unfortunately I cannot remember the answer to one of them, how do I retrieve the answer or change the question?
If you can't remember the answers to the security questions, then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox). -
How do I reset the security questions as I have forgotten them?
When I sign in to iTunes to manage my account, I do not get an option to reset the security questions even though I have an alternate email address added.
I have already temporary locked my once. I'm trying to make a purchase, but do not know the answers to the security questions. But I'm not able to reset them either!
How do I reset the security questions?
Extremely frustrated!Hi mellis,
You cannot reset your own Security Questions. Also, your alternate email address is not the same as a Rescue email address. You will need to contact iTunes Support to get them reset:

There are no words saying to reset security question. I have forgotten my answer to my question.
The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account. If you aren't getting the link then that implies that you don't have one, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions - you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use steps 1to 7 half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use -
HT1918 How to change the security question if I have forgotten the answer
I have forgotten the answer to my security questions, how do I change the questions/answers?
You may contact the iTunes Store Support for assistance:

We spoke to Customer "support" today, as we can't use i-Tunes for a new i-Pod gift for Christmas. The reason this iPod was bought is because he can no longer upload i-Tunes to his old one because it's a Ver. 3 and it demands you upgrade it (which we tried numerous times before getting into one of these chat rooms and discovering that the iPod 3 is not compatible with the upgrade!! Really makes them all a waste of MONEY. Not happy.
Anyway, the "ADVICE" from the Apple "support" guy was to just keep guessing the answers to the questions. WHAT! He never answered them before, they weren't necessary before, so how can he guess the answers, to questions that were non-existent when he originally created his ID??
Does anyone have any advice regarding this, as I think he has already attached his credit (also a gift) to his ORIGINAL ID, so even if he creates a NEW Apple ID, he will lose that Credit. So furstrated right now!I assume that you don't have a rescue email address on your account ? How did you contact support ? You should be able to contact them in your country via this link and they should be able to reset the questions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699

I need to know how to change my security questions cause I have forgotten them and would like to buy an app but cannot cause I need to answer the questions
The page that you’ve posted from has instructions for how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should let you reset them.
If you don't have a rescue email address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
