To my surprise there was no option to click "reset my security questions", what can I do? I have an alternate email provided I just cant find the link to reset the questions!

The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account - an alternate email address is not a rescue email address, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

From what ive looked up on, the only way you can reset your security questions is by using your 'rescue email' thingy. But if you dont have the set up, then you just have to contact apple support.

I can not remember my security questions and no longer have access to the email account that i used for my rescue email.
I have a new ipad and can not buy anything on the app store until i can resolve this.

If you can't remember them then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
