HT5312 I cannot recover a lost password with an other Apple Id and my phone is stuck with the icloud ID from that one.
I have two Apple Ids. My first iphone was set with the icloud id that I don't use anymore.
I cannot delete that account because I cannot remember the password.
I tried to reset and the security questions come back incorrect, which they are not,
and when I ask for email reset, it won't send me the email.
I have a different appleID that I am now using, unfortunately my phone is stuck
on the old one.
I don't know what to do.
No responds from apple support? I have the same issue too, apple CEO are there to count our money. Customer service are paid to do their dirty job, and yet they ignore us. They created this forum site just for us users to solve their problem.

Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID. -

Did you install it yourself are somebody else for you?
If you installed them yourself, but do not remember which AppleID you used, try all AppleIDs you might have used in turn.
If somene else set up your Mac for you, ask the person to reinstall it. If you bought the mac second hand, the previous owner needs to contact Apple to transfer the iLife apps. If that is not possible, delete the apps that you cannot update and buy them using your AppleID. -

Hi If you use a new Apple ID when setting up new iPhone Any music or Apps you have paid for will be lost. If you want to use your Apple ID that you have go to apple/support/id/apple.com. Cheers Brian

I have an iphone 4 which is currently synced with a non apple laptop and I wish to sync it with my new imac. I have just backed the phone up on my laptop but am not sure what I need to do now. I do not want to loose any contacts, emails or photos from my phone when I change sync computers. Can anyone assist with a step by step guide as to how to achieve this oucome? Thanks in advance.

Open Sysem Preferences from your Apple () menu top left in your screen then select the Firewall tab.
Make sure the Firewall is turned off. -

If you are referring the Master Password that can be set in System Preferences>Security>FileVault, then see this thread:

As explained there, and for obvious security reasons, a new master password created in this fashion way will not unlock any pre-existing FileVault accounts. Resetting the master password is therefore only useful after you turn off FileVault in all existing accounts. You can then turn FileVault back on after the new master password is in place. -

I was prompted for a password but she could not remember what her password was since she has not installed anything for a while.
I thought it was kind of careless of her not to write it down but I did not give her a speech about it.

Click Restart at the login window
While the computer is restarting, hold down "Command-S" until you see text scrolling through the window. This boots the computer into single user mode.
At the Localhost% prompt type:
/sbin/mount -uw /
/sbin/SystemStarter
You will then see various services starting up.
When the Localhost% prompt reappears, type:
passwd root
It will then ask you to type the new root password twice, so do so.
After entering the new password, type:
reboot
At the login window, enter username root wih the new password. Once you are connected, you can use the Multiple Users application (/Applications/Utilities) to change your normal user's password, or create a new user account.

I can't sign out of iCloud on my iPhone 4 because I have the locator turned on for my phone and don't know the old password for my old Apple ID. I've tried all of the suggestions seen on here and the Apple ID site and cannot delete the cloud. Help?

I've changed my Apple ID password and when I go to the Apple ID link the changes have been emailed and are all verified. However, when I try to do something with an App or iTunes etc on my iPhone 5 it still comes up with my old Apple ID and asks me for the password and I don't have the option to overtyped the Sppld ID section with the new email I've set. I can't update Apps or buy Apps because of this. Any ideas?
ThanksSign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

Last year my daughter received an iPod for her birthday. I sat it up using my Apple ID and password that I use with my iPhone. For Christmas she got an iPad mini and it was sat up this time with her own Apple ID and password. Just wondering if there is any way to transfer or sync the apps and music that she has on her iPod to her iPad even though they have different apple IDs and passwords?

I downloaded music to my iphone and when I went to go sync it up to itunes, I lost all of the songs purchased from that time until the previous time I backed it up. How do I recover these purchased songs that have been lost?
All of your music should be in itunes on your computer.
