HT5312 I didn't understand how to reset my security question
Help me please!!
If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you never set up a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Questions' or 'iTunes Store account security' (it appears to vary by country) and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox).
Or you could see if the second half of Kappy's reply in this thread helps : https://discussions.apple.com/message/20357006#20357006

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. hi
how to reset my Security Question, i will try many times but i cann't please help me for thatWhat have you tried many times ? If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

How to reset my security question(s); I am still not clear on the explanation given
I may not be making myself clear on what I have done;
Initially, I went through the steps to answer the security questions; I was only able to answer one, then I reached the maximum amount of attempts for the second question.
I then tried the steps; to the page to click on 'manage my id'; then I signed back in and clicked on the line on the left side of page that reads "password and secuirty"; which then states; "We apologize, but we were unable to verify your account information with the answers you provided to our security questions - You have made too many attempts to answer these questions. So, for security reasons, you will not be able to reset password for the next eight hours".
The thing is, I am not and was not trying to reset my password, only the security questions - for the past 2 - 3 hours I have been trying this.
I have also tried to get phone assistance and I keep getting e-mails that Apple has tried to call - no one has called my number, I have been sitting by the phone for the pastg 3+ hours . . . .
I am not sure what else to do at this point.

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

HT5312 I cannot receive an email to reset my security questions
Hi
I have tried many times to ask for sending an email to reset my security questions from last night till now.
But I still have not received an email about how to reset my security questions.
I am sure that my rescue email is correct.
What can I do now?????
Please help me!!
Thank you!!!http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you established a rescue email address, there will be a link on the "Passwords & Security" page of id.apple.com. Clicking the link will send the reset to your rescue email address (NOTE: This is not the same address as your Apple ID email)
If there is no link on the page, then you didn't establish a rescue email address. Contact AppleCare at 800.694.7466, and ask for account security. You will need to answer some questions to verify your identity, AND you will need access to a computer to generate a temporary support pin.

how to reset my security question if i forgot the answers
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.
