If you've posted from that page because you've forgotten the answers to your security questions, then if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then see if the instructions on this user tip helps you get them reset : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

I have intel mac 10.411, want to access iTunes, won't let me unless upgrade tp itunes 10, but it needs OSX 10.5. I just want to download some music, not upgrade my operating system. It's not THAT old. Ideas?
As long as you don't need all the bells and whistles of the iTunes Store such as Ping, and don't need to sync an iOS device running iOS 4.x, then iTunes 9.2.1 should work for you. It should be available via Software Update, but if not, you can still get it here:

but it would be best to upgrade your Mac to Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6, since it's probable that eventually the iTunes Store will no longer support iTunes 9.x.

"Session has timed out. Try again". I just want to buy some music.
I bought a $15.00 itunes card, and tried to redeem it just like I have many times before and for no apparent reason I keep getting the same message over & over: "Your session has timed out. Try again". My Apple Care has expired, however I called, talked to a person, and they said they can't help me. I just want to buy some music... Can anyone help me with this?

SteveI had this problem, but it was because I was clicking on an external link. Try instead going straight into iTunes, then going to the Podcast section. At the bottom of the "Podcast Quick Links" section, there's a text, "Submit a Podcast." Click on this instead. Once I did, I got to the same page as before, but it did process the feed.

I loved the original older operating system that came with my I PAD. Accidently when I was downloading music from my lap top on I tunes, I tunes automatically upgraded my IPAD before downloading the music. I hate this new 7.04 it is horrible. I can not figure out how to clear the icons like with my older version, when I used to hold down the start button thing , I would see the icons, hold my finger down on one of them until an x appeared and then theyall got cleared. Now this does not work, they open the program instead. I hate this new one. Can I go back to the older one I had that I liked so much. Help

Just bought a nano and want to download some of my iTunes library. The "Music" button shows almost all my selections but some albums are missing, yet ONLY those albums appear on the nano icon on my desktop after being dragged there but none of the others. What's happening?
I've read some of the post here that I thought might help but they refer to titles (Music) and triangles in the "Devices" window which are nowhere to be seen when I open the "Devices" window.
I have iTunes 11.0.3 and Mac OS 10.6.8. Does this make a difference?I should mention that, for the first problem, I do make sure that my new tracks are stored in the folder where I told iTunes that my music is in. Also, when I say the cataloging of my library stops short of cataloging all my songs, I have tried leaving the computer unattended for days (my computer's sleep mode is disabled). It always stops before cataloging all of my music regardless of whether I am doing something else while iTunes is cataloging, or if I just let iTunes be the only program that's open during the cataloging process.

Hey Evawantsin, turning off Wi-Fi as suggested by Illaass will do the trick, but how are you connecting to your stereo? If it uses Wi-Fi, then you need to turn the Wi-Fi on for music sessions. If through Bluetooth your fine, or do you use a physical connection like a dock, USB to lighting cable or do you just plug in through the headphone port with a patch cable? Also, you can down load the iPod Touch Users Guide for iOS 8 for free from iTunes. It will answer most questions, or at least point you in a direction. Hope this helps. Good luck, Cheers.

I bought and downloaded some music off of the internet on my laptop that uses Windows 8. How can I get my music to open automatically in my itunes instead of opening in the music app (the orange sqaure with headphones)? Currently I have had to often downloads and sift through all my files to find the ones I want to open into itunes, and it's irritating.
Media is only where the user puts it.
Installing iTunes does not and has never caused media to magically appear on the computer.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer (or backup of the old computer) to the new computer. -
I want to download specific music to my IPad so I can access it off line. I have iOS 8 on my Mac mini and my pad. The artists, albums and playlists I have selected to sync on my Mac mini do not show up on my iPad. I am involved in international volunteer work and have periods where I don't have Internet access.

To manually manage the content, follow these instructions:
Connect the device to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. If your device isn't visible in the upper right corner of the screen, choose Library.
Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos."
Click Apply.
Even when you enable manual management, you can still sync some content automatically. Select the iTunes U, Podcasts, Photos, or Info tab to enable automatic syncing for that content.
Manually add or remove content on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
After following the steps above, you can add individual songs, videos, and playlists from iTunes to your device. To add content to your device:
Select your device.
Click "On this Device."
Then choose "Add to" in the upper right corner.

So recently I synced my iPod Classic 160 GB like I did so many times and when I wanted to play some music afterwards it couldn’t find any files on the iPod anymore. However when you look in the settings it displays that ~roughly 90 GB free space is available. Seen the fact that I had about 60 gigs of music this doesn’t seem like a coincidence and I think my music is still somewhere on the ipod but the HDD isn’t recognizing it anymore.
I’ve tried resetting it, and resetting it to factory settings, which didn’t work. When connected to a desktop it won’t be recognized by iTunes, it displays an error message that the iPod cannot be read and that I have to reset it to factory settings.
I’ve spent some time researching this problem yesterday and I ran into a myriad of vaguely similar problems didn’t really offer any help. Currently I’m thinking that formatting the iPod might work, and restoring the software afterwards. However this is a rather bold strategy so I’d like to consult you here first.

Thank you for the info, with formatting my iPod I managed to connect it to iTunes again.
However..in the page you linked to there is a section about how transferring large amounts of data can dump your library. That seems to be the problem in this case. It won't even allow me to transfer more than 2 gigabytes of music per sync, if I go higher it will dump everything again. Having over >60 GB of music in my library, this is disastrous to say the least.
Do you think that there is any other solution besides the method you mentioned involving Smart Playlists? -
I want to ask you question please i have free apple id because i am still a college boy who doesn't have any of credit visa card and i just want to download beautiful apps on my phone including whats app but they require payment information to complete my request so please help me and please find a solution for this problem because not everyone have credit or master card .

iTunes shows that there are no songs on my iphone but there are 274 songs there. The data storage shows up as "other" on iTunes. I just want to clear the music on my phone but I can't seem to do so. Is there any way to do this? You used to be able to swipe and delete a song straight from your phone but I can't seem to do that anymore.

i logged on to itunes to download some music on to my ipod touch and accidently clicked "do not show me this message again" and the message was for the itune update 10.6.3 now i cant put music off itunes to my ipod touch someone please help me!!!!!!!!

I just want to download the apple tv software on to my pc...however I cant seem to find this anywhere and my laptop doesn't reconsie the apple tv device!!
You can't download it to your PC. The only way is to connect Apple TV to your computer and restore via iTunes (which will load the current firmware).
Make sure you are following the steps exactly (unplug all cables, then connect micro usb cable)
Make sure you are connecting directly to computer, not a keyboard port or USB hub
Try a different cable
Also may want to check any firewall and security software installed on the system. -
