HT5312 I wanted my rescue email to be my primary. YEt when i entered it while editing my primary, I entered it wrong. I can't seem to edit it because it is already my rescue email and the only other email I have is supposedly already linked to my account?

I tunes has made this editing process very difficult and I just wanna know how I can make my rescue email my primary and add a differnt rescue email. What a sticky situation. None of the forums have helped.

Actually not really, remove any emails you have as rescue/recovery. Save the changes, then edit the primary

You can force the phone into recovery mode, & restore it, as described here:

However, if locked with a passcode, I suspect you purchased a stolen phone. If this phone is running iOS 7.0 or higher, you will never be able to use it for anything other than as a paperweight...you wasted your money.

Note that the rescue email address is not on the "Name, ID and Email Address" page -- you need to click on "Password and Security" on the left side. Even after you do that, it may or may not be available. The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

The way that I understand that it works, is that the photos are not copied into the new albums, instead it just points to the photos - the number of photos on the iPad in Settings > General > About doesn't increase when you create new album so I assume from that that it isn't copying the photo, just pointing to it. So if you delete the photo from the camera roll you will therefore also be deleting all the pointers to it

I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.

Accepting invitations and the reply-to email address

Hi,
Does anyone know how to change the 'reply-to' address for ical invitations. When I send an invitation from my home mac the person I am inviting replies to my work address (which is a PC and I don't want my home invitations going to my work computer). When I get an invitation it is impossible to change the reply to address to ensure it gets sent back to the correct email address. The annoying thing is it doesn't even get sent back to the address it came from.

Hi Dan,
The address it replies to is in on the 'Me' card on my address book but it is not the email address the invitation was sent through SMTP. For my wife and I the replies are sent to our work addresses which are both configured on Windows PC's. Hers is an exchange address and mine Lotus Notes.
The whole thing is very frustrating, I send the invitation from my 'Home' calendar from my .mac account but her acceptances all show up on my work Lotus Notes email account which doesn't have the original invitation in the calendar.
The invites get sent from .mac but the acceptances go back to a totally different address.
The only work around I have found is to take Mail offline open the acceptance in the OutBox and change the address in the To field which is annoying.

Please let me know if you have tried converting any other PDF to word with Reader.
Alos, please sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials. Click on 'ExportPDF' tab and upload the PDF that you want to convert to Word.
