HT5312 Is it just me or does this not actually tell you how to reset our security questions
After you have setup a rescue e-mail, how do you reset your security questions?
It's as described on that page, you will get an option to send reset info to it. But it's more likely that you've added an alternate email address to your account, which is a different address/setting - to add a rescue email address you need to answer 2 of your security questions.
See if the instructions on this user tip help you reset them : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

Does anyone know how to reset my security questions?
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

My Apple ID asks for answers to security questions which I never input. I have searched how to reset my security questions and have found that the option below where your answers are to be input to reset questions does not exist on my iPhone 5c

how to reset my security question and answer i have try everything but can't get it don?
WHat have you tried ?
If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then see if this user tip helps : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then try Apple ID Account Security
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 -
How to reset my security question(s); I am still not clear on the explanation given
I may not be making myself clear on what I have done;
Initially, I went through the steps to answer the security questions; I was only able to answer one, then I reached the maximum amount of attempts for the second question.
I then tried the steps; to the page to click on 'manage my id'; then I signed back in and clicked on the line on the left side of page that reads "password and secuirty"; which then states; "We apologize, but we were unable to verify your account information with the answers you provided to our security questions - You have made too many attempts to answer these questions. So, for security reasons, you will not be able to reset password for the next eight hours".
The thing is, I am not and was not trying to reset my password, only the security questions - for the past 2 - 3 hours I have been trying this.
I have also tried to get phone assistance and I keep getting e-mails that Apple has tried to call - no one has called my number, I have been sitting by the phone for the pastg 3+ hours . . . .
I am not sure what else to do at this point.

Hey all,
So, does anyone here know how I can reset my security questions? I do have a rescue email address just so you all know. You are sure that it's a rescue email address and not an alternate email address ? They are different settings/addresses on your account. HT5312 how to reset my security question as I cannot remember any ?
Hi,
I want to change my security question as I cannot recall them but when I am log in I cannot reset them unless I know them !!!!!!!!!!!
how can I do reset them in a simple way ?
Thanks
DavidIf you mean that you aren't getting the reset link on your account, as described on the HT5312 page th that you posted from, then that will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use -
