HT5312 Security Questions Problem.

I would like to know why the link '' send security info'' to reset my questions is not appearing since I already have 2 rescue emails, thank you.

If you have 2 addresses set up, and the option to send reset info isn't appearing, then I assume that they are alternate email addresses, which are not the same thing as a rescue email address - they are different addresses / settings on your account.
See if the instructions on this user tip for getting the questions reset helps : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551

how can i reset my security question  i forgot the questions and aswers plz help

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

  • HT5312 Security question forgotten

Hi,I want to buy some apps today.
While I was ready to purchase , the store ask me to answer my security questions.
But I had already forgot my answer !
Now I can't purchase any app, help ! Thanks!

The page that you posted from has instructions for how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should give you a reset link.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

  • I've run into a security question problem

I made my Apple ID when I got my first iPod(2nd Gen) and I was around 8-10. Since then I've gotten an iPad 2 and iPod 5. I have gotten a couple of devices between this timeframe but have never run into this problem. I cannot remember my Security questions, I have never been asked to put them in until now. Like I said I made this Apple ID a long time ago and have forgotten the answers to them. Also I do not have a recovery email set, I saw that you can call apple but that would be weird as I am 15. Any advice?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • HT5312 security questions reset

cant get security questions reset, apple verified via email, still can purchase in itunes store.

What do you mean that you can't get them reset ? Do you mean that you aren't getting the reset link on your account (if you aren't then you don't have a rescue email address) or that you aren't receiving the reset email to that account ?
If you aren't getting the reset link then you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions), or you have one but aren't receiving the reset email to it (you've checked the spam folder on that account and tried clicking the reset link again?), then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

Can anyone help - I seem to have forgotten my password - although I was sure it was right. However, when it asked for my security question - and I really really do know the answer to that, it tells me I'm wrong. I tried it capitalised and all lower case, but no joy. Cant get out of this loop, and cant move forward ie another security question. Any ideas anyone? Ktkaren

  • Solution needed - Security questions problem

I got my Mac in August, with a gift card for $100. However, I was unable to buy anything because I didn't know my security question answers. I tried changing them online, but they never changed. And now I can't change them because I'm locked out of that feature of the site because I don't know my answers and when I try to have the reset information sent to me alternate email, I never recieve it; I may or may not have made a typo in the email if that's the case.
Anyone know how this issue can be fixed?

  • Security questions problem

    hello,
I forgot my security answers in app store and they sent E-mail to reset question, but i didn't receive any E-mail form them.
Please can anybody help me to reset my security answers ..?
    Thank you..

    Hello there, maxmelyanos.
The following Knowledge Base article provides some great recommendations for issues when forgetting security questions:
Apple ID: All about Apple ID security questions
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5665
    Particularly:
What should I do if I don't remember the answers to my Apple ID security questions?
Try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you are not sure you remember the answers to your security questions.
If you are confident you can't remember them, try one of the following:
If you have three security questions and a rescue email address
sign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to send an email to your rescue email address to reset your security questions and answers.
If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID passwordsign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to reset your security question.
If you have one security question, but don't remember your Apple ID password
contact Apple Support for assistance. Learn more about creating a temporary support PIN to help Apple confirm your identity when you contact Apple Support.
Note: If you have forgotten your password and answer your security questions incorrectly too many times in a row, you will be unable to try to answer your security questions for a period of time. During that time you will not be able to reset your password and will not have access to your account.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • Security question problem

    Hi guys,
i bought a new iPad today, and when i try to buy something from the app store it askes me for 3 security questions and answers.
i cannot use the 3rd question fiewld - it brings up no options. any ideas?
the box is clickable, goes blue but no drop-down appears. i cannot ignore it an continue. i have tried a factory reset and no joy

I cannot explain why you are not able to answer the questions on your iPad.
Try this: on a computer, go to http://appleid.apple.com and select "Manage your account". Log in with your Apple ID and password, then select Password and Security from the left column. You will be able to choose your security questions and provide the answers there.
While you are there, add a "rescue email address" that can be used in the event you forget the answers to the questions you choose. The address must be different than your Apple ID and cannot be one of your additional email addresses you already used with an Apple ID.
