  • How can you configure mail settings in process chains?

    HI Experts,
    please let me know how can you configure mail settings in process chains?

    Dear Suman,
    To initiate the mails we first need to have SMTP connection. To check the same go to so00 and try sending mails to ur ID. If is successful it states that u have the SMTP access.
    To create mails to Process chains:
    Right Click on the Process varient select the Create Message in the context menu.
    Select the type of mail i.e for successful, Error, Anyways.
    Then follow the screens.
    Note: The recipient type should be Via Internet.
    Hope this helps u.
    Regards,
    Kishore.Pulla

  • Can't setup MAIL account on iMac no IMAP server

    Can't setup MAIL account on iMac no IMAP server. Says I have wrong SMTP server. I"m using a iMac version 10.9.4.  MavericksHere is an example for you. I'm trying to set up Time Warner Cable mail account. I have Gmail, iCLoud and Yahoo mail. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Try setting it up with these servers: https://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/faqs/faqs-internet/e -mailacco/incoming-outgoing-server-addresses.html
    You can edit the SMTP server by choosing Edit SMTP server list from the popup menu (Outgoing Mail server).

  • ICloud can't configure calander

    Ok, so i installed iCloud configuration screen, and i have a little problem with it.
    Mail, Contact, photostream and bookmarks work all fine. They synch like they should.
    But my calendar and tasks however... when i try to let iCloud configure that, it comes with the error:
    "Restart outlook with Mail enabled before you can enable Calendar and Tasks or Contacts. You have to add your iCloud Mail-account before Calendar and Tasks or Contacts can be configurated."
    Well, that wouldn't have been such a problem, if mail wasn't allready configurated.
    Anyone got an idea how i can fix this?

    (Win 7 x64, Outlook 2010) (iPhone 3Gs: iOS 5)
    I did this three or four times and I finally got it to work. Thanks KeiichiroNL for the fix. I also, "repaired" all Apple programs on my computer by going to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > and then right clicked and repaired the Apple programs. Might not have been necessary but considering how much trouble I had initially downloading iOS 5 it didn't hurt. Has anyone had any trouble since they did this fix? My iCloud worked fine last week and then it crapped out a few days later. I'm wondering if these "fixes" really aren't a problem on our computers or phones but on Apple servers. Because Mac users running Lion are also having problems. Just a thought. Again thanks for the help everyone.

  • How can I configure Mail for pop servers when it wants to make it an IMAP account?

    When starting Mail for the first time, I enter my account credentials and Mail sets it up as an IMAP account.  For the past several years, I've needed to configure the pop server settings for this account on different devices.  The IMAP configuration Mail came up with won't work.  How can

    The way of setting up Mail for different account types is to:
    Open Preferences
    Click Accounts
    Click +
    Enter username and password, then hold down the option key when clicking Continue.

  • Can no longer send or receive iCloud account messages in Mail on my iMac

    Simply that: On July 14, I hadn't been in Preferences or Settings, but Mail suddenly ceased to be connectable. No sending or receiving since then. While I can access my iCloud mail through a browser, there are too many negatives to that  method. e.g., I don't like lack of default composing preferences: why should I have to go through the font/size/color/ each time I write an email? But every time Mail does work, it "imports" more than a million messages -- per the Activity Monitor -- though they are certainly not all there (thankfully). I don't think Mail is "all there" since Mavericks. But I don't want to use gmail any longer.
    Would a TimeMachine restore of Mail back to July 13 fix the settings issue as well, or just the doesn't need fixing messages part?
    Is Apple's upcoming Yosemite likely to fix Mail's myriad issues? It seems as if MountainLion was mostly good, but suddenly there was/were Mavericks and several things were not the same. And not in a good way!

    Well, mine now is, oddly enough, but there was a point when it worked again, and before I had a chance to say "hooray" it went out again. I have screen shots of the various account settings windows so I can refer to them if it happens again; I figure I can check the settings and if they have changed themselves -- cause I for sure am not going to change a thing since they are now working -- I can put them back where they were at the time Mail actually worked for my iCloud account.
    Still, what a hassle. And ironic, that I can deal with my gmail account in Mail! But my intent is to switch to iCloud for my mail, since I do not like gmail's lack of sorting options, and some of Google's policies.
    Good luck, Songbird68. Keep me posted and I will do the same--

  • How can i configure mail session

    I am trying to execute the junit test cases.The server will not be running when i execute the junit test cases.Their are some methods which send the mail.The mail session is provided by the server with the help of JNDI configured in server.xml.How can we code and provide this mail session as a JNDI resource.

    I do not know if this is the right solution but in the web application XML configuration file you have to add the mail session reference.
    The file name is xxxx-oc4j-amm.xml where xxxx is the web application name.
    Inside <orion-application> entry you have to put
    <mail-session location="mail/Session" smtp-host="smtp.host.it">
    <property name="mail.transport.protocol" value="smtp"/>
    <property name="mail.smtpo.port" value="25"/>
    </mail-session>
    where smtp.host.it is the IP address or the name of the SMTP server
    I hope to be helpful

  • Where can I configure mail quotas in Lion Server?

    One (minor) problem for me, after upgrading from SnowLeopard Server to Lion Server is the fact, that I can't figure out where to administer the mail quotas. So far I have just managed to find the "Server Admin". Here, under Mail -> Maintenance I can see the quotas and under Mail->Settings->Quotas I can enable quota warnings and edit them. But I can't find a place to configure individual quotas. The quota settings from SnowLeopard server have been migrated and are still in place. But how should I change them. It used to be in WorkgroupManager. But in WorkgroupManager this item is gone.
    Many thanks for your replies.

    Followng up a bit,
    In looking into OD records on my Snow Leopard Server via the Inspector in WGM, I see the following attribute for one of my users for whom I've set a 1024mb mail quota.
    Name:
    MailAttriute
    Value:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <dict>
              <key>kAPOPRequired</key>
              <string>APOPNotRequired</string>
              <key>kAltMailStoreLoc</key>
              <string></string>
              <key>kAttributeVersion</key>
              <string>Apple Mail 1.0</string>
              <key>kAutoForwardValue</key>
              <string></string>
              <key>kIMAPLoginState</key>
              <string>IMAPAllowed</string>
              <key>kMailAccountLocation</key>
              <string>[redacted].[redacted].org</string>
              <key>kMailAccountState</key>
              <string>Enabled</string>
              <key>kPOP3LoginState</key>
              <string>POP3Allowed</string>
              <key>kUserDiskQuota</key>
              <string>1024</string>
    </dict>
    I'm wondering if manually entering this attribute, and an XML value with at least the kUserDiskQuota key included will be all I need to do to implement per-user quotas in Lion Server.
    If I get time, I will test and report back.

  • ICloud not showing sent mail from my iMac

    Hi all, if I go to iCloud mail and send an email the recipient receives it. However it doesn't show up in my iCloud sent mail. There is sent mail present but that looks to be just emails sent from my BB or iPad. While researching this issue I found this : https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3390316 So I went to Mail and yes that "store sent mail on server" was not checked. I then checked it as implied in the above link, but the sent emails still do not show up. Could anyone advise please? TIA, Terry.

    I am currently running Mail.app on ML.
    My Mail.app and iCloud webmail settings were already congruent with those recommended regarding saving a copy of the Sent emails [Store sent mail upon the iCloud server].
    Despite this being the case, I have found that Sent messages were not been getting saved reliably in Mail.app or upon the iCloud webmail interface.
    Some did get saved though - rather odd.
    I don't want to call my reported email problem as fixed but it seems hardly coincidental to me that once I had chosen to unflag Store deleted messages [Trash section] upon the iCloud mail server that such messages as were sent form my two iCloud addresses messages began to be saved reliably.
    Surely this is indicative of some underlying misconfiguration with the iCloud server itself as Trash messages clearly aren't Sent messages and yet messages only began to be reliably saved once I had chosen to unflag Store deleted messages. As previously stated, I already had my mailbox behaviours set to Store Sent messages upon the iCloud server, but this proved to be of no avail until I chose to unflag Store deleted messages.
    See attached picture for Mailbox Behaviours.

  • HT2500 how can I synch mail between an iMac and Macbook Air?

    I have a Macbook Air running10.7.4 and an iMac running similar.  I use Mail as local tool for my hotmail account but this means inevitably that mail is nt synched between the iMac and MBA.  I want to be able to access my mail from both computers but only do so nce.  I would love to be able to synch mail folders between the two so that I could keep my mail in order.  Only having to read/delete once would be a further benefit

    set it up as an IMAP account instead of POP. IMAP syn with server (which also means other devices using that mail sync too) where as POP doesn't modify what's on the server. most hotmail accounts setup by default as POP

    If you are referring to adding a secondary account, to a single device, then you can do this at system preferences >mail, contacts & calendars.

  • How can I configure iCloud so it doesn't restore deleted or moved emails on my Mac?

    I moved to iCloud, and so far it looks like everything is where it's supposed to be. My question is about syncing. When I delete an email on my Mac, iCloud restores it. How can I configure iCloud so that changes I make on my Mac and my iPhone stay changed?

    On the Mac in System Preferences > iCloud
    Make sure Mail & Notes is selected.
    ON the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
    Make sure Mail is switched on.
    And try restarting your Mac and iPhone.
