HT5361 notes on my mac, can't seem to find them unless I log into iCloud. how do I configure to go directly to notes

Cant seem to find notes on my mac as they used to be in mail... Updated to latest version of Mac OS and Ipad is current (its a 1st generation), and updated Iphone to OS 7...(worst mistake I ever made...has Apple lost its mind). Back to the real question..How do I configure mac to view notes? Appreciate the help.

Turn off iCloud completely

On your Windows computer, open the iCloud Control Panel, then click Sign Out.

I have a video clip in Theatre that plays fine, but I can't find the folder and when I try to save it as a file or share it, it brings up a wrong clip. Where would that file be located if it is showing up in my Theatre library. I've tried searching for it based on it's file name but my mac can't seem to find it anywhere.

It comes as part of iLife box set. Apple retired iDVD for reasons only they know. You won't find it as a stand-alone product on apple's website. If you do get the box set, only install iDVD. The versions on iPhoto, Garage Band are old.

If the Library folder is not shown in your login directory, then open a Finder window, and press command+J. This will open a Finder View Options panel. On it, there is a selectable entry to Show Library Folder. Once this is selected, the Library folder will appear. Now, follow the instructions in my May 6 post. You will have to right-click on com.apple.iWork.Pages and choose Show Package Contents, before continuing.

Or you can clone your hard drive if you want. To clone your current hard drive I like the free application Carbon Copy Cloner. It makes a bootable copy of everything on your hard drive http://www.bombich.com/index.html You'll need a cheap SATA external hard drive case. Put the new drive in the case then partition and format the new drive and clone your old drive to the new one. Then replace your old hard drive with the new one.

I uploaded 140 pics from my camera's card, but I can't seem to find them in Finder. Have they gone to iCloud, and how do I stop any future uploads going to iCloud?.

I'm concerned mainly with wondering where thy have gone, as I can't find them in Pictures in Finder, but also with thr possibility of going over my free iCloud storage limit of 5Gb. Everything in the finder for Pictures is greyed out with a number of items having coloured tags which are also 'paled out'.

i have looged into my icloud and mobileme from a friends computer and i am not sure that i can see if that machine has logged in since then...

What are the system requirements? I can't seem to find them on the site.

Why can't I use my Apple ID to log into icloud?

It keeps telling me that It's not a valid icloud account even though I downloaded the icloud software. I looked for a specific link to sign up to icloud with, but it keeps me moving in in a circle, back to the home page. Am I missing something?

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session. 
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page. 
Another possibility is to use:

In the Paths panel, click the flyout menu (in the top right of the panel) and choose Make Selection (this option will only be available if you have a path selected). Reduce the Feather Radius to 0 (zero) and click OK. This setting will be the default even when clicking the Load Path as Selection button.

Q # 1. I can't get into My Account - to get into support & any questions! Somehow all my data is messed up, & I've had to change passwords 3 times today every time I'm "rejected" by my account. I seem to have 3 accounts now, each with a different name Password, & Security Questions! & I've been rejected due to: "Incorrect ID name", "Incorrect Password" & because whatever - doesn't" recognize my birth date" / or "my Security question answers" that I chose - all of which I know are correct. 1) Can you Unzip iPhotos, uploaded from a USB or External Drive (after my SL crashed)? The dpi for these old ones is about 250 x 360 (88 KB) compared to 2448 x 3264 (2.6 MB) for recent ones.
- Do you need a program to do this? Some say there's a "free" program, any good? Can unzip be done to many or 1 at a time? Or is there something I haven't found in iPhoto '11, 9.2.1 (Lion)?

Hi Mike, make sure the card has Mac ROM, or is a PC card with Mac ROMs flashed to it...

I was facing issues with both backup and FB integration after the iOs 6 upgrade. Before then I did not have any issues with the iCloud backup service, but after a few days, I noticed that it was continually stuck at the Estimating time for the backup and it never progressed.
As any good techie would, I tackled the most pressing issue first . . . FB integration of course.
I had read in a separate post about this solution so tried it . . .
I deleted the original FB app and hard booted the phone. I then went into settings and entered the data for FB integration. Seconds later, I received a text message to my phone - already listed and verified in FB with a 6 digit code to re-enter instead of my password. Seconds later I was verified and then prompted to download the FB app. All backup and integrated.
Then I went into the iCloud backup, turned it off . . . and deleted the last backup. I then re-enabled backup . . . and although I thought I was going to face the same issue, after a few minutes, it moved on from Estimating time . . . to actually backing up. It is now a small way through the backup and seems to estimate that it will take another two hours to complete.
A good nights work. Backup and integration all sewed up. Good luck.
