Is there anyway to recover my iMessage history from my iPhone to my Mac? Thank you!

HI,
Sorry I should have been clearer.
The only way to move any iMessages from and iPhone to a Mac is at the point when they are using the same Apple ID.
Older items are not included in this "Sync".
Messages on a Mac will read older .ichat files (Saved Chats).
It seems that the iMessages on the iPhone do get stored in any iPhone Backup and that can be used to Restore Messages from one iPhone to another.
People state that there are utilities for extracting the iMessages (either from the current display or the Backups) but I have not read that any will then enable the result to be imported in to Messages.

There are two methods to recover deleted imessages.
    1. Restore them from a previous iTunes or iCloud backup.

Okay, so I had to re-install iTunes. My iTunes library is currently empty. I can make a new back up and the location of the songs not having changed, these will be available in my library?

  • Is there anyway to restore my iMessage history on my new phone from my iMessage on my iMac?

So like i got a new phone today and I forgot to back it up. Luckily I use the imessage app on my iMac. Is there anyway to resotre all of my messages from the iMessage app on my computer?

I've also just found after deleting the app and making room for other content for my daughter, that it is not possible to restore it.
I've contacted Apple support, but all they have said is:
I do certainly understand your situation. However, I am sorry to inform you that the purchases are too old for us to reverse the charges. Our ability to reverse the charges diminishes with time period. I apologize for the inconvenience.
I request you to contact the developer to see if they can retrieve that content that was lost. You can contact them in the link given below:
    http://onthepath.com/support
Thank you for your understanding and patience. Apple appreciates your business.
The link just says the app is unavailable. And I'm sure they do appreciate my business with $100 of lessons purchased and now gone.  The Terms say that once purchased it is the consumer's responsibility to take a backup - I had my back up set to 'iCloud', but it seems that this wasn't 'enough'.
This is surely just plain common sense wrong and poor service from such a global company?  I recognise that App developers come and go, but Apple could at least hold the product available for re-download for previous purchases.

  • My old computer crashed, i have a new computer, is there anyway to transfer the itunes library from my iphone to my new computer?

Help! My old computer crashed, and I have a bunch of music that I don't have on cd any longer, is there anyway to move the library I have on my iPhone now to my new computer I just bought?

Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

As for you own music and contents, you may have to use a third party software to copy over. A good Free one is called Sharepod which you can download from Download.com here:

  • Is there anyway I can get my photos from my iPhone 5 if the screen is broken? the DCIM folder just shows up as empty?

Is there anyway of transfering photos from my iPhone to my PC, Siri works its only the actual screen that doesn't work but as there is a password on my account I cant unlock it so the DCIM folder shows up as empty.
    Thanks all!

No. Not without getting the display replaced first. Many Apple Stores in the US and UK can replace the display on the iPhone 5 or 5c (but not the 5s currently) for $149. Make an appointment at the genius bar.

  • Is there anyway I view my call history from an iPad

Is there a way I view my contacts or call history from a computer

If your carrier provides that information via their website it can be done. I know I can log into my AT&T account and view call history there for all of the phones in my family plan.
Whoops, missed the question about the contacts. Your contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer. That can be done via iTunes or a supported cloud service such as iCloud, G-Mail, etc.

  • Is there anyway to forward a phone message from an iPhone?

Is there any way to forward a message on my iPhone to another iPhone?

In your subject you say "phone message", do you mean a voice mail message?  If that is the case, there is no way to do it from within the iPhone.  There is third party software out there you can download and "extract" voicemail messages, and then forward them.  Try searching the forums for "extract voicemail".

  • Is there anyway to watch my purchased videos from my iPhone/imac to a brand new Samsung smart tv?

We just purchased a Samsung 3D HD Smart TV. My B-friend has a Samsung Galaxy 3 (poor thing) which syncs beautifully with the TV. We are also Amazon Prime customers. So another great syncing capability. I own an iphone 5 and an Imac. so we can never coordinate anything together. However, I am trying to be able to watch one movie in particular that is in my Itunes on both my phone and computer. I would love to watch it on the big HD TV. How do I do this? do I need to purchase an apple tv? or is there some setting I need to enable?
When I plug in the USB/lightning cable to the usb port in the back of the TV it will show all of my photos from the phone. but no videos! or music or anything, Just recognizes photos. I have a third party thing called a pogo but it seems to be more hassle than useful. Any suggestions?
If I purchase an apple TV would that then work in reverse? the free movies I get with my Amazon prime account could I watch on my Iphone? there is an infared dongle (seriously) that will use blue tooth but the phone picked it up one time and by the time I got the TV to pick it up, the connection to the phone was lost and i could not reconnect.

  • Can i recover a deleted download from my iPhone?

can I recover a deleted audiobook from my iphone via itunes?

If you have the audiobook in iTunes on your computer, then you can just sync it back to your iPhone. If, however, this is an audiobook purchased from the iTunes Store and it's not in iTunes or a backup, then it's probably gone. Audiobooks are one of the few items for which redownloading is not available. If you indeed have no backup copy anywhere, then you can go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store and request a redownload. They may well refuse. though.

  • Is there anyway to recover synced over songs?

I bought the new iphone 5 the other day and went to sync my old iphone 4 to my new computer. I received a new laptop because the old one fried... losing all my itunes content. I foolishly thought that if I downloaded itunes onto my new laptop and plugged my old iphone 4 into it... that it would just sync/back up all my music to itunes and my library would be restored.... WRONG. The sharing option was on and it deleted my entire library and replaced it with another member of the house's library. Is there anyway to recover my old itunes songs without having a back up of them? The only music that is in my iphone now is my husbands music that synced accidentally from sharing. Mine is gone.
    Thanks

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer, for just such an occasion.
If for some reason you have failed to backup ( not good), then you can redownload itunes purchases.  You cannot get any other music.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
