How do I use new apple maps (GPS) upgraded in the iOS 6 of my 4S model. It is neither showing me precise location of my whereabouts nor giving me driving directions to the defined locations. I even tried putting very prominent locations near me, but it said maps server not responding. How to solve this problem? can I get the older version of maps?

The Apple Maps app will get better over time. And we will see this with each subsequent iOS upgrade. It will take time. There is nothing we can do, execept wait. Sorry.
Remember, when the original Apple/Google maps came out in the original iPhone, five plus years ago, it was garbage and pretty much unusable.

First, the iPhone would need to be unlocked. That would depend on where you bought it. Next, the North American phone would not work with all of the networks outside of the US. Also, the warranty for the device is only good in the US, so if you have a problem with the phone, you would need to bring it back to the US to an Apple Store. Where did you purchase the phone?

Don't reset anything, just connect it to iTunes. If you don't have iTunes on a computer, then find someone who does, turn off auto sync, then connect your iphone and click 'check for updates'. iTunes will download the update, then update that software to your phone. Before you update though, I'd make a backup, just to be on the safe side.

The car gauge app available from the itunes store utilizes an OBDII Bluetooth adapter, but I can't configure the Bluetooth address. How can I use this app I just installed, it has to have the Bluetooth address configured.

I saw an advertisement in a car magazine for an app that would provide gauge read outs available for download from the app store. So I went to the app store, found the app, downloaded and installed it. I then purchased the Bluetooth OBD hardware adapter required to transmit the data from the car to the phone. The adapter has to be configured for the app to communicate with it. This is an apple approved app. But everything I've read says that apple will not allow iPhone owners to make any adjustments to their Bluetooth addresses. And that iPhone only provides Bluetooth connectivity to basic head sets speakers and audio formats through the car stereos ( but no audio streaming).
Bottom line, apple approved app and hardware that can't be configured unless I perform a jailbreak? I don't want to JB the phone but it seems that apple has left me with no other options. I've already invested time and money on this software and hardware. Their must be a legitimate way to use this apple approved software. Does anyone know how to adjust/configure bluetooth settings/addresses?

Generally, if you have to enter a code for bluetooth, your iPhone will ask you to enter a 4 digit code when pairing. Check the instructions for the device you are trying to pair with your iPhone. The instructions should give you the code in the pairing instructions, if a code is required.

My calendar is blocked since a few days, while I tried to upload a message in an event. In this weekend, i have not been able to get ANYbody at all online, to help me. I am desperate and feel absolutely idiot. Is anybody out there who can help me?.

1. Open iCal - select "preferences" (I cannot select anything!)
2. Select "accounts" (I have no clue what to do there)
3. Re-enter " username and password (Where?)
4. Exit iCal and start again (I did this, but don't get anywhere near a solution).
5. Done (cry, cry, nothing changed for days now and I am about to throw everything out of my window :-))

yes I have an upgraded Iphoto 11 from 9.4.3 ........ unfortunately .... no it didn't solve the problem. Of course my illiteracy is no help ..... but I did as you suggested and nothing changed at all. When I highlight a photo I am unable to minimize it and despite changing folders (ie:photos to events) all that happens is that the events folder opens behind the opened photo. The only solution is to go to "force quit" even though there is no sign to say "iphoto is not responding". and start again ..... very frustrating. Appreciate any suggestion you have ...

HT5295 How can I see the transcript text? It does not show it.

I get podcasts from the RN site. All of them are transcripted for ease to the user to find names and review the contents. The old application showe the text on top of the artwork as a transparency and you could scroll as with any other text. Since the update to iOS6 and to the podcast app I CAN NOT SEE THE TEXT!!! They forgot to add an essential part to podcast; the additional information provided by podcasters! Let me know of alternative ways to access the transcript text. Thanks.

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

Set up the account using a desktop or laptop, then sign
into that account on your iPhone.
I am not aware of any method around the restriction once
the maximum has been created on any individual iPhne.

On the iPad open Settings/iCloud and delete the account using the button at the bottom. Once deleted log in using the other account. For iTunes Stores use Settings/iTunes & Apps Stores, tapp on the Apple ID at the top then sign out. Once done sign in using the other account. Once you are happy with the changes plug your iPad into your computer to update the backup.

You could sign up for iTunes match and use iCloud photo library with optimisation enabled. The later will keep optimised photos on your device and iTunes match will let you access your whole collection and make room for newer content by removing older unplayed items.
