I would guess the fan is the cause of the noise. Suggest you take a look at it.

Problems with the software update and windows vi

I have been looking all over this forum and couldn't find an answer to my question, so I decided to post it myself.
Recently I bought a laptop with windows vista installed on it, and my creative zen vision M 30gb software stopped working. After ignoring this problem for a month, I thought creative might have already came up with a solution. I downloaded this new software package; Creative ZENcast Organizer .04.06 Suite. When I tried to install the software, I received an error, stating that my windows media player wasn't up to date. After double checking my windows media player updates, I concluded that my windows media player was up to date. Still I can't install this new software. Looks like creative is living up to its BAD reputation over and over again. Any help?

so I don't know if what worked for me will work on a lower end machineIt may be a little slower but it will still work. Recursion only causes a problem with resources when you have many levels of recursion. On my system I have:

In this case there is only 4 levels of recursion. This is not going to cause a problem. You would generally only have problems if your recusion routine is not working correctly and you get in an infinite loop which will lead to resource problems and an abend.
In your particular case you aren't even using many resources at all since all you are doing is printing the file name.

In this cause you might have a problem with resources depending on the number of files in the directory. Firefox keeps freezing for around 10 seconds and then continueing. My computer does never ever freeze and has good enough hardware so I suspect there is a problem with the software such as the plugins or anything else around Firefox. What can I do?

I have an I7 processor, 6 GB of RAM and a GTX 460 GPU.
As you see it is not a hardware problem.
It happens quite often on several websites.
I do not use a lot of plugins or addons. Actually, I use none. The only ones I have are the ones the browser requires to display content such as Adobe software, etc.

As a temporary get around, dare I say it? I'm using Google Chrome which doesn't have this glitch in it. Been doing so for a couple of days now and no problems at all. I've gone back to Firefox a few times and the two or three second freeze every 10 or 15 seconds resumes, so I'll maybe check Firefox in a few months and see if there is any improvement. Or maybe, I'll be so used to Chrome by then I won't bother.

MSI Core Center Problem with the software

Just wanted to let you know about a problem i had the other night. You will see my specs below but i recently installed core center and all was running well until 2 nights ago when the pc would start up into windows load up core center and then re-boot. The problem was core center it's self when windows was starting it up for some reason core center decided to overclock my pc i only realised this when i saw a brief glimpse of the CPU speed as core center started it was over 2.6 GHZ no wonder the machine shutdown i eventually got it to boot up and get into core center where i found that this time it was trying to run my machine at a FSB of 215 i reset this back to 200 and the re-booting stopped i decided to just un-install core center to save any further problem.
Have any of you guys had this problem and how many are having a similiar problem but don't realise it thinking it is the cpu or heat related just thought i would let you know about this in case anyone does have a similiar problem

i didn't even install it to tweak or overclock i was only using it to monitor my temps etc. seeing as it came on the installation disk did look at the overclocking features of it but after looking at them i returned to the default settings prefering if and when i try overclocking to do it through the bios. I was surprised as anyone that core center decided it was going to overclock my system on it's own, Maybe it's become self aware LOL
I just put this thread up in case anyone else has it installed and has similiar problems as i did so they can check to see if this is their problem thought it might be helpful as i know lots of people do have problems and find there way here looking for help

ontop of all the typical problems with the software i am having the following issue.everytime i go to update to ed04 it will download the whole way then fail to install.so eventhough the new 05 is out and supposedly fixes everything i can't even update to that.
they seriously should have just given the option over the phone to swap for the charge since my stores in the area were out of them for over a week now.i went in everyday after work and even called other area stores and had no luck.i'm seriously ready to just cancel my service and move on to another provider.i need my phone since i have a side job i do out of my hosue that is just beginning to take off and missing calls is not helping me exapnd.

Try a factory reset, it is a pain, I know, I've done it a couple of times, what do you have to lose at this time. Just backup your contacts and remove your SD card, even though it is not necessary, I still do just for the heck of it.
