When I am dictating on my ipad, I can switch back and forth between languages by clicking the world icon. On the MAC it seems as though I have to go to system preferences and switch language there. That is a little cumbersome, Is there a way of switching on the MAC?

System Preferences/Language & Text/Input Sources - Select the languages you want and then Show Input menu in menu bar. This allows you to switch back and forth from the menu bar.

yes it is very easy...
first of all your phone have to be all paided off.
if your phone is all paid off you can call your carrier (have someone who speaks korean to call) tell them that your moving/visiting your country and you would like your phone to be unlocked. somehow they do this over the phone and it takes three - four days for them to do this.

if your phone is not paid off you can just tell them that your visiting your country and you would like to use your phone there.

Select the Inbox folder to see emails.
click on first email to get focus.
Hold down 'Ctrl' key and press 'A' key
This will highlight /select all emails.
they will appear as conversations in the Message Pane
Clickon Delete.
when it has finished - you do have a lot of emails :)
Right click on Inbox and select 'compact' - this removes all marked as deleted emails.

After removing the "Live Security Platinum" virus, Firefox crashes every time I close it and it runs very slowly (v14.0.1). Is there any way to fix this?

Firefox doesn't exactly crash while I'm using it. The thing is that when I close it and reopen it, it says it crashed and offers to restore the previous session. To my knowledge, this didn't happen until after I had the "Live Security Platinum" virus and removed it. Firefox is also very, very slow. Has anyone else had this particular problem?

Hi there, sorry about your problems. It could be that the virus remover didn't fully clean up Firefox.

Yes, you stop using the same Apple ID under Settings > iCloud.

On the new computer, launch iTunes. From the menu bar click click Store / Authorize This Computer.

Apple is asking me to answer my security questions but I can't remember the answers. Also I would reset them but my rescue email is no longer in use and I cannot even remember what it was. Is there any way to fix this mess?

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

Sorry, there is no way around the Activation Lock. You either need to contact the original owner and get them to turn off Find My iPhone and wipe the phone from their iCloud account, or you need to return it to the seller.

Is there any way to report on Custom Object 3 other than lists?

Looks like the answer is no but just wondering if anyone has come up with a brilliant work around. I guess the only chance is with Web Services, or is Custom Object 3 the red headed step child there as well?
I read in an earlier thread that R15 fix/patch may enable the ablity to report in analytics OD on the Custom Objects, any idea if Custom Object 3 will be included?
I wish the documentation pointed this out somewhere! It would have been nice to know before I created the Objects funtionality!

It is my understanding that the patch will be applied automatically for all customers. The patch will enable reporting on custom Objects 1, 2 & 3 and will have subject areas for Custom Object, Custom Object & Account, Custom Object & Opportunity, Custom Object & Contact, and Custom Object & Service Request.
(That is 5 subject areas per custom object for a total of 15 new subject areas!)

How do I keep from having my titles fade in and out in iMovie 10.0.1? Or is there a way to customize a title at all, other than location, size, and color (such as fade direction, duration, entrance...)?

This is something that I thought came standard with all video editing software and I'm very surprised to not be able to find it in my version of iMovie. All I want to do is create captions that don't fade in and out.

Several posters have asked this and it doesn't appear to be possible in iMovie 10. I guess you would have to create .png stills with the caption and the rest transparent then add them as cutaways.
