How can I go from normally selected rings and fnotifications to 'vibrate only' for all calls and notifications?

Have you tried using the Ring/Silent switch on the upper left side? If it's set to 'orange', I think it only vibrates for almost everything, with a few exceptions.

My old computer died, it was running Windows XP. I've got myself a new computer running Windows 7.
I have a copy of my iTunes folders from my old computer (taken 2 days before it died)
How can I use a new computer without deleting everything on iPod touch?
I've imported all the folders (music, apps etc) into the new computer's iTunes, but when I sync my iPod
I receive a window asking if i want to sync i need to erase and replace with the iTunes library on the computer.
I particularly don't want to do this.
My wife also uses my iTunes for her iPhone.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Make a backup of the iPod by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Backup. Then restore the iPod from that backup and sync as necessary.

How can I sync a new Iphone 4s with an old 10.4.11 OS mac that can't update to the new version of itunes?

I have a Mac OS 10.4.11 that can't update to the newest version of Itunes. It does not recognize my new Iphone 4s. Is there other any way I can sync my phone? Apple support recommended that I update my Itunes from 9.2 to the new version but it won't install.

You cannot use an iPhone 4S with iTunes 9; you must have iTunes 10.5 or later, and that will indeed not run on Mac OS X 10.4. You'll need to upgrade your computer's OS to at least Mac OS X 10.5.8.
If, as Allan requested, you tell us your specific model of Mac, we can tell you what options you would have as regards compatible OS X versions.

Hi. I just got a new iPhone 4S to replace my old iPhone 3GS. For some reason when I tried using setting up my new phone from the backup of m old phone it put a backup of my iPad. (when i was telling the guy at the apple store about my phone being stolen he said when you get a new phone just sync it to retrieve all the information stored on there. Just to make sure - You're saying you had backed up your iPhone 4. When you plug in the 3GS, and try to "restore" the data from the iPhone 4 backup onto the 3GS, you get that error? Check to see if the iOS version is up-to-date, and hopefully it isn't. It might also be because your iPhone 4 wasn't, and is causing some sort of problem.

If you have a laptop or desktop computer download the latest version of iTunes to it. Connect your phone to computer w/ USB cable. Backup phone to iTunes then restore backup to new phone..,, here is how.

Stedman1 is right. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com and follow the prompts for iPhone. That's how you can contact Apple either by phone or by Genius Bar appointment for service or replacement. Your phone has a one-year warranty on it, so none of the 5s are out of warranty yet.
By the way, you don't need to restore as new multiple times. That doesn't do anything different than the first time.
