HT5517 Is there a way to select multiple speakers from my ATV3?

I have ATV3, an iPad2, a Sony Vaio laptop and another audio system connected to my WiFi network via an Airport Express.
Via ATV I can only select one speaker / output at a time (i.e. EITHER Airport Express OR ATV). When I have a party in the house (for example) I'd like to be able to select both to play the same music.
I know you I can select multiple speakers if I fire up the laptop and run iTunes (I then actually use the "Remote" app on the iPad, select my music library as the source and I can select mulitple speakers) but it doesn't seem possible with just ATV. Why not? I can see both outputs on ATV, I just want the option to be able to select both.
If my wife takes the laptop with her somewhere, I can't listen to my music throughout the whole house.
Seems a pretty big oversight - surely it'd be dead easy for Apple to do?

I beleive multi speaker output is strictly a function of iTunes. ATV1 was the hobby or beta environment and was a mix of OSX 10.4 (iTunes) and their developement of iOS. The multi speaker out was not a part of the further or current developement of iOS.
Still have an original atv out in the studio serving up music to the rest of the house... including the new appleTV2 in the living room

To select consecutive images click and drag the cursor over multiple thumbnails to select all at once.
To select multiple images that are randomly located hold down the Command(⌘) key and click on those images you want to select.
Or to select consecutive images from a list of images that are together hold down the Shift key and and click on the first photo you want to select and the on the last photo you want in the list.

Is there NO way to select multiple songs to go into a Music Playlist at once, vs doing it one by one?!

Argh. So irritating how something that should be very simple and intuitive results in useless calls to Sprint (my carrier) and BB. with endless holds, transfers, pasing the buck,and still no results. Then I'm suggested to go to the Forums...you know...where other paying BB customers can try tp provide the IT support that BB apparetnly could care less to do for its paying customers?
Anyway, I want to have multiple playlists in my BB Music so that when I host parties, I can play a particular type of music by selecting one of the playlists. I was able to move songs to my BB but they only seem to move to the general Music Library (All Songs). I was able to create Playlists, but it seems you can only move songs to the Playlist ONE AT A TIME. There is apparently no way to select multiple songs to go to a playlist? No way to move an entire folder of music from my PC to my BB songs, as its own separate sub-folder (i.e., Playlist)?
I know I've been able to do this with other devices in the past.
Otherwise the BB Music Playlist options seems totally pointless.

You can try to delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

Is there a way to select multiple sequences and batch export them using the same settings in CS6?

I am a current Final Cut Pro7 user and looking to switch over to Premiere Pro CS6. We edit approx. 100 short (15 sec.) videos daily, and then select them all at the end of the day and batch export them over night using the same export recipe for all. I have having trouble finding an easy way to do this in Premiere pro CS6, as command +E is grayed out if i select more than one sequence at a time.
so far, it appears that i have to select each video individually and manually set encoding recipe and export location for each.... Not only would this be terribly time consuming, but it leaves a lot of room for error and missed videos. I thought i would be able to send all of the sequences to Adobe Media Encoder, but i dont see that option either.
Any suggestions/

Open Media Encoder and add your Sequences:
File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence
Navigate to your Premiere Project and select it in the list.
You can then select multiple Sequences from the Project (Ctrl+Click)
and load them all at once into Media Encoder and apply
the same encoding preset to all Sequences at the same time.

Currently, I can copy ONE tab's url and nothing else (not its name). Or I can bookmark all tabs that are open. However, I'd like to have the ability to select multiple tabs and then copy ALL of the the URLs AND their titles/or copy ALL of the URLs+titles+HTML links? You should definitely be able to upload multiple files by Shift-clicking or Ctrl-clicking the files you want to upload. Just to make sure you don't have an old version of the service cached, please clear the browser cache and then log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. After clicking the File Upload icon in the upper-right corner, you should be able so select multiple files for upload.

I know,.... I'm still using FCP 7, but since there are no forums for this aaplication anymore, I figured I ask it here.
I want to select multiple clips on the timeline and make them all stereo pair. I pressed "Option L", but that does not work. Is there a way to do this?

Is there a way to select multiple track sections from different tracks and join them to make the chorus on iPhone?

I am currently using the iPhone to record my vocals on top of professional beats, or riddims as they are called in the dancehall world. Is there a way for me to select multipe voice sections from different tracks, copy them and then paste them later in the project. I don't want to record the chorus more than once. Normally what I do is sync the project to my wife MacBook Air and then from there edit it but I would like to avoid this. Also, I use the earpods microphone to record my voice and of course it doesn't come out professional quality but it is decent. Do you recommend a microphone that plugs to the iPhone or should I get an interface? Thanks for the help.

You can either copy and paste single regions or duplicate sections, if you want to copy regions
from different tracks in parallel.

Adjust the length of your sections in a way, that the regions you want to copy from different tracks are together in a section of your song.
Add a copy of a section:
Open the song section controls, choose the section you want to copy, then tap Duplicate.The copy is added after the last section.
Tap Done to close the song section controls.
After copying the section, move the new section to the end of the song:
Change the order of sections:
Open the song section controls, then tap Edit.
Drag a section up or down in the list by the handle on its right edge.
When you are finished, tap Done.
Tap Done to close the song section controls.

Is there a way to select multiple audio tracks and make all of them stereo pair at the same time?

I selected multiple tracks, pressed "option L" but was not able to make multiple clips stereo pair at the same time.

If I remember correctly it is not possible modify a group of selected clips on the timeline with the Stereo Pair command - unless all the selected clips have exactly the same properties - such as being linked to video clips, etc. So you have to manually go through and select the dual mono tracks you want to pair individually or in smaller groups to be able to apply the Stereo Pair command.
If you select a bunch (a couple) of clips, and go to the menu Modify, you will see if Stereo Pair is grayed out or not. If it is grayed out, then you can't apply it to those clips as a group, but you probably will be able to apply it if you make smaller selections of clips.

I'm trying to free up some space on my iPhone by deleting photos. It is taking me forever though because I have to select them one by one to delete them and then do the same thing to permanently delete them. Is there a quicker solution?

I understand that you would like a faster way to delete photos on your iPhone other than selecting each one. One possibility that you may not have considered is importing your Photos to your computer and choosing to delete the items after import. Please reference the attached article for more information.

Is there a way to email multiple files from pages

I want to send multiple files from pages, cover letter and resume, but when I select both files, the share icon goes dull and it can't be selected. Is there a work around for this?

Are you aware that someone without Pages cannot open the files? And that Pages will only run on OS X? Your best bet is do save the files as PDFs, then just drag the icons into your open email.

Doing one variable at a time can be tedious. It's hard to believe there wouldn't be a solution for this.

I agree with tbd that there is rarelynever a reason for ton's of local variables.
Even if you feel you need many, it does not take much time to configure each right after creation and I see little use to globally change many from read to write or vice versa at a later point. An overuse of Local variable tend to make code hard to read and can easily cause race conditions. To make a new local variable, I typically ctrl+drag an existing one (read or write as needed) and "right-click..select item" to assign the desired control/indicator.

Is there any way to print multiple attachments from an Adobe PDF Portfolio without having to open each attachent individually?

We have a large PDF Portfolio with many attachments and would like to print those items all at once without opening every single attachment. I would think think that this is possible considering I took the files from outlook 2003 and you are able to print an email and its attachments in that program. If anyone knows how to do this, I would appreciate the help.

Portfolios only support the printing of PDF files (more specifically, PDF files whose security permissions allow printing). You can print all PDF files in a Portfolio without opening them all simply by opening the Portfolio and clicking on the print button in the Portfolio toolbar. If desired, you can also limit it to a selection of PDF files.
Unfortunately non-PDF files will need to be opened and printed individually from their respective apps.
