HT5538 I can't sign into facetime

I have just created apple id which has been verified and active but when I try to sign into FaceTime on my ipad2 fourth generation it says verifying but it goes back to sign in page. So I have not been able to sign into FaceTime. Any advice?

Can not sign into FaceTime or iMessage on ipad air

For some reason I can not sign into FaceTime or iMessage using my Apple ID anymore. They both used to work, but they just stopped.. Now when I try to sign back in I get a message than an error occurred during sign in. I use two different Apple id's, one just for iCloud and one for everything else.

FaceTime Troubleshoot
1. Make sure you are using the latest software
2. Sign out, reboot and sign in again
3. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
4. Make sure phone number or email address is correct
5. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) until you see the Apple Logo

IOS 5.1 I can't sign into facetime

I updated to IOS 5.1 yesterday. I can't sign into facetime now! I've reset my network settings. While signing into facetime it asks for my sign in and then fails to recognize it. Aaaarrrgh!

My wife just pdated hers with now problems, I'm waiting to update mi children's until the get this fixed. I also cannot connect to YouTube as well. This is bs, looks like others are having problems as well. I might try a restore with mt pc and see is I can get 5.0. back on there. This makes me soooooo mad.

I Have been trying to sign into both iMessage and FaceTime on all my apple devices. And it won't sign into either one of them. I know the password is correct because I am able to use iTunes and iCloud.
but its only with my Apple ID. I signed into FaceTime with my friends account and it worked perfectly fine.

Make sure you back it up. and I would set up facetime before you reinstall your backup and make sure its working.

I got my working with a network reset.

HT1766 since os7 update for ipad, I can't sign into Facetime. I enter username & password & the message I get back is "FaceTime Activation could not sign in. Pls check your network connect". There is nothing wrong with my wifi connect. What's up with this

I have tried just about everything. I've restarted my phone changed my wifi and still nothing. I cant login in to FaceTime. FaceTime works perfect on my laptop but I cant login on my phone. It keeps saying ERROR check your connection, or it will say what would you like people to reach you at? And it would have my phone number and my e-mail address. I will click both and it would make me try to sign in again. What do I do? I've signed in hundreds of times!

My FaceTime was working with no issues at all,but one day I turned my iPod on and went to face time and it asked me to sign up. So I used existing account and signed in with my apple id,and password.It says my password is incorrect.

I had this problem too. As it turns out, when you first sign in to FaceTime, it saves that password. If you have changed your Apple ID account password since the first time you used FaceTime on your device, it will reject that password, even though it is right. Basically, FaceTime thinks it needs the original password. This means that you will have to restore. If you haven't changed your password though, I am not sure.

Can't sign into Facetime.

My facetime works perfectly on my iPhone but when i want to sign in on my mac, it says "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later.". I tried everything but it doesnt work. Thanks for helping.

Grrr!!!!! Finally got this sorted.. This is how I did it:
Went to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> selected my wi-fi connection
Under the DHCP settings, I changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 (googles DNS apparently)
Then went back to Facetime and tried again and it worked!
Now the thing is, if I change it back, will it still work or should I leave it? Net access seems to work with those DNS settings as does my remote so figuring my internal network should be fine since I don't have many internal net related apple products so will leave it for now, just in case.

I put in all the proper login information then it takes me to a screen asking me "People will call you using your email address. What would you like to use?" It gives me the one option of my current email. I check it off hit the next button than it brings me back to the starting screen. What do I do?
