in launchpad i can't open any apps, It seems to have locked or froozen and now i cant do anything is this???

Are you able to open the apps by clicking on them directly on the dock? When you are at the Launch screen, you can press the ESC key to get back to your desktop or open windows. Restarting your computer will most likely resolve this.

Leaving Launchpad
To exit Launchpad, open an app. If you want to exit without opening anything:
Press the Escape (esc) key or Launchpad key on your keyboard.
Click the Launchpad icon, or another app icon in the Dock.
There may be an unresponsive application that is affecting things. If so, you can use the Force Quit command to close it:

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output andWi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

You do NOT need to restore your iPad.
I believe that the problem is that there is a disconnect with your iTunes account and your iPad. What you are experiencing is a somewhat common issue after you sync your iPad, update your device - it could be a number of reasons that are causing it. the recommended fix is to download another app in order to "reconnect" your ID and iTunes account to the iPad.
You can read more about it here. You will need a WiFi internet connection in order to fix it - or you have to be able to sync with your own iTunes library.

If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. Hello, i can't open any apps on my macbook air. when i am attempting it says "you may need to reinstall app but when i am trying to reinstall it doesn't do anything. i can only browse right now. It happened right after when i deleted some files i was trying to uninstall the useless app and i think i accidently deleted some system files. Right now it is letting me to download the app but i cannot install any of the app or even open any application. please help

If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS. You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need your backup unless something goes wrong. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it.

IOS 6 keep asking apple id, and I can't open any app

I'm deploying 30 ipads with profile manager and installing 40 apps in each one. Is so painfull beacuse I need the apps in some folders, and I have to do this all by hand in each one. I'm using an apple id for all the ipads, setting up icloud only for "find my iphone" feature. I wanted to check if all the apps are working correctly in each ipad, and I found a huge problem. In 4 of 10 ipads, all the apps are working, the other 6 are asking me for the apple id for everything, and I cant open any app. If I put the correct apple id, the app close. And if I put a wrong one, is saying that can't contact itunes.
I really dont know what to do. All of them have the same settings.

I can't open any apps I downloaded after connecting to the computer (itunes) for the first time! Help!

I connected my iphone 4s to my macpro for the first time to add some musci, I didn't touch the apps folder.
But after ejecting, I can't open any of the apps I downloaded. When I press on them, they just shake but nothing opens!

You shouldn't. Downloading the app re-authenticated the iTunes account on your phone. This happens to people from time to time (not sure why) but making you are logged into the Apple store in iTunes with your Apple ID prior to syncing might help.

Mini will open to desktop but can not open any apps

We can get the Mini up to the desktop, but it will not let us open any apps or shutdown. I can not remember what version of OS I have and can not open information about the Mini.

Does the mouse seem to be working?
Could be many things, we should start with this...

4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.

Can't open any apps since I downloaded iOS 5

I recently downloaded iOS 5 onto my iPad, and now I cant open ANY apps that were downloaded. I can still open apps that were preloaded (such as safari, messaging, photos, etc). Ive tried turning it off and then back on, and even deleting the app and reinstalling it, but no dice.
Anyone else experiencing this???

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Suddenly I cannot open any apps on my ipad!
Any suggestions.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.
