Go to your home screen, and then press the volume down or up button. It should say Ringer instead of volume. If it doesn't do that, try going into the clock app and try it there.

I installed the iOS 5.0.1. for my iPod touch and as soon as i was finished my ipod was empty is there a possibility to get the songs back.
Ich habe mir heute iOS 5.0.1 heruntergeladen. Als es fertig war war nichts aber wirklich gar nichts mehr auf meinem Ipod. Ich hätte schon noch alles auf dem pc aber ich habe hunderte von stunden in meine ipod dateien investiert gibt es irgend eine einfache lösung wie ein backup oder so.
PS. Wenn jemand noch einen tipp gegen wackelkontakt des ipods (nicht kopfhörer) hätte wäre ich sehr dankbar

How could you forget the Apple ID and password? You used it to post your question. Is this a new iPhone? Or did you recently purchase it used?

Has anyone else had issues with phone network being unavailable on iPhone 4 since updating to iOS 5.0.1? My iPhone 4 is continually searching for a network and does not find AT&T, my provider. I swapped SIM cards with another iPhone 4 running ios 4 and established this is a device problem, not a SIM card problem.
Does the device get any signal?
Sounds like the device may have had a hardware failure. If it is out of warranty, the only option is the Out of Warranty replacement.
AppleCare is only an option if it is still under the original warranty. -

I have iPhone 4 with updated latest iOS And i am using FIND IPHONE application. But everytime when ever i login in it and serch for the device its shows the device but never give me the location"NO LOCATION AVAILABLE".It is already connected with WIFI and i tried all the stuffs that has been written in the manual. Plese give me the Proper suggetion about this issue..!!
If your router is not identified in a national database (don't recall who maintains it or where it is) then there is no location associated with it. Hence your device cannot be located. I suggest you try your test at some public wifi spot, like a bookstore or coffee shop. These places usually have a location associated with their wifi router.

After notified by Apple to update to IOS 7.1 version for my iPad3, 64GB, WIFI + AT&T Cellular, the upgrade crashed and left my iPad3 in restore mode. After more than 10 restore and update retries, I found that Apple tried to force an update of iPad3, WIFI & Verizon on my iPad. When will Apple fix this problem so that I can get back to normal life with my iPad3. If anyone has solutions to this, please help me. Thank you. Kingkham
The iOS udate is operator agnostic. There are no special versions. What leads you to think this is the case?

What happens when you try?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -

I recently updated to iOS 8.0.2 in my iPhone 5S. Since that update, landscape orientation doesn't work for any application. I have ensured that the Portrait Orientation lock is Off.
I have a workaround, if you lock then unlock the orientation lock it seems to work again.
