My mini won't allow me to log into FaceTime and I messaging it says connect to the internet but everything else that requires internet works.. I've reconnected to the internet, reset the iPad and I've changed the password to see if any of these things would help.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Every time I attempt to connect to the internet I get a dialogue box that asks do you want to allow this programme to make changes? The publisher is Mozilla, and it also tells me that it relates to Firefox software updater. Never had this until about two hours ago! Also seemed to relate to a crash of McAffee, which happened at around the same time.. Don't know much about computers, but what I do know is that this has only just started... Help...???

I spilled a small amount of wine on my macbook pro keyboard, I know, killing myself over this! I dried it fully but 24 hours later the keys are very sticky and it won't find the Bluetooth module so I can't use my magic mouse - everything else seems to be working fine. Thanks for any tips!
Your keyboard will never be right again; it needs to be replaced. There's no effective way to clean sticky stuff out of it. Your Bluetooth module may have been shorted out and destroyed, and it probably isn't dry yet after only 24 hours.
Take your machine in for repair, and expect a hefty bill in the hundreds of dollars. -

I can access the websites, but it just refreshes the page when I try to log into my account. This has been happening since we got new Wifi a few weeks ago, but this is only a problem on my iPod, and not with our phones and laptops. The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Why won't my apple account log into FaceTime?
It asks me to log in, and once I type in my password, it says loading, but it doesn't show signs of Internet action in the top corner of my iPad. Then it says I need to check my connection; however, everything else is working and connecting just fine. What's wrong with it?
Sometimes, you just need to wait a while. But if it is crucial, turn your iPad off completely and reopen it.

My iPad mini iOS version is 6.0.2 which I can't upgrade to iOS 7. Message displayed during verifying upgrade is "Can't verify upgrade because you are no longer connected to the internet". This happens again and again though I am connected to the internet through wifi. What should I do?
Reset the iPad and try again. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Reset your router and try again. Unplug your router from power for about 30 seconds then plug it in again.
Try another WiFi Network. Go to a friend's house, a library, anywhere else that you can use a trusted WiFi network.
Try updating using iTunes on your computer. -
Time capsule won`t allow multiple devices to connect to the internet
I`ve got a 2TB time capsule that worked fine.
I moved to this condo where the is already a wired internet service available to each apartment. The access is made through a login and password whenever You open you browser, if connected directly on the WAN cable. No multiple logs are allowed.
When I used my Time Capsule to create a wi-fi network and serve as a router I could access the internet on my MacBook over the wi-fi just created. No problem at all. But whenever I try to log other devices (iphone, apple tv) it asks for my ap login and password, and of course it states that there`s already an active connection to that user and won`t grant me access.
I`ve then borrowed a tp-lynk router from a friend of mine, created a wi-fi network (without the time capsule on it), it asked for the log in and all but then everything worked fine and I could use all my devices through this network.
Back to the time capsule, I`ve tried different settings. First one was bridge mode, but it didn`t work. Tried DHCP & NAT but had the double NAT issue.
Also I`ve tried this solution https://www.autoitconsulting.com/site/networking/configuring-an-airport-extreme- for-nat-only-mode/
but it would`t work either.
My guess is that somehow Time Capsule is attributing different IP addresses to each device that enters the Wi-Fi network, and that`s the reason I can`t access the net, since the service provider won`t allow more than one connection. On the other hand TP-Lynk was able to connect to the internet service through one IP address and then connect to other devices.
Any idea on how to solve this issue?Tried DHCP & NAT but had the double NAT issue.
If you got the TC working and had double NAT .. sorry but the TP-Link is exactly the same.. you cannot distribute a single IP without double NAT.. the TC tells you it is a problem.. the TP-Link doesn't.. otherwise there is no difference.
But it is important the double NAT is setup right.. ie you must use different ranges.. please tell us the IP you get from a directly connected computer..
If it is 10.x.x.x then you should move the TC to 192.168. rather than default IP of 10.0.1.1 .. the TP-Link already will use 192.168.x.x. which might also explain why it works better. -
Trying to setup my new ATV and it won't set date and time, and won't allow me to log in with my apple ID to homeshare OR to test te network, which I know is correct since I changed it. I live in an apartment complex and the router is in my roommates room. ANY suggestions? I'm at the point where I may return this because it has been nothing but a hassle. I'm also using my MacBook Pro as the homesharing with iTunes up to date.I had a similar issue wuth my new Apple TV. If you (or your roommate) are able to change the router firewall settings, do that first. I don't know the ports that you need, except that 123 is one of them (to set the time). Then restart the Apple TV. See if that will get you through the activation process. I actually ended up restoring mine to factory settings, but I'm not sure if that step was really necessary.
I understand your frustration, though. Getting the Apple TV to work was such a pain -- it almost feels like it is not really an Apple product.
