I am trying to connect new ipad mini without a wi fi connection. I have my ipad plugged into my computer and itunes is not recognizing it.
What are my options. Do not have wi fi at home.

Oh ! wifi connection is pretty hard to find in this location. So, i will not be able to use my PB....would have preferred some other tablet if i knew this before...whats the use of having BB phone having internet connection....will never prefer to suggest a PB to someone...

IPad mini unless branded for Verizon use will not be accepted for prepaid use. Apple will tell you that the mini is compatable with all carriers, you simply walk into the carrier of choice and ask for a nano Sim.
You pop it in, you turn on cellular if not already on and follow the screen prompts to get you up and running. Its quite easy.
I found my wife's mini only functions on Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T who I set up service with.
Verizon blocks the activation due to the emeid of the device. Apple says it is fully operable on Verizon but they don't let you activate unless its purchased from them or from Apple to use on their system.

Unfortunately cutting and pasting doesn't work. The margins are so different for each document as the first document is a standard report with the text centered on the page while the second document is in the form of a letter that is off center toward the right side of the page. Cutting and pasting either one into the other (I've tried both ways) alters both documents in a way that causes the images, quotes, etc that are interspersed throughout each of them to show up in the wrong place (and they cannot be moved to the correct location due to the differences in margin.
They really need to simply be placed end to end rather than trying to combine them into one. This is apparently a simple thing with Pages on the Mac itself but it does not appear to be as simple with the iPad app. Thanks anyway for your help.

The answer is, "you don't".
Music other than that purchased from the iTunes store had to be synced to the device using iTunes on a computer. The media should still exist on that computer. She can use the computer to sync the music to the new device.
An iPad or iPhone is NOT a backup device. In order to set it up to sync to a new computer were she to replace hers, the media on the device would have to be erased before anything could be synced to it. Media synced to the device can not be synced back to a computer (without purchasing 3rd party software). Without a computer and iTunes, it's not possible to transfer media from one iDevice to another, even with 3rd party software.

Set-up Mac Mini without a keyboard

I'm about to buy a Mac Mini which I'll use purely as a media server to play iTunes, movies & catch-up TV. So I don't have much use for a keyboard & therefore I don't intend buying one. However I will install Logitech Touch Mouse app which will allow me to communicate with the Mini via my iPad.
But the problem is, how to set-up the Mini & install the Logitech app without a keyboard? I'll be connecting the Mini to my TV via HDMI so I have a display & in addition to the iPad, I've got a Macbook Air running Yosemite. Can I use the Air keyboard? If so, how do I interface with the Mini?

All Macs have got the Target Disk mode. This mode allows you to connect both Macs and use one Mac's hard drive as an external hard drive for the other one.
However, this mode is activated on the Mac mini by holding down the T key while it is starting up, so this does not work. At this point, I seriously recommend you to get a wired keyboard (they are not very expensive) to set up the Mac mini (the only thing you need the keyboard for is to choose an username, a password and set up iCloud), because you need one.

So I bought my 3yr old an iPad Mini since he already knows how to fully operate most things on my iPhone! Now when I go to set it up, I don't want my music and apps and other content popping up on his iPad. Now can I create an Apple ID for him but set it up to where I can still have control over it? The guy in the store suggested I set it up using iCloud Family Sharing. When I got home and looked more into the family sharing option, I am not sure that is what I want either. That sounds like everybody in your family would have access to everything on the main device correct or am I wrong?
So this is what I want. I want to be the one who can purchase apps or download free apps by typing in his Apple ID info (if possible). I want him to have his own favorite songs via iTunes. The only thing I would want to share is probably a Family photo album in iCloud.
So what is the best way of setting this device up?
