HT5577 How can I add a rescue email address now?
I didn't add it at the first day I created my apple ID account. I want to change the password but can't remember the answer of 2 personal questions.
So now I am supposes to add my rescue email address to receive new password. But how can I do that now?

If you aren't getting the reset link as described on the page that you posted from (you won't be able to add a recus email address until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

If you know the answers to your security questions then the steps half-way down the page that you posted from should let you reset edit it.
If you can't remember your answers then you won't be able to edit your rescue email address, and you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

How do i add a rescue email address to an already existing apple id? The only option it gives me, under the manage my apple id category, is an alternate email. I am trying to make my alternate email address my rescue email address. I am new to this community thing.
Note that the rescue email address is not on the "Name, ID and Email Address" page -- you need to click on "Password and Security" on the left side. Even after you do that, it may or may not be available.
