HT5577 I had tried a billon times resetting my apple id passwords & still cant sign into my mac pro nor my hp... so pls pls help???
Please can someone pls help me out i had been resetting my apple id passwords a billon thousands times & still can't sign in even it said password had been reset???
i did this on my mac pro n even my hp can't update pls help me out what can i do & am am not good with computer? :\
2 How to get back to getting into my screen, without that first (& superfluous - since only 3 people use it & it's a HOME computer, not a business that needs extra protections) screen?
Resetting Password
1. Shut down comp & wait a few minutes.
2. Turn on & at the same time hold down the “command” & “R” keys.
3. Next screen….. In the menu bar click on Utilities (NOT OS X UTILITIES)
4. In the drop down menu, click on Terminal.
5. In the terminal pop up small window: Type exactly—> resetpassword
Hit return key.
6. Reset password window will pop up. Follow the onscreen instructions to reset password. Make sure you select the admin account to reset the password.
7. You can ignore the “keychain” pop up windows, which is what I did. Does not affect anything.
You can do the keychain stuff at your leisure.
8. Quit out of everything & restart your computer.
9. Enter your new reset password.
Once you are back on the desktop, you can go into System Preferences>Users & Groups. Double check to make sure auto login is enabled.

If you have AppleCare & same is still active, suggest that you call Apple Customer Relations - 1-800-275-2273. Ask politely & firmly that you want to be transferred to Customer Relations. Tell them exactly what you stated in your post.
Be sure to tell them that you have an iMac. Why? Because, under AppleCare, iMacs qualify for HOME tech repair/support when warranted. No need to lug an iMac to a repair facility.

I have ipod touch and somebody tried many many times(22000000) to enter the password and now it is locked how i open it please help me ???
You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Please tell us what kind of computer you have, what operating system and what version of iTunes. Not just "the latest version of iTunes", the exact version number.

I'm trying to reset my Apple ID password. They said they will send me an email but after months I still did not receive it.
Your password was sent to your emergency email address. Perhaps you have an email you never use? I use the free email from my cable TV account as my emergency email.
Your Apple account and cloud account are separate. You could even have completely different user and password. Most of us use the same user ID and password, but they are not the same thing, don't mix them up.
If you can't retrieve emergency email, you will have to call apple support.

Someone keeps trying to reset my Apple ID password. I get dozens of emails on a daily basis. It's been going on for a few months now. Funny part is - i havent used my personal email as my apple id; i have a different one I use. Anything I can do?

Settings-->Mail-->iCloud-->Account is the normal method however iCloud mail is not working for several of us. The password incorrect notification pops up usually when the servers are down (God forbid we actually get a "server down" notification.)

I have reset my Apple ID & Password but I still cannot access the music I purchased using another computer, ID & PW. It keeps saying that my computer is not authorize to play the songs. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Help!
iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

Can't get iMessage to activate after resetting my Apple ID password.
After having trouble signing into iMessage on Mountain Lion on my Mac Mini, it was suggested to reset my Apple ID password. After doing that, I re-entered my password everywhere on my iPhone. But now, my iMessage and Facetime on the phone won't activate. It stays on "Waiting for Activation" for about half a day and then says that activation was not successful.
I went through all the other related threads, and check Settings > Phone to make sure my number is showing, I fiddled with the Date and Time settings. I even updated to iOS 6.0.1. Nothing seems to work, and I genuinely don't want to reset my phone. Is there any way to resolve this issue?I deactivated iMessage on my mac completely and retried and still have the same problem. I then decided to place the phone in DFU mode and restore iOS 6.0.1 from the IPSW. After restoring from iCloud, iMessage is still stuck on "Waiting for Activation"
I did find something interesting though. I opened Xcode > Organizer and viewed the phone's console. When switching iMessage on, the following is displayed in the log:
