HT5577 Is there really no way to recover my account if my two-step verification methods were stolen?
The support page says: "If you have permanently lost any two of these items, you will not be able to sign in or regain access to your account. You will need to create a new Apple ID."
I had both my wallet containing my recovery key and my iPhone which was my authorized device stolen at the same time.
Now if I ever want to be able to manage my account or change my password I am totally screwed?
Come on Apple, there has to be another way I can verify my ID!
Can I come visit Cupertino with my passport and drivers license??
ANYTHING?
If I want security, I have to give up all my music/movies/apps and iCloud email address permenantly?
This is really disappointing Apple.
I believe the issue is that Apple can't access your account either, since they don't have one of your trusted devices or recovery key either. It's really important to have a copy of your recovery key in a separate location to avoid this kind of thing from happening. On January 26th, I downloaded iCloud for Windows and logged in using my account which was the same with the one on my Mac. 2 days later, at 3:27 PM January 28th, my 1 GB of documents on my iCloud storage got deleted automatically. I'm saying this because at that time I was sleeping and both my Mac and my Windows PC are turned off, and I'm home alone, besides there was no suspicious login reported to me by Apple.
So is there any possible way to recover these documents? I'm a teacher and they're very important to me. My Time Machine wasn't enabled so using it is useless.

Is there really no way to delete a profile from my macbook pro?
I got a new macbook pro recently. I was planning to move data from my old mac but couldn't resist to turn it on right away. In doing this I ended up having to set the profile up on my new mac. One step in this process is to move data from a different mac. Since I hadn't read up on the details of this step yet I chose to skip it. When I finally was ready to move the data from my old mac I was forced to create a another new profile.
I now have two profiles on my new mac and I'm desperate in trying to figure out how I can remove the old profile.

the way to delete a user account is to log in as the administrative user which you wish to keep, and open the Users & Groups pane in System Preferences. If the padlock in the lower-left corner of the System Preferences window is locked, click on the padlock to unlock it (by giving it your administrative user’s password). Select the user account that you would like to delete, and press the “-” button at the bottom of the list of user accounts. Relock the padlock if desired, and exit System Preferences. -

I completed the iOS 7.0.2 update and now my screen is locked in the Connect to iTunes position. I am not near my home computer so I cannot connect to iTunes. Please let me know if there is a way to recover this without connecting to a computer.

It has always beenv ery basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just this reason. Use your backup copy to put everything back.

I was doing a backup of my iphone 3GS on itunes before a update it. This backup was interrupted for a call and I didn't noticed that, so I update the mobile and recovered it, but when the recover did not work because it was interrupted and I lost all my data, contacts and photographs. There is any way to recover it? I found a part of the backup that was interrupted on the folder of itunes.
Grateful,Unfortunately if your backup is password protected you can't extract data from it without the password. There are programs that will extract data from an iPhone backup, but not if they it is password protected. (This is actually a good thing since it protects your security.) My suggestion is that you make a copy of this backup to a save location somewhere else on your computer so you can restore to it in the future to recover you photos should you remember your password later. If you leave it there, the next time you sync your phone it will overwrite the backup and will never be able to get it back.

No but you can go to the deleted messages just after you delete them and undelete. Once the carrier deletes it from the system you cannot get it back.

Praveen SoniUgh, do you have taken over the LimitValidator and the JSF example (including the f:validateDoubleRange which is unnecessary in this case) literally without actually reading/interpreting/understanding it? No, then it is indeed not going to work. Basically you just need to define a validator in the one password field and pass the client ID of the another field as attribute along the one password field. In the validator you can retrieve the value of the another field by its client ID and finally just invoke String#equals() on the values of the both fields.

We have no idea. We are not Apple. I'd expect a long wait in Pakistan, though, since Apple does not do business or provide support there at all.

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are trying to setup Two-Step Verification. After logging into http://appleid.apple.com, click "Password & Security". At this time you will probably be prompted to answer your security questions, go ahead and do so. Afterwards, the top section has a "Get started…" link to setup Two-Step Verification:
