HT5621 How to change my iCloud Id and I want remove my old Apple ID from my ipad

I have changed my Apple ID from yahoo.com to gmail. Com...because I already forgot the password totally.. So even I try to reset the password I can't access into my email inbox. The problem is I already create new id and password and update it but no option to change id for iCloud

you need to be running OSX 10.7 or 10.8 to use iCloud i believe. It shows you are using 10.6.8 which doesn't support iCloud.

The old ID email address is no longer accessable as I do not have the virgin account any more.
    My current ID is *********
My current ID is working every other system on the iPad mini.

    Hey best99,
Thanks for the question. After you change your Apple ID, you’ll want to follow these directions for updating the iCloud account on iOS devices:
Apple ID: What to do after you change your Apple ID
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5796
    iCloud
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
    - If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
    - If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
    1. Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
    2. Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • How do i remove my old Apple Id from iPhone's iCloud setting which does not exist anymore

Purchased new iphone 5s, installed with itunes restoring backup from iphone 4 (which was too old a backup). It restored an old apple id (which i do not use anymore) in the iCloud settings while having my new Apple Id in the Itunes & App Store. I cannot turn off the iCloud setting due to old AppleId popping up - which does not exist.. How do i remove the old Apple Id from icloud setting on the phone.
I cannot erase the phone as it asks for the password for the old Apple Id. And i cannot do the restore again (after i made a recent back up my iphone 4) as itunes asks me to turn off Find my phone.

The Apple ID exists. The email address you used to create it may not, but the Apple ID does. Call AppleCare and ask to speak to someone in account security.

    Hello Shy guy,
    You can try this:
    1. Go to the iTunes Store or App Store
    2. Scroll down, there you will see Apple ID: "your email" (below Redeem and Send Gift)
    3. Tap on that button
    4. Tap on Sign Out
Now you should be able to use another Apple ID.

  • How can I remove my old apple id from iTunes and put the new one in?

Morning all, how can I remove my old apple Id from my I tunes account and replace it with the new apple ID, ?
    Many thanks
    Kimber. Lee

Sign out of iTunes and sign in with the new ID. On your computer, under on of the iTunes menus, on your iPad Settings > iTunes and App Stores and tap on the Apple ID.
Note that all apps downloaded under the previous ID are locked to that ID, and you will have to sign back onto it for any updates.

You can change your Apple ID Name at My Apple ID. Select your country and language, enter your desired changes, then click the Continue button. Changes take effect immediately. You can also use My Apple ID to change your personal information, such as your mailing address or email address. See How to change the name you use for your Apple ID if you'd like more information.

To remove the apple id from the device, go to Settings>icloud>delete account. NOTE: this will only remove the account from the iPad. It will not delete the account.
    I hope this helps

  • How do I get iCloud Mail set as preference instead of old Apple Mail?

Every time I click on a hyperlink e-mail address, it opens the old Apple Mail program.  How do I set everything to go to iCloud mail?

Open Applications/Utilities/AppleScrupt Editor. Paste in the following:
    tell application "Safari"
      open location "https://www.icloud.com/#mail"
    end tell
Save it with a suitable title and make sure to set 'File format' to 'Application'. Place it anywhere convenient.
Now go to Mail Preferences>General and click the 'Default email reader' menu: choose 'Select' and navigate to your AppleScript.

  • How do I remove an old apple ID from the APPS Store

I gave my 27 inch iMac to my dad and thought I had everything deleted off my IMAC before I gave it to him.  I created an Apple ID for him; however, when we try to download updates from the APP Store it comes up with my old apple ID and asks me for the password to my old apple ID.  We are able to log into ICoud and ITunes using his new apple ID but for some reason the old apple ID keeps coming up in the APP Store box when we try to download an update and the old apple ID is "grayed out" in the APP Store box and we cannot type over it.  If we open up the app store and use the drop down menu, we are able to type in his new apple ID and purchase apps. I have tried signing out of the APP Store and ICloud and iTunes and the APP Store will not let go of my old original apple ID.  An apple ID is nothing more than a "User ID" and I have never heard of a user ID that could not be deleted or changed!!!  I am a former long time PC user and I like the Apple products, but the whole iCloud, Apple ID business seems very complicated to me. I am dreading carrying a 27 inch computer to the Apple store to fix something that should not be so complicated.

An apple ID is nothing more than a "User ID"
Actually, it is more than that. If you read the licensing agreements for any OS version or app obtained at the app store, it will become clear: the license for any app or OS obtained at the app store is not transferable. Hence it is tied to your Apple ID and will remain so - it cannot be removed.
You are supposed to remove anything obtained at the app store from the computer before giving/selling it. Your father will also not be able to reinstall the OS if need be.
Which OS version was on the Mac originally? You will need to use internet recovery (Command + Option + R) to erase your drive and then reinstall the original OS (if Lion or later). If it came with an install DVD, boot from that, erase the drive and reinstall. After that, your father can very easily download/update/reinstall any OS or app using his own Apple ID.

  • How do I delete an old Apple ID from my iPad

I have a used iPad in which the previous user's Apple ID is registered. I have also registered my Apple ID in this iPad but I am not able to change the Apple ID in iCloud in order to register my iPhone 5s under Find My iPhone. I am unable to contact the previous owner to get the password

With iOS 7 there’s no workaround.
    They should have done this.

  • How do i remove my old apple id from an old iphone...i cannot access via email nor security questions, pw does not work.

  • HT5621 How to change credit card number and get new security code?

    Tell me please.

You can encrypt data using the dbms_obfuscation_toolkit package, http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/appdev.920/a96612/d_obtool.htm#ARPLS028.
The big challenge in this sort of application is key management, not the actual encryption. Ensuring that the key is available for the system to be able to automatically decrypt the data without allowing users to force the database to do this decryption is a rather challenging task. In addition to encrypting the data and determining how to securely store the key, I would look into fine-grained access control (FGAC) and fine-grained auditing (FGA) as well to limit the ability of users to retrieve the encrypted text and to audit the retrieval when it does happen.
Of course, I'm assuming that you have already configured Oracle Advanced Security to encrypt the database session communication, otherwise you'll end up sending the data over the wire in the clear.

How do I remove and old appleid from an ipod touch 4?

    CHANGE ID
The ID is used in the following locations and you  have to change  them.
    Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
    Settings>FaceTime
    Settings>GameCenter
    Settings>iCloud
    and Settings>iTunes and App store
You  have to sign out of ID (for iCloud you delete the iCloud account from the iPod) and sign in with other ID.
    Note:
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
Also, a Restriction can be set (Settings>General>Restrictions) the prevents changing accounts
