Thanks again i was just thinking you might have meant that Apple products or Verizon contract products like mine are virus protected atleast. the other insurance we had for 2 yrs is for loss damage & theft. Im worried about viruses & such so decided to do away with insurance thru Verizon since i own my devices & the actual value of some & restock/co-pay whatever is more than its worth. A fair number of folks ask here for certain types of apps. In you search the app store you will get at least a couple that look like rpg games. But the form factor is not real good. Rage hd would give you a feel for what tou and cannout get on tablet. Pretty good graphics, pretty rough controls.

If you wanna get into FPS (first person shooter) games, then you really should take a look at the game that made FPS a top shelf hit --- Counter Strike. There are a number of games to go off from there, but in the gaming mecca of greatness there is no other game that even closely compares when it comes to the legacy of CS. This is based on the fact that the game has been around for 16 years now and still garners a huge following. It was the first ultra realistic shooter of its kind. It is addictive because it can be played in short segments as quickly as five minutes from bootup to first round or as long as you feel playing round after round. In the early games you will find out how poorly lacking your fps skills are against even moderately skilled players, and frightfully so when you face off against the relatively skilled. If it is your misfortunate to go against a pro, you will think it’s more reminiscent of Resident Evil facing off against Nemesis. This really lays out the ground work for you learning how to play these types of games, and if you stick with it, you’ll be getting better and better in no time. I honestly can’t recommend another game that will train you and entertain you so much in a single sitting. The only warning I have for you is set yourself some time limits or you will find out like many that have come before you that 5 minutes can easily become 5 hours.

AppleTV cannot play MKV files.
If you have an app that can Airplay an MKV file be aware that the app will be decoding the MKV locally and then recompressing to either an h264 stream or compressing the iPad screen display and sending via Airplay - either way quality will suffer.

Smart Playlist: I want to make a smart playlist that plays songs by artists included in other playlists. How?

Here's an example: I have a smart playlist that only plays songs that have been played 2 or more times (Playlist A). I want to make another smart playlist (B) that plays songs by the artists included on playlist A but that are songs not included on playlist A because they have not been played two times yet.
I could do this by making a smart playlist that says to play:
Any songs
not included on Playlist A
by artists included on Playlist A
But for the life of me, I can not figure out how to do this simple thing. My options for Playlist are only "is" or "is not".
I hope that the reason for this is clear - I want to listen to other tracks by artists who have written songs I know I like.

But I have to say, I don't know why that the "is/is not included in" field would not be an option. They oughtta add it!
The problem is that the Smart Playlist rules, although they look complicated, are really oriented to analyzing individual tracks. So "is this track in Playlist A" is easy to do, but "is this track by an Artist for which there is at least one track in playlist A," is currently undoable. However, you can make suggestions to Apple by using the iTunes Feedback page:

So recently I synced my iPod Classic 160 GB like I did so many times and when I wanted to play some music afterwards it couldn’t find any files on the iPod anymore. However when you look in the settings it displays that ~roughly 90 GB free space is available. Seen the fact that I had about 60 gigs of music this doesn’t seem like a coincidence and I think my music is still somewhere on the ipod but the HDD isn’t recognizing it anymore.
I’ve tried resetting it, and resetting it to factory settings, which didn’t work. When connected to a desktop it won’t be recognized by iTunes, it displays an error message that the iPod cannot be read and that I have to reset it to factory settings.
I’ve spent some time researching this problem yesterday and I ran into a myriad of vaguely similar problems didn’t really offer any help. Currently I’m thinking that formatting the iPod might work, and restoring the software afterwards. However this is a rather bold strategy so I’d like to consult you here first.

Thank you for the info, with formatting my iPod I managed to connect it to iTunes again.
However..in the page you linked to there is a section about how transferring large amounts of data can dump your library. That seems to be the problem in this case. It won't even allow me to transfer more than 2 gigabytes of music per sync, if I go higher it will dump everything again. Having over >60 GB of music in my library, this is disastrous to say the least.
Do you think that there is any other solution besides the method you mentioned involving Smart Playlists?

Want to play songs in playlist, not master music library

I have some songs that I want in a playlist (already created that) that I don't want to play in the main music library when I select shuffle songs. e.g.: I have a Christmas songs playlist. I open my music library, select shuffle and play. I don't want to hear my Christmas songs in August! Can this be done?

You could make a smart playlist that includes the rule playlist is not Christmas Songs
Then you could shuffle that or use it as the source for iTunes DJ.
Otherwise you could uncheck all the songs in the Christmas Songs playlist, then they would not be selected when you shuffle Music.
I forgot to add that there is a Skip when shuffling option in Get info on the options tab. It also works if you do Gel Info on a selection of tracks, but be careful to only change the shuffling option as any change is applied to all tracks selected.

Is it possible to upload all of my songs from my PC to my iCloud and then wipe the original files completely off of my PC?
Would iCloud still recognise the songs and could I stream the music from the cloud and play them on my PC through iTunes as if the songs were stored on my PC, rather they would be stored online, taking up virtual memory rather than my PC memory?
I would back the songs up on a HDD to keep what I have purchased safe, but this would be purely to ensure I would not lose the files completely.
I currently have all of my music stored on my hard drive, and have nothing saved on my PC memory, but it means having to plug my hard drive in whenever I want to listen to it.
I am hoping that iCloud can prevent me from having to plug the HDD in every time i want to listen to my iTunes library, but still have no music files stored on my PC. Can anyone advise please?

How to play several Smart Playlists sequentially?

How can I set several Smart Playlists to play sequentially? For instance, if I want to play all the songs in Smart Playlist "A", followed by all the songs in Smart Playlist "B", can I queue them up to do so? Maybe with a master playlist?

I know, but that doesn't answer the question. I don't want to mix songs from several playlists; I want several playlists to play sequentially without having to go back to the iPod. In other words, play all the songs from one playlist before any of the next playlist's songs play.
What I'm really trying to accomplish is to shuffle play all the 4 and 5 star rated songs from a genre, then shuffle play all the 2 and 3 star rated songs. I can create a playlist to shuffle play the 4-5s, and a playlist to shuffle play the 2-3s, but I can't figure out how to make the two playlists play sequentially.
