Hi,
I understand that any email that is leaving Apple is not getting to your email account.
I linked to the page where you would normally change this so that you could check what your Primary Apple ID and email are.
My Apple ID is based on an email with a Dial-up service I once had.
I had changed the email here at Apple Support Communities to send it to a Gmail account.
Then I linked my Apple ID with an iCloud ID and it reverted to the Dial-up account.
I can "fetch" mail from this account as I don't have to be logged in via their dial-up server.
However if I wanted to Send from that account I would have to Log in via a Dial-up modem which this iMac does not have as standard.
There is another page where you can change the Email address that is linked to your account.
You can change just the Email and it will ignore your Apple ID/Primary email from the other page and start sending emails to the one your enter.
OPTION
The other option is the choose the Online option to change the password.
When you login at the first "portal" I linked you to you get an option to "recover" or reset the password in the web Browser there and then with out sending an email.
You are required to answer the Security Question(s) you set up and list your date of birth.

If you forgot the answers to your security questions, try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you're not sure you remember the answers. If you're confident that you can't remember them, try one of the following:
If you have three security questions and a rescue email address, sign in to My Apple ID and select the “Password and Security” tab to send an email to your rescue email address to reset your security questions and answers.
If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID password, sign in to My Apple ID and select the “Password and Security” tab to reset your security question.
If you have one security question, but don't remember your Apple ID password, contact Apple Support for assistance. Learn more about creating a temporary support PIN to help Apple confirm your identity when you contact Apple Support.

You should be able to get your password reset via http://iforgot.apple.com - that should give you the option of having a reset email sent to your primary email address (rescue email address if you have one on your account).
When it's been reset, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then you can use that to reset your security questions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6170
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get your questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 - they should also be able to reset your password if you can't get it reset via the iforgot

IPhone 5, backup on computer is password protected, forgot password, still have phone, just want to reset the password so i can create a new backup!

At some point, I backed it up to my PC, with a password.
I have forgotten the password.
I still have the phone.
I can no longer back it up to the PC.
I want to wipe the backup, password, etc, and start again.
Surely that can't be impossible!

Once iTunes is set to encrypt iPhone backups, switching this feature off requires the password. What if the password is forgotten or unknown? You can still reset iTunes to make a fresh backup without encryption. Follow these steps to uncheck Encrypt iPhone backup:
Perform these steps at your own risk!
1. Delete any Mail Exchange accounts on the iPhone.
2. Delete old encrypted backups from iTunes.
3. Use iExplorer or ssh to delete the file /private/var/Keychains/Keychain-2.db from the iOS filesystem. Note: this step will clear stored passwords from your device.

5. Connect the iPhone to your computer and open iTunes.

If it is your own pdf and you are unsure of your password, you are out of luck. You will need to create a new file from the original documents. I suggest using password managers, if you need to create many different documents with different passwords.

Since you say you are a "new user", please explain how and why you have an iCloud password, security questions, and an email id that you cannot remember. How could this happen?

You have to boot to the Recovery HD, Command + r at startup, and from there use Terminal in the Utilities menu item and typ in Resetpassword. A dialog box will open where you can do that.

I forgot my admin password for my imac os x 10.7.5. How can I reset the password without deleting any of my files?

Reset Password
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse pointer to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box under “Select user account”.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.
