I have a computer with my old Apple ID and one with my new Apple ID can I somehow transfer the apps to the new computer or when I change my Old Apple ID to the new one on my iPad do the apps or the data get lost? For example my iMovie trailers I made on my iPad can I download iMovie on my new computer with my new Apple ID or can I transfer the trailers somehow?

I recently changed my apple ID but the old on is still on my iCloud account. The old address is dimmed on iCloud on my iPad so I can't change it. How do I change to the new address? I don't want to delete the account as I don't want to lose the pictures
To change it, you have delete the existing account. However you can avoid losing any pictures in the process. To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. (Camera roll photos are not effected by deleting the account.)
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in. -
I have changed my Apple ID...now how do I change the default apple ID on my Ipad....the apple ID is greyed out so cant change it...
Tap on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'sign out' on the popup and then log back in with the updated version - if that is also greyed out then check to see if you currently have Settings > General > Restrictions > Accounts (under the 'allow changes' heading) set to 'Don't Allow Changes'

You can start a new Apple ID, just understand all purchases made under an Apple ID are forever associated with that ID and can't be switched to a new one.
The requirements of an Apple ID is that it be from a valid email account.

Since many apps are free, they can be repurchased free with a new Apple ID.
If you purchased valuable apps under your ID, get a new one for your daughter. Or visa versa.
You can continue to keep them in one computer library which will allow you to sync them to all devices.
Updates will require the Apple ID and password from the purchasing Apple ID.

I changed my email address and therefore changed my Apple ID and password on my Mac. Now when i want to use iCloud on my iPad and my iPhone my old email comes up as my Apple ID and I cant log in or update any apps on my iPhone or iPad. Can you help me?

I have read the directions for how to set up an IPad but there is a problem. I have 2 Ipads, one for work, and I set them up differently with different Apple IDs and passwords. Now I find out you can't buy extras for Apps you've already bought if you're using different IDs. YOu have to buy the App again for the 2nd Ipad.
How do I change the ID and password on my 2nd IPad to the one I use on my first IPad? I know how to change one or the other, but don't know how to change both at the same time.Log out of iTunes on your second iPad and log in with the Apple id you use on the first iPad. The only minor issue will be that any purchases you made with the second Apple id will be locked to that id, and you will have to use that password to update apps.

I cannot use my ipad it continuously requests an ICloud password, I believe 2 ICloud accounts were setup in error. I would like to have the same apple Id for the IPad and Icloud? How do I do this, or how do I correct theconstant request for an ICloud password?

It's not my phone number under settings / messages/ send and receive, it's greyed out , not ticked and not changeable, so that's probably why iMessages only come into my ipad not my iPhone. Think it'll be the original phone number the phone had before my own number was assigned to it. How can it be changed?
Turn off imessage and turn it back on. Then check the settings again.
If that doesn't work, then you may need to restore from your backup, if that doesn't woirk then restore as new. -
i buy a second hand IPAD and after restoring is shows the previous user apple ID and even i dont know the person that have the ID and now i want to use with my apple ID
Without the previous owner's Apple ID and Password, you will not be able to activate the iPad.

HT5621 Id/Username for Icloud on Ipad
I changed my email in icloud online but can't change it on my ipad. Tried going under settings on the ipad and deleting the old icloud account, but it asks me to sign in to turn off find my phone (which still shows my old icloud id).
Was able to change it for Itunes - but ipad won't allow you to simply change the username that automatically pops up to sign in.
Advice is greatly appreciated!Go to appleID.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the old one. Then delete the account in settings on your device. Then go back to appleID.apple.com and change back to current email.

Change her iCloud ID? You need to erase the iPad and start all over again in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. You will need to know her ID and password in order to erase the device.

If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

If you change your Apple ID you will need to sign in with the new information or password the next time you use an Apple service or feature that uses Apple ID. If you have multiple devices that use features and services that require an Apple ID, you will need to sign in again on each device.

Restore the iPad to out of the box configuration. This will erase all contents/settings on the iPad. Then set up using your ID and email info.
