Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.

I am having trouble with my iPad, i can start it, but the iPad does not work. i tried to use the power and home button at the same time, the apple logo appears, but the iPad does not work. What am I suppose to do?
After the Apple logo appears, what happens then? Can you hear any sounds or if you tap on the screen, does it seem like apps can open or are you just seeing a black screen? You might have a hardware problem, but you can try restoring the software and see what happens.
Read this in its entirety before you do anything. Make sure you read the sections at the end about using recovery mode.

its not working: (sorry for being so ambiguous), the computer recognises it, it comes up on my desktop, when i open it and try and drag a file across, it is unable to go into the drive, there is just a symbol indicating 'no' (i've read the instructions from Tosheba and there is no help). I have not partitioned the drive using the GUID partition scheme - i dont know what this means?!

Viber on iPad not working although it was fine last time I used it. When I tap on Viber icon the Viber page opens but after a few seconds disappears and I'm back where I started. Have deleted Viber and reloaded but it hasn't solved problem

My Ipad stop working and is just showing the apple logo and right after that the ITunes logo , I connected it to my PC but it ask me to restore it. Is there any trick to do not loose all my pictures if I restore it?
Once the Device is in Recovery Mode... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... after the successful Recovery... Restore from the most recent Backup...

They are displaying on the iPhone though.

My iPod Touch 3rd gen is screwed up the backlights screwed and the Wifi is not working its showing no wifi!

One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
