When I am trying to download an app, my friend's APPLE ID is popping up by default as he had used it first after purchase of the instrument. How to change this default ID to my ID?
All purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID that originally bought them and will require it to update in the case of Apps.
If you don't want to be using your friends Apple ID, I suggest the following:
Settings->General->Reset->Erase All Content and Settings.
Then set up the iPad with your Apple ID as new.
Alternatively you can just go to Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID->Sign Out, and then Sign in with your own.
But again Apps will still request your friend's Apple ID to update every time.

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:

Try to take a look at the top right corner on iTunes. Does it say "Sign In" or "Apple ID" like [email protected]

K when I'm trying download an app called gun bros or any other app is disappears. Lately my iPad has been a bit buggy and it's not jail broken I do need some help as I've looked it up on the Internet but no luck so I came pls help me out.
Ps it's on 4.2.1 quick isn't listed for the operating system so I put it up here.Have you got age restrictions set in Settings > General > Restrictions so that the app is being hidden when it's downloaded ?

At present 2 websites are not opening. When I am trying to open these sites either "problem loading page or the website you are looking is not present". These two messages are being displayed.
Try clearing your browser cache.
Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button. -
Whenever I try to download or redox load an app, a sign says I need to sign in. I do, but it then says I have a billing problem from an earlier purchase and I don't have money on the card so I can't put anything even though I tried. How can I get rid of the card on my ipod??
Sounds like you have an outstanding balance. You have to pay that of before you can make purchases, even free ones. Add a valid payment method to your account

I do not have my card for sometime now .
I do not understand what the problem is .I have had this problem myself. It means you had/have insufficient funds on you iTunes account from a past purchase. Say you bought a $5 app but you only have $4, it won't let you get any apps free or not and won't let you update apps.
