HT5622 Entering CORRECT passCODE, hitting DONE but keeps going back to énter passcode' and won't do anything else or let me in.

Haven't used my Ipad for some time. Switched it on andup came énter PASSCODE''. I entered the correct Passcode and hit DONE but it just
keeps going back to énter Passcode'and wont let me go any further. Can anyone assist please with a reason for this and/or how to be able to get in.

Try a hard reset of the iPod. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Unless you have a copy of the iPod backup file from the previous computer installation you are out of luck. If yo have that file move it to your computer and restore the iPod from that backup. Otherwise, you will have to restore the iPod to factoery defaults/new iPod and lose all your app date. That is the way it is since the iPod sees the computer as a new computer/iTunes library. That backup file is located:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

Are you getting any messages about date and time.
Have you tried restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Are you connected to the network correctly.

Please help after being on phone to bt about my slow internet, to be told that the best I can get, I put the phone down...but gone to turn my iMac on and Safari will not open I have tried to push reopen button but keeps going back to same menu sayin

ssafari quit unexpectedly I keep pressing reopen button but nothing. Bt told me to put imac into safe mode, could this be the problem.

Thank you so much for replying. However I was about to remove this post. I worked out how to do it!
If anyone is having similar issues then turn off mirroring and change the arrangement in display preferences so that the monitor works as the main display and the macbook just shows the desktop. I then turned down the brightness levels on the macbook to conserve power.

The phone keeps powering down, then will act like it is rebooting and then powers down again. It won't show that it's charging.

Log and transfer keeps going on idle... and won't load my clips

Final Cut Express has my video footage on there. But when I try to log and transfer it, it will have the spinny arrow thing that makes it look like it's loading clips but then it will stop and go on idle.
I have no idea what to do. I just put Final Cut Express on my computer the other day and this is the first time I am using it on this computer.
I already trashed my preferences, thinking that was the problem but I am totally at a loss. Please help. Thank you!!

There is lots of existing info on this forum about capturing AVCHD from Canon cams. Try a search.
Usually the trouble is in the Log and Transfer window settings.
Switch to Plain Stereo rather than the default Matrix setting.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, things have gotten progressively worse now in another direction. After I posted this, I shut down my computer to go to work. It had to "rebuild" the filevault sparseimage to recover space.
Now when I restarted it, I am missing things from my dock, ? marks are in their place, all of my preferences have been set to some default AND this is the biggie - I have no mail accounts whatsoever. When I click on Mail, it asks me if I want to establish a new account. It looks like the FileVault action has totally screwed up my system.
I tried rebuilding the permissions as recommended above using safe boot. Didn't help. I am now trying to repair the FileVault sparseimage as recommended elsewhere. I think I now see what the problem might be. I have two different sparseimages for the same account with the only difference is that a 1 is appended to the second one. Unfortunately I can't tell which it is. I have a feeling I should repair the 1st one (without the suffix 1). It must not be able to open that and hence that is why it made a second one.
Any other help anyone?

Audiobooks purchased from Audible.com. They play on iTunes on my computer. They have been playing on my iPod Classic until two days ago. I'm in the middle of two books and now one does not keep track of where I am and the other does not play. I also have other books not playing on the iPod that use to play. When I loginto a certain web site it just keeps going back to the login page. It works on IE but not Firefox. There is some setting I must have that is stopping the logon.

Ok me again I once changed one ipod classic for another ipod classic on the same laptop , all my music on iTunes (300 CDs) where still there but could not be found by iTunes to load on to the new ipod , I had to load every CD again to solve , should I have reset the first ipod or something?
