I have tried to change my DNS settings. I've also run the msconig prompt. Nothing seems to work. Do you have any suggestions? Please help. It would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.i have been having this same problem. it also seems like a ton of folks are. i think apple has dropped a huge ball on this one. luckily ther are MANY other places now to purchase music other than itunes. i think their business will fail unless they get on top of issues like this.

I can "Get More Apps."
I can do just about everything.
However, I can NOT get app updates. I get this message - on computer & devices. If I want to update apps, I get this message:
"We could not complete your iTunes Store request. You do not have permission to access the requested resource. There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."

And yes, I have the latest version of iTunes.Had the same problem - on my iOS devices and on my Mac's as well.
Fixed it. I turned off Wifi on the iphone and presto - was able to get connected. Remoted into another machine offsite - and the App Store worked - so figured it might be connected to an IP issue since iPhone over 4G worked, just not w/wifi enabled.
Reset my cable modem to grab a new IP address - and all works normally again. -
Since installing McAfee I have noticed my itunes store will not open. I tried downloading version 10.2 and nothing. It gives me an error cod 306, and tells me they couldnt complete my request and an unknown error has occured. I don't know if the 2 are related but Its frustrating because it was working fine before!?

Since I updated to the newest version of iTunes I have had this error message:
"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. The network connection was refused. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network correction is active, then try again."
Is this most likely a problem with the functioning of my Norton Internet Security 2007 with the new iTunes software?Here is the Diagnostic information, in case this helps anyone understand me better. I genuinely appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Ich finde das geht Niemanden etwas an was ich mir jemals runtergeladen habe.
Ich benutze meinen Computer und mein iTunes nicht alleine...Vesuch mal,
1. Die App auf all Deinen iOs-Geräten zu löschen und...
2. ... mit Deiner Identität in iTunes zu gehen und dort in den Applications die betreffende App per Rechtsklick-menu zu löschen und die Frage mit "in den Papierkorb bewegen" beantworten.
3. Alle iOs-Geräte synchronisieren
damit müsste die App dann eigentlich weg sein...

Sync tests completed successfully.I have found a fix after doing additional research through this forum. Tech Note #328730 addresses this problem and it works for Photoshop Album 3.2 even though it was written for release 1.0.

When using this fix the Tech Note indicates:
"Imported image data and tags are lost when you re-create the My Catalog.psa file, so you need to reimport images and reapply any tags"

I can't connect to my school's free wifi. i was able to do it before but not anymore i get the self assign ip addrees message .it has no password only a pop up window before you connect to agree to school terms for wifi use. i don't get that window anymore. i tried everything I can think of. It is a 2010 macbook pro but i recentrly updated to osx lion and even with lion it was working fine so I nkow it is not the update. also Im able to connect to other internets at home it works great. starbucks too. but i became so frustated that i reset my computer to manufactuter setting and reinstall snow leopard on it. still I cant connect. I need help please i have been searching all over the web for help and i see people has been having this same problem for years now.. oh yeah and i know it is not the internet cuz there are other macs connecting to it without a single problem so i think it is an isolated problem plase help....i have follow many advises such as delete the internet from your prefered netwoks. restar your commputer etc etc.
Be sure Safari does not have the Block Pop-Up Windows preference set.
Where I work now there are several unencrypted VLANs that require authentication, and Safari promptly pops up a window for me to register every time.
