Sounds like a problem for forums/support from the DB provider, as this problem is normally solved through some form of HA provided by the DB (or some cluster software, but still not Java) with, normally, a shared (virtual) IP address.

  • How to Move from One Apple ID to Another

My wife and I use the same Apple ID on our separate iPhones.  How can she disconnect from using that ID and establish her own?

Your wife needs to sign out of all Apple features that uses that ID and then create a new one. If you are using the same iCloud ID for backing up delete the backup before proceeding:

  • How to switch from one type layer to another?

Is it possible, without having to use my mouse to manually select a different tool, to move from editing type on one layer to type on a different layer?
Here's my frustration: when I'm editing type on one layer, I would love to be able to use a keyboard command to "refresh" the Type tool and then be able to click on another text layer and start editing there.
But of course, whatever key I use to try and do that -- for example, typing M to select the Move tool -- simply types an "m" into the selected text layer.
If memory serves me well (and it might not), I thought there was a keyboard command to do this in a long ago and far away version of Photoshop. Something that might have been lost in subsequent releases.
The only way I know how to do this now is: (1) edit text in first layer, then (2) use my mouse to select a different tool from the Tool palette, then (3) reselect the Text tool (or use the T keyboard command for that, and then (4) select the second text layer that I want to edit.
Simply one too many clicks for my liking.

can't you just do it this way:
    1. edit the text in your current layer - and don't hit 'enter' when you're finished typing your text, just leave the cursor flashing on your document
    2. click on a different layer (on the layers panel) that you want to edit next
    3. move your cursor back into your document to edit the next bit of text on the layer you just selected - this way, the text tool is still your active tool, you never have to switch tools

  • The iOS stores switch from one country store to another on their own, why?

i have an iPhone and an iPad, and i face the same problem on both devices. When i try to purchase apps, music, podcasts, and books, the responsible store tells me that my account is not valid for purchase in the (country name) store, the country name changes most of the time. So i then go to my account and tap on "view account", or sign out and sign back in. After doing that i get the following: your account is valid in the U.S store. click OK to transfer you from the (country name) store to the U.S store. When i press OK the devices loads for a while, then most of the time i would get the following message "Can't connect to the iTunes store" and i would end up at the home screen. Other times it would just load normally and i would buy what i want.
So then, why do i have to go through the whole refreseshing my regional setting process most of the time?
    Thank you

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes store in the iTunes application on your computer, enter your password and click the "view account" button. Navigate to the Apple ID summary where you have the option to "change country or region".
In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.
You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support.

  • How to switch from one iTunes account to another on iPad ?

Hi there, I was using an old iTunes account until it went all weird. So I created a new iTunes account and I'm wondering how to get these onto my iPod touch 4th gen and iPad 1st gen ? It comes up under the iTunes store ( at the bottom ) but when I go to update the apps that are required for update, the old username comes up ..... ANY help  to solve this problem would be GREATLY appreciated !!! Thanks

Those apps are tied to that ID, you can't transfer them to a new account.

  • Switching From One Apple ID To Another HELP!!

(Really Didn't Know Where To Put This, Sorry)
    Hi There,
I Have Been Using My Fathers Apple ID Account For About 3 Years, In That Time I Have Downloaded Many Apps. My Problem Is That Now I Am Leaving Home I Think It Is Only Right That I Set Up My Own Apple ID.
My Question Is This, Will I Have To ReDownload All My Apps Again With The New Account To Obtain Any Future Updates? This Will Obviously Result In A Cost :/
If There Is Anyway To Get My App Updates On My New Account Please Let Me Know, If Not Please Let Me Know So I Can Just Go Ahead And Buy Them All Again
Also My Game Centre Achievements Will, Obviously Be Lost Aswell Correct?
(Sorry For The Box - Did This In Text Edit)
    Thanks
    Goody

Apps are always tied to the account from which they were purchased.  You will either have to authorize you computer for your fathers account and use his account to update your apps, or you will have to get your own apps from your own account.
    Sorry

  • How do I switch my iphone 4s from one apple id to another apple id?

How can I switch my phone from one Apple ID to another Apple ID and keep all my apps/information?
I want to use the same ID between my ipod and iphone.
    Is this possible?

I'm assuming each device uses its own icloud account and you want them both to use the same account, but not lose data from the device you will do the switch on.  If this is the case you need to copy the data from the "old" account to the other account ....
When connected to the account you want to GET data from, Go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off.
When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone.
After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On.  When prompted, choose Merge.  This will upload the data to this new account.
Note that this only affects the "Apple data" like contacts, calendars, reminders, etc.  Many third party apps also use iCloud to store data files there.  These files may be lost in the process, unless the apps also keep the data locally on the device.
NOTE:  Photos in the photo stream (if you use it) will not transfer to the new account.  It is advised that you save the photos to a computer before performing the account switch.

How do you switch from one iTunes account to another on your apple tv?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
I assume you do mean a different account and not simply a different iTunes library. Unfortunately, in order to switch accounts, you would need to log out and log in to the second account.

How can I transfer all iTunes purchases from one apple id to another?

Don't agree. I have two accounts, one for work which I set up years ago and bought a few tracks. I've recently bought iPhone and iPad and created a home ID and wanted to transfer the old purchaces. Everyone says it can't be done, but I've done it.
    1. on the iPhone/iPad change your "store" Apple ID to the one you want ot transfer from.
    2. go into iTune on the device and download the purchaces.
    3. on you PC/Mac change the iTunes login to the same as the device's ID
    4. sync your device
    5. change both ID's back and the purchaces stay on both iTunes and your device.
    Delmar,
The procedure you describe is putting content from two different IDs into a single library, which can readily be done.
However, each item of purchased content will still be tied to the ID from which it was originally purchased, and they will be treated separately for purposes of Cloud, Match, Purchase History, etc.

On my old pc, that running XP, itunes would continue playing when I was switching from one user account to another.
Now I have a new PC running win8 and the music stops playing when I switch from one user account to another. I think Itunes is still running on the user that is not active, but the music is not coming out of the speekers.

    Hello over here,
The steps below detail how to place an input chooser that will allow for the adjustment of your keyboard layout while on the login screen.
From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
Click Users & Groups to display the pane (or choose User & Groups from the View menu).
If the lock icon in the lower-left corner of the window is closed, click it, then enter the name and password of an administrator to unlock it.
    Click Login Options.
Select the "Show Input menu in login window" checkbox.
From the Apple menu, choose Log Out.
At the login window, click the Input menu (shows the name of the currently selected input source next to a keyboard icon) in the upper-right corner of the screen, then select the desired input source or keyboard layout. If you don't see the input source you are looking for, move the pointer over Other Input Sources, then select the input source from the complete list that appears.

  • How do I move music from one apple ID to another

How do I move music from one apple ID to another?

If you want to change your iCloud ID to another existing ID you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data (including the calendar) to the new account.  To do this, first go to Settings>iCloud on your iPad and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off.  When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPad.  After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  (Note, this will delete the account from your iPad but not from iCloud.  The account will remain in iCloud if anyone else chooses to remain signed into it an continue to use it.)  Next, set up the new iCloud account using your new ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On.*  When prompted, choose Merge.  This will upload the data to your new account.
    * If you only want to upload the calendar, only turn Calendar to On; but I'm assuming you will be the owner and want this to be your iCloud account on your iPad with all your data, and then your can share the calendar with others and administrate it.

  • HT201320 How can I switch from one email user to another?

How can I switch from one email account to another?

You have to select between the two accounts in the mail app.
Say for instance that you are reading an email in your XYZ email account. Tap the button in the upper left corner of the mail app to back out all the way to where you can see all of the email accounts.... Tap InBox, then tap XYZ email Account and that will take you back to the main MailBoxes window.
Is that what you want to know? There is no way to simply "toggle" between the two accounts.
